I have nothing against Immigration. I am immigrant myself, but I sacrificed a lot and gave up a lot just to migrate to Canada for the hope of a better life. And since I am poor and can't afford to migrate as entrepreneur, I have to gave up my profession and worked as a live-in caregiver for years.\nLucky for those people, to just cross the border.

In 2010 I had a one way ticket to Florida to visit some friends. At the airport they pulled me aside and said that if I didn’t come back to Canada within 14 days I’d never be allowed back into America again. I was traumatized and never went back. But here we are 13 years later and I can just walk wherever I want to go on this side of the world lol…but for real, this is sad. If you aren’t used to Canadian temperatures your in trouble. Hope everyone is okay. It is rough though, I was in a shelter for two months, but some families were there for almost a year because of the housing crisis. I’m not exactly sure how this will work. ?

I’m the son of immigrants. However, my parents asked for asylum by going to us embassy in Bangkok Thailand. So born and raised in America. But when I see this it breaks my heart, on one hand I feel for those who want a better life for themselves. On the other, we cannot let this type of chaos unfold before our eyes. Is the solution a militarized wall that mirrors the Korean DMZ or West Bank barrier- maybe, I hope not, i prefer not to build walls but bridges of friendship, trade, problem solving, and unity. Overall I’m just frustrated.

You mix up family doctors with clinics. You may have to wait for a family doctor, but you make it sound like there is no medical help available. In these cases --- go to a clinic. Little knowledge is a bad thing when trying to attack a health system that is admired all over the world. Very sorry your experience in Canada was not what you hoped for or expected. Perhaps elsewhere are better destinations. To find fault without commenting on the positive aspects is very misinforming. Basically your video sucks.

Canada is what you would call an enabler when it comes to druggies and crazy people. You can have Canada and their liberal and policed country. At one time is was a great country. I lived there once and went back and forth for 30 years and watched the government get worse and worse. The people are great but the government is not. The tax points are valid but it also has a plus side. Having the sales tax added at checkout forces you to know what you are paying and hopefully being outraged at each and every purchase. Income taxes on your pay stub every two weeks throws the tax amount right into your face so that you can't not know. 30 years ago in Ontario there was a proposal to have sales tax included in prices. I wrote a letter to my MPP arguing against. People need to be confronted by the idea of their tax amounts. Being perpetually offended by taxation keeps the populace from getting complacent about government mismanagement of the public purse.

There are some things about our healthcare system that are annoying, but I'm ok with it overall. I'm Canadian born and haven't had a family doctor since mine passed away years ago, but clinics and emergency rooms are good enough for me. I was never a sickly sort. Crossing my fingers and hoping that these post COVID symptoms will eventually go away without all kinds of prodding by annoying doctors. I also plan to make use of these cancer screening appointments the province mailed to me last month. Not sure if they do that for everybody, or if there's a switch that gets flipped when Canadian residents reach a certain age.

Remember, you are free to criticize Canada, as its an Anglo country and culture and its values laws very much allow for that, in fact encourage that.
