Hey. It all about choice. So let’s get it straight. The people who worked hard to build and develop Canada over the last 200 Years and paid their taxes, that’s ok. You however, feel you shouldn’t have to pay your way like Canadians. If you love your Country and the lifestyle, why did you leave it? No one twisted your arm to leave your fantastic Country and and move to this awful nasty boring and expensive Country with such uninteresting people unfriendly people. Gee, perhaps Canadians should move to your Country and not need to work, no medical expenses, no tax, and everything free. No need to work, Fantastic! What country are you people from? Hey, move to the USA by all means please and take your friends with you, so you will be one big happy group. Gee the Americans shall welcome you with open arms. As the saying goes, if you don’t appreciate what Canada has given you, that fine, just leave ASAP and be happy wherever you want to go! Actually, I have never heard such garbage from two thankless persons in my life. Again it’s a case of the minority spoiling it for the many Immigrants from all over the world who LOVE CANADA AND APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY CANADA HAS GIVEN THEM. They worked hard to build a life for themselves and their Family. Many of them became wealthy financially and in a personal sense and never expected the Government or anyone to give them a free hand. These people make Canada what it is in spite of people like you. So, leave now and make room for someone else who what’s the opportunity to live in Canada and shall appreciate it. Ho by the way, just remember to leave your Passport here and renounce your Canadian Citizenship, which you obviously do not respect or value. We Canadians shall wish you every success wherever you decide to live. I promise you that I shall never move to your Country and expect a free cup of coffee, never mind a free lunch. I’m sure I would be welcomed with open arms, given free food and a roof over my head and somewhere to sleep. HA! HA! Pigs are pink and fly!

Be careful. In this video you both sound like spoiled brats. Many people in your home country would do almost anything to trade places with either of you. It sounds like you would both be happier if you went back home. When you get there please contribute some of what you learned in Canada to the people around you. But before you leave please be sure to thank the Canadian government officials and the other Canadians who helped to make it possible for you to reside in Canada legally. You should both remember that there are millions of illegal immigrants in the US and Europe who would gladly trade places with either of you. By the way, I am not Canadian. But I imagine that many of the Canadians who watch this video will feel you are both rather ungrateful for the opportunities that Canada has given you.

Welcome to Canada first if all. Why do people choose to leave their own homeland, then complain once they move to their chosen location? Canada has wonderful opportunities for anyone coming here, but if you think it’s a bed of roses, your dead wrong. Do your homework , research, decide what’s best for you. Live here for a few years , decide then. If it’s got you, move on, move out, your choice. But like any country there are good as well as bad. You can live a good life in Canada. So sorry we have cold winters that make us have the need to import many items and drive up the need to live here. So sorry you came and don’t enjoy the lifestyle here. This story sounds like what someone told me some years back about the UK. I'm not surprise because Canada is model after the UK. I learned is not a republic because the Queen of England still rules. But I don't agree that you can't become rich. There are rich and poor people everywhere.

One of the problem is that the doctors and other medical professionals use the low costs educational systems in Canada to get an education and then promptly leave for the US. Taxes are high in Canada. But try paying 20,000 to 25,000 to buy health insurance for a family of three. And you go to hospital for a week and end up with $125,000. Bill. When you consider the cost of education and medical. In the US where you paying high health insurance, you wait 8 hours in ER. I think most immigrants are too disgruntled. Many of them.move to Us and regret it. Sometimes, we want to come into Canada and look to get rather than contribute. Where in the US are seniors getting old age pension. Where in us is there a year maternity leave. This video is not based on facts. In Canada taxes are high because you have low education and health costs. Children are taken of though monthly child allowance, etc. Decent health care. Well go because millions are standing by. I would like to see your statistics. The older people do leave but why would you count them as departures.

Black is an ethnicity thing. And its the only thing us African desendants have to identify ourselves. To be honest you are not black until you are around other people. Hmmmmm,what we fail to understand is that people joined hands to make Canada what it is. One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

Today you’re healthy and working and hate paying taxes, tomorrow you’re sick and unemployed and you get those taxes back. Maybe you’ll be lucky and it won’t happen to you, then at least you’ll be living in a country where people aren’t left to go hungry or die of preventable illness.\n\nYou pay to live in that kind of society in crime and social conflict.\n\nThe truth is that Canada is both freer than it’s southern neighbour and has more social mobility. On global league tables it ranks with Scandinavia and America lags behind. Now, if you want longer paid holidays, like in Europe, you’ll pay for them in other ways.\n\nAs for Canadians that skip south, they know that after avoiding those terrible taxes that ruin their lives, they can come back if they fail and everyone else will pay, but that’s a Tory for you.

Never forget your home. Build at least a one bedroom in your own land back home, so you can return in your old age, if you live to your 70s, 80s or 90s. Look at the number of homeless people abroad, who are old. Don't forget your family back home. All these people talking are young but work very hard now and buy land in your hometown and build a place for yourself, and if possible a place to rent out so you can get income in future. You will never own anything in these oyibo lands. You will always pay very high taxes, even when you are not working or retired, and the house will go into foreclosure. Think my African brothers and sisters. I know things are bad back home, but don't get old and try to live here. A nursing home is like a prison. We are not used to that kind of restricted lifestyle.

Well I hope you two young and beautiful ladies stick with Canada. \n\nI will say you might be a little off when you say that in the USA you will be paid more and can become richer. The fact is the US has the highest inequality among wealthy nations. And the worst health care, they place 20 out of 20 in the OECD. So wages and getting rich I disagree with, and cost of goods are on par....however housing is still cheaper and that is a big one. \n\nDue to the massive immigration we are experiencing here (too fast imo) it plays a big factor in health care degradation and wait times etc. The government was slow to respond to the fact when you add 300 000 people a year to Ontario it will require more health care providers. \n\nAnd don't forget it was the taxes my ancestors paid that provided the buildings you now enter for health and school etc. It seems that is seldom thought of by new comers. Moving out of Canada is like spitting on God’s grace. Some people find it difficult to be thankful and don’t know how good they have it until it’s gone..\n\nIf you want to be selfish & make obscene amount of $$$ for ‘wealth’, you’re more than welcome to leave. Tax shelters are not a good thing… Why do you think so many Americans feel angry at the inequality? I get around 1 month + holiday in the UK. \nHA, Canada's holiday is like the USA, sounds even worse. \nMore Naija people are coming to Canada, some leaving their top jobs. CONTINUE.

ALL TRUE. I left Canada for the States in 2021. Single RN no dependents here, no chronic disease. There was no sweet spot for me back home. Working extra shift or working according to my FTE has always been a dilemma. Coz the more money you make the more you are being taxed. At some point, it felt like I was just working for my bills and for other peoples’ social benefits/health care. I wasn’t saving up more. I wasn’t building wealth. Definitely the safest and one of the best BUT that’s if you are WILLING to pay the price. Here in the States, I can pay my US and Canada bills at the same time. Can’t do that back home ??. This is the all true allover western countries people are program like robot even here in Holland and Belgium, discrimination, police injustice, lack of respect for your colour and your Africa diploma's is just the same. I haved lived in Ontario Albert and Saskatchewan. My favorite was Albert sad we moved but I'm happy where I live now witch is manitoba. Those many be the facts about Manitoba I love it here winters are not that bad and people here are so friendly you get treated like family and were I live in Manitoba it's like everyone knows everyone to me it's safe and home.

Bad things about Saskatchewan:\n-A LOT of snow, A LOT\n- negative 30c is the norm in winter, summer usually plus 25c (It's COLD)\n-housing prices aren't as cheap as the video says... sure you can buy a place for $280,000 :) ...an apartment. \nA new family house made in 2012 costs $550,000, an old one made in 1980 costs $330,000.\n- Not a lot of bang for your buck. Yes, there are jobs in the major cities but the pay isn't so great unless you are a nurse or work in health care. (Best province for upcoming nurses btw) Minimum wage for the win! \n-As I said previously, minimum wage for the win! There are jobs but you don't get paid enough to live without a roommate or almost be constantly broke.\n-Rent is okay. If you DO manage to get a decent paying job, like a teacher, plumber, doctor, etc, rent is cheap.\n-Expensive retirement. Thinking the healthcare is great for seniors? It is. But, get ready to give every last penny to your senior home. A neighbour got a quote from a local seniors home for him and his wife, $65,000 per year (MINIMUM) for the 2 of them. That's how much the old folks home costed.\n-You need a car. If you want to visit outside the major cities, you need a car. In the cities you can survive traffick by bus, but it is better with a car.\n-You can't see northern lights a lot. Not from the cities. You have to go north, north, north, out in the middle of nowhere.\n\nGood things about Saskatchewan: \n-No cougars. Bears and wolves live here, mainly in the north.\n-People are friendly. There isn't as much crime in the 2 major cities, Prince Albert does have a lot though just like the video said, so I'd steer clear of that place.\n-Great education. Good place to raise a family.\n-Great healthcare. Has most covered in universal healthcare I think out of every province. Seniors like to move to Saskatchewan for retirement. It's a great place to retire if you have the money to move.\n-Lots of local stuff to see. A lot of local shops, parks, camp grounds, etc.\n-Rent is cheap. It's cheaper than Vancouver or Toronto.\n-Food prices are alright. Not good, not bad, just okay. Even a poor single mother can buy some food I think.\n-Lots of land. There is lots of flat land here. Not that you could own it all lol But it is pretty to look at.\n\nHighlights/Best people to move here:\n-nurses\n-immigrants for fast food jobs\n-rich seniors\n-rich families (good place to raise a family)\n\nPeople not good to move here:\n-single people\n-poor seniors

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Eight reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to Asia. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same thing. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada, not live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too expensive, too cold, too depressing, very high taxes, no jobs, xenophobic people . . . a horrible place.

Life in Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) is way better. \n\n2) Weather : rain during winter is really a BC thing, the rest of the country : is SNOW and cold for 4-5 months\n\n3) Again, the cost of living is super expensive in Vancouver and Toronto. Here, in Montréal, it’s affordable.\n\n4) The more taxes you pay means you are making good money. 50% of taxes is \n\n5) Canada is beautiful, but if you don’t like our country, why did you came here in the first place ? \n\n6) Covid : Mmm it was maybe extreme, but Canada is one of the country that manages the best the pandemic in the world \n\n7) Rules ? Try coming to South America where I was born. There’s a lot more rules there and good luck for your safety \n\n8) Politic ! We are actually one of the most democratic country in the world. People fighting about politics? Ahahah I grow up here and never saw this ever and I saw the 1995 referendum.\n\n9) Status chasing is a really Vancouver thing, probably Toronto too, but the country is huge.\n\n10) Isolated place, mmm again Vancouver is not Canada. Most of the Canadian population live in East Canada where the majors cities (Toronto, Montréal, Ottawa, Québec) are. It’s true a lot of places are isolated, but it’s a choice living in those areas.

Try growing up as a poor white kid in a predominantly black neighbourhood. For people like me white privilege does not exist. I was jumped and beaten by black kids while growing up just because I was a white kid racism works on both ends of the spectrum. I also wasn’t excepted by the white kids because I came from a poor family.

I'm an international student (now graduate) living in Montreal, most of my classmates (including me) say they had a much better life back home. They had less income, but also less expenses. Most of the people in my country own huge ancestral houses, farms, gardens, lands.. They don't live like birds in cages, like here in Canada

I understand ur point, but as someone in an Arabic country, i could even say Canada is the big RED dream, so many opportunities are there! , and I totatly respeqt your reasons . but I think as someone like you who lived there years and years , you have normalized so many things in Canada and those things are a dream for others. \nI don't know your dreams or anything about you . but ask your self why there are so many immigrant people in Canada. and then you will know why Canada is great for others . \noverall canada is a good place for ppl in their 20's or 30's, otherwise you should think more about staying or moving to canada . \ngood luck.

I agree that it is boring, cold, expensive, high tax high services, I mean people didn’t work for a year and got paid plenty for nothing. Taxes are incremental based on income as they should be. Coming from a major Latin American city, you have no idea what it is to live under fear of assault or harm at any moment, having corrupt politicians, police, and people in general. You are privileged having been born here because it is much easier to make a living, with good laws, you should go to places where people drink on the streets and pee and shit everywhere. I’m sure there are better places in the world but you will never feel like at home, and each place will have it’s own difficulties. I don’t think we all need to live in the same place but don’t believe that you are able to move to any place in the world if you weren’t Canadian.

I hope you don't underestimate Europe's existing problems when i went to London 4 years ago i was shocked that it wasnt the place i imagined it to be no need to explain im sure you understand what i mean. Im an Asian immigrant, but i wasnt expecting that i couldnt even see a caucasian in London mostly arabs, blacks, indians, some asians i do not hate it but im just confused i worked in the middle east for 10 yrs and i was hearing arabic speaking everywhere, also asian language its like im in Vancouver or Surrey area.
