My in law US veteran spend around 10 years dealing with Veterans Affair to get his retirement fullfill then last minute they demand him to take a drug test ; imagine in ten years been poor he would of end up doing. If these Latinos would have been Black, the police officers would have pepper sprayed them, shot them, allowed vicious dogs to physically attack them and water hosed them. Why is it that the US government knows how to prevent Black people from crossing the boarders illegally, but they seem to be at a loss when it comes to Latinos.

What is the state of American relations with its own neighbor Mexico? \n\nFrom my perspective, it seems neglected and could be the cause or at least a major factor in what we are seeing at the US-Mexico border.

I live in El Paso. They didn’t even set foot in the US. They rushed the Mexican side of the bridge, not the US. Also, I saw someone labeling them “Mexican,” but they’re Venezuelans. Mexicans are tired of having to house them and there’s been a lot of xenophobic attacks against them.

I respect all people. But you don’t have the right to just enter any country you desire cuz of problems. I mean those people were running with smiles on their faces like it’s Black Friday. Life isn’t easy for someone without the docs to be in US. but THATS the way it should be ??

Venezuela used to be one of the wealthiest countries not long ago at all. Now they are being run as a socialist country. With hardly any food or normal every day products or medicine. This is what the democrats want US to become.

My friend is from Mexico who came to the US legally and has been a border officer for many years now. He has a very hard time telling Mexican migrants that they cannot enter the US illegally. But the law is law and it is the same if you enter Mexico. It's just a matter of Mexico doesn't have many opportunities for jobs that pays well and it's a better life in the US. I grew up with migrants all of my life. They worked 3 jobs for many hours per day but would rather have that than go back to Mexico - with no job. If Mexico had a flourishing economy, I feel migration isn't an issue. But then there's history - California belongs to Mexico but someone sold it to the Americans long ago.
