I think this is more of a video based on Canadian pride rather than facts. things Like half a point for hygiene gets thrown in there which is just a slap in the face to Americans.\nThen idiotic statements about it being better because it's more gay friendly. Why would anyone want to take their child to the land of pedophiles. \nThey also talked about their terrible gun laws as if they were doing something good for Canada.\nAmerica wins by a land slide.

This whole system needs an overhaul. Why is Canada recruiting so many international students just from India anyway? If there has been a need for housing/hostels for international students why doesn't the government tackle this. In Kenya private developers build studio apartments in areas with Colleges/Universities, this works out pretty well. A private space is better than strangers huddled up together

Canadians use immigrants as a way of life. The entire country runs on immigrant labor. However when an American moves to Canada, with advanced skills to bring to the table, we are treated like the Indian folks, so we just turn back around and go home.

At my university in Vancouver, masters were mostly Indian ? and even undergraduate is also like 100% International students. The difference is the school has several branches located in NJ, Canada, and the UK. I've never heard of a negative event happening though. interesting

It sounds so dumb seeing two Nigerian ladies complain about standard of living in Canada while their own country is 1000000 times worse. Yup I'm Canadian and used to be proud. But Canada has gone to shit in the last 20 years. I will eventually be moving my family out of Canada. You cannot retire here. Cost of living is so high they will keep you working until you die. They do not care about you. Health care in Canada IS NOT FREE. Biggest lie they tell the world.

You could have found out about the cost of living, weather and demographics online before you went. As for being boring, outside of work you have total control over how bored you are. I’ve lived in six countries, a mix of big cities and small towns and have never been bored because the old tropes are true; only boring people get bored and you make your own fun. Glad you’re back in the paradise that is Nigeria. Why would anyone want to leave there?

Good for you returning home where you have security, peacefulness life and best healthcare ever. Why living in a shit hole country like Canada. Go back home where land of prosperity is, dreams can be achieved, the land of opportunities. Why staying here where less than half population have electricity and clean water. Go back home where you have 20% of earth’s freshwater.

I came to Canada with high hopes. But I left Canada after six years. As an introvert life was extremely hard there. Suffered depression, racism and devoloped an anxiety disorder. I regretted the decision I made but it was too late as I spend a lot of money and effort to be in Canada. I made the money save up and came back to India. I am happy here and finally I can breathe freely. I enjoy life here and enjoy the freedom here. I still visit once a while but to live there permanently is not for me and my mental health.\nCanada is beautiful its just not for me.

Only people from poor countries find Canada appealing; everything you said is correct and has been for a very long time. I left 20 years ago and will never go back.

I also need to be able to work less in order to spend as much time w my time with my family as possible and have enough time left over to rest and take care of myself properly. Everything you say is bang on and I have to say that the most frustrating of all is that the government reaches out to foreign nations seeking professionals - it's called the brain drain, but as you say, once you arrive, they make it VERY DIFFICULT to get into the professions you're trained for. Finally, you come to realize that the red on either side of the Canadian flag is red tape! I have seen immigrants with PhDs working as security guards, doctors working as lower level healthcare workers, etc. Canada is a wonderful country but they a lot of issues to resolve. As for the weather - too bad about that!

Canada is jail you are in prison in your own home because of cold and far away from where you find affordable rent and it's passport is worthless if you can't afford to travel

'Free Healthcare in Canada'. I can't stand those words. Healthcare here is Canada is NOT FREE. We pay incredibly high taxes for that healcare, in most cases the extra taxes you will pay per month are way higher than if you were to buy your own private coverage. Most Canadians are exceptionally slow witted with money though and they can't figure out that once they pay income, gst, pst, sin, fuel, carbon, property taxes and on and on, you lose WELL OVER 50% of your income to the government. If you ask a Canadian what they pay in tax they will state their income tax, their brains can't comprehend the entire scope of being ripped by the government
