The students prefer Canada as it is the easiest way to get PR status. And there is no strong vetting system.These are agents’ main selling points. I have seen students struggling for qualified jobs after the course, most of them taking labour jobs. Probably, most of them wouldn’t have any sort of such work in India, here working as a helper for a mason, working as a delivery boy etc.

Come to the US, spend 6 months here and you'll be running back to Canada in no time. It's literally the same problem times 10! Of course I believe anyone has their legit reasons not to like the place they live. But to compare to the US is somewhat a joke.

i am an indian and i dont understand why some indian families particularly in punjab and andhra region are soo obsessed with sending there kids outside for education ??? it has little value in india unless it is an IB league college .. someone going to canada to study commerce or a BSc is very stupid . Finish your graduation in india and give exams for masters . go abroad only if you have a certain good score otherwise it is of no use .

When I taught English overseas, many of my students constantly asked me about moving to Canada. I told them to avoid Canada like the plague. Life was hard, wages were low, housing unaffordable, and decaying infrastructure. I'll never understand why so many immigrants want to live in this frozen hellhole.

They dropped interest rates to nearly zero to stimulate the economy during covid. 3 months in it was obvious that industry wasn't doing anything because covid stopped things. Housing went crazy. A time plan showing how much resources are needed to go any where in the world they want, should be included. This would help immigrants before anyone leaves the original country. It is important to know if and where they can recreate an environment like they left behind, in a new country.
