Hello, good day to you. I have a question I wanted to check with you. I am trying to submit a CRS profile for Canadian Experience Class. \nIs it possible to get 50 points for CRS - Arranged Employment, for a Closed Work Permit with no LMIA, Reciprocal Employment? I am seeing 0 points for CRS- Arranged Employment.

Girls I'm listening and trying to find out what's unique to Canada apart from cold where else is better to move to? The things you're pointing out is the entire country you're taking about?

I am sorry, but your video is lacking substance and numbers! There is just a generalized opinion.on topics that cd have been a very high content opportunity to share.\nLadies, it is very hard to hear a point when there is interruptions.\nYour topic is huge! Please continue sharing after researching some stats and visuals to engage your audience fully.\n\nThanks for your videos

Well said ladies. At this point, anyone thinking like me should just have his goals, timelines and priorities right. Get the kpali, Brushup and gain the requisite experience and skills for occupational mobility across the globe. 5 years is enough time to dig it. If you have a family and your kids are still young, better for them in Canada than Naija. Buhari has finished it.

You both make valid points about Canada. I am 2nd generation Canadian. I do feel like its expensive here and Even I have a hard time landing a job. (Recently got laid off from my career job, they said I didn't have enough experience to work there). My friends who aren't single and live with their partner, have an easier time living here compared to people who are single & living by themselves. \n\nNight life is boring here. However, daytime life specially in the summer is better. I feel like Canada is more for an outdoor person. Depending where you live, there are beaches, mountains, trails, & lakes to explore. Some parts of Canada even look tropical! We have hot springs here as well!\n\nFor the leisure & work life balance, I feel like that depends on the person. I used to work 2 jobs (not because I was bored or needed the money at the time), I just wanted to save more money & help my friend out with his business. I felt like I had good balance of work & leisure. I hanged out with my friends on Friday & Saturdays then I had my 'me' days on Sundays.\n\nIf you are going to move here, do your research, also I don't think people consider their countries dollar into the equation, what I mean is, if you want to convert your money to Canadian... you might have less money then you have. Example, at this moment, 1 Mexican Peso is 0.066 Canadian dollars, therefor people coming from Mexico might have a hard time afford things in Canada compared to a person who is moving from USA. (1 USA Dollar = 1.31 Canadian Dollar).\n\n\nO btw, I love both you hair!!~

Interesting points, I’ve had friends leave but they always preserve their citizen status just in case they get sick. Health care is so expensive for example in the US that people lose their homes to pay for surgeries and medications like insulin. So its definitely valuable to be Canadian if just for health cost reasons. Have the people that you know that have left Canada renounced their Canadian citizenship?

I am from Toronto Canada and completely agree with a lot of your thoughts on this. The healthcare, the 9-5 rat race etc. Definitely on point and accurate. Keep up the great work!

Excellent video! Agree! I am Canadian born but some of these points I can even relate to, especially how hard they make it to accumulate wealth. We are taxed to death - our income is taxed and then we are taxed again when we buy goods. It seems like they do everything they can to prevent wealth building. The retirement saving plan….is even a rip off when you consider you give your money to the government to get a reduced value years later after inflation…..almost feels like I’m a slave and the kings and queens have just put on suit and ties. I think higher officials in government are way over paid…securing ridiculous pensions and getting huge raises on tax payer money.

Strong up to you both Sis, Your so on point, We're been Enslave in this country, And or working all by your self but before we collect your pay, they already pay themselves out of your hard earn money, Not to mention, We sacrificing our family time from home in the name of working overtime just trying to get by, They dig even deeper into that overtime money, The only thing left for them to tell us is that, We of to stay poor and marginalized, They take our Hard earn money and Giving it to A lot of healthy people who are on a shitsym call welfare, who chose not to work, So the shitsym is encouraging these people to be lazy, and having them living off of our our sweet, They're also taking in a lot people into Canada and are treating them way better than how they treated us tax payers, And most of them coming to Canada to ride on the shitsym because they'll know the loopholes how to bleed the shitsym, This is Factual and true, Stay strong up to u both, Please keep the fyiah burning

I'm a US citizen from Chicago. New transplant in Canada, I find the same points on the other side. Its how you manage your life and time and it highly depends on your lifestyle and if you have a family. But I do agree on the entertainment, there's just more to consume in the US.

So, you are not actually talking from the point of view of people who are born and raised in Canada. I came here to listen in regards with that in mind. However, you did talk about what I was wondering and had a feeling that those who moved here from another country may feel. Thank you very much.

I am Canadian born to Jamaican parents. I understand all of the points made and agree as To why someone would leave Canada. There are more outdoor activities to do here but this could be done anywhere. My main reason for staying is the maternity maternity leave length of time But lately I have been considering leaving because of the terrible Prime Minister

That is why I returned to my home country 20 years ago after obtaining the Canadian citizen. The main advantages in canada for sure are the natural environment and spacious living space. Now I have the wealth by low tax in my country and process another property to rent as income.Besides due to the so many cons factor in canada I 99% do not consider to return back.Totally agree to your opinions regarding this topic. And your points are so accurate as I have ever listened to.Support your channel!

My sister who works as an RN in Los Angeles told me that she has worked alongside Canadian, British, Aussie nurses in hospitals. California has the highest salaries for nurses in the US if not the entire world. At the height of the pandemic it wasn't unheard of for some of them to make $100/hour. Canada has been losing a lot of experienced healthcare workers to the US and this is partly the reason why their system is at a breaking point. It seems to me that Canada even with it's high cost of living and taxes is still attractive to folks coming from developing countries coz a single person who saves an average of $500/month is still better off than living in their home countries. But there've been thousands of cases of folks coming from Europe, Oceania and well-off countries in Asia who surrendered their PR cards at Pearson and other ports of entry.

ALL TRUE. I left Canada for the States in 2021. Single RN no dependents here, no chronic disease. There was no sweet spot for me back home. Working extra shift or working according to my FTE has always been a dilemma. Coz the more money you make the more you are being taxed. At some point, it felt like I was just working for my bills and for other peoples’ social benefits/health care. I wasn’t saving up more. I wasn’t building wealth. Definitely the safest and one of the best BUT that’s if you are WILLING to pay the price. Here in the States, I can pay my US and Canada bills at the same time. Can’t do that back home ??. Sad but TRUE.

If, you aren't a disciplined person then you won't succeed in western countries especially Canada imo. I see people constantly complaining about being bored, but I rarely see new african immigrants mix with groups outside of their home culture. That results in NO building, no reputation, little to no African districts or recognition at all throughout the provinces. It's a shame.\nThe carribbeans did it right in Toronto and it's why their culture has spread in that city. What's the point of moving to another country that is deemed diverse and not trying to gain a mixed friend group? They can learn from you and help you level up while you promote your culture. You are placing yourself in a box.

The first point is horrible. Complain about high taxes is one thing. But to complain that the money is being but into INFRASTRUCTURE?! That is by far the most important thing for a nation to invest it. and no it doesnt just benefit others, it benefits you. It seems like people forget the purpose of a nation state and that its not to serve specific individuals, but the entire collective.
|
| 2022-08-29 | 0 |
Your first point is sorta like... *crickets*... when a society has a disproportionate number of millionaires, it means there's significant wealth inequality. When too much of a country's wealth is held in the hands of an elite few, it causes an array of social and economic issues that only disadvantage the non-rich. We solve these issues with social welfare programs; you can't have proper social welfare AND have low taxes at the same time. If you care so much about getting rich and being able to have a luxurious lifestyle, then tbh it probably means you have some unresolved issues within yourself that you need to work on.

I don't think higher tax rate is a good point when you compare it to a country like Nigeria. The maximum tax rate you can pay in Nigeria is 24% and it begins from anything from 5.6 million naira per annum. After paying that tax you pay for the school fees of your children, and you pay that 3 times every year, Asides school fees you buy generator and fuel it everyday to get something close to constant power supply. (I don't want to include healthcare because if you have a good HMO they will sort out that perfectly well)\nSome of us still pay security due if you live in an estate. \n\nThe point I am trying to make is that if your tax rate is high let's say to up to 50% and you are sure of the quality of education your children is getting in public schools so you don't have to pay for school fees, You don't have to buy generator and fuel it because there's constant electricity supply and there's good security so you don't have to pay for private security. You might realized that tax rate in Canada is effectively cheaper than here in Nigeria. Because you will still pay for school fees, generator and maintenance and private security and all these have a way of eating deep into your income.

WhizQueen I think you should add solid data to your opinions to further solidify your position. I agree with you that people leave however more people move in than leave. Also many of your points you're comparing with your home country which is biased, that's why I recommend showing stats and surveys that show more people leave than stay (overall) not just for a specific demography.

The first point is so far off from reality.

I don't agree with most of what you ladies counted as negative points! and I'm an immigrant living in Vancouver for the past 26 years. This is a multicultural society and a very successful one, we all mingle with each other and we love it! Loneliness?!! Come on! Have you been to Europe anywhere?!! :)) you won't last a month! Taxes are not too high at all and healthcare does work. I had a brain tumor removal for free and they admitted me after 2 days! If these don't make you feel right at home here, nothing will! By the way, it's TOTALLY fine to have a thick accent here! LOL.

It's worse in the US especially for middle income earners. They are taxed over 30 percent and still paying for their health insurance which is expensive. The immigrants crossing the borders are getting free food, free Healthcare, free housing and free phones. Hence the reason why they are coming in large numbers. At some point, this country will collapse.

Wow, so revealing. It's really not easy anywhere. There are challenges everywhere. I am 46 and planning to relocate to Canada but your point 6 really touched me. My wife also is tired of this country Nigeria and has been praying seriously we relocate to Canada or UK. This video is making me to think again. Anyway, thank you so much and God blessings.

This is the reality we face after the excitement of moving to Canada fades off. The worst for me is the fact that you get this 'big job' that pays well and after it all, govt has a way of redistributing it. It's really frustrating and it discourages some people for looking for higher paying jobs bcos at the end, govt still takes it. These are very valid reasons and I might just be one of those planning to leave at some point?

Awesome Video. I have 1 doubt: if we get a PNP nomination which adds 600 points in our CRS score, will we get an express entry for only that province or can we settle anywhere in Canada?

Bisola at it again ???..\nThanks for this info, my favourite Canada YouTuber...\n\nAlso about the taxes, aren't there loopholes to exploit , so to reduce the tax liabilities ???\n\nI might have to start paying attention to avoiding taxes/studying loopholes.\n\nYou got me with point 8 ?, cx that's my number 1 reason once I want to move...\n\nThanks again for this update as usual, i gats brace up for what's coming ahead ??\n\nLooking forward to your vlog when you finally become a citizen later this year ??

Good information shared as always, best information for students coming to Canada from starting point until reaching Canada for their studies ??

I find the point about language rather interesting because from my POV in the GTA i can't escape foreign language. For example, at my gym I'm hearing multiple languages being spoken to the point it really hits home that Canada is truly diverse. But this may not be the case in Vancouver.

Islamophobia is common sense! In any democratic nation's constituency, the moment they cross 30% electorate they'll actup, impose Sharia laws. Ofcourse, if they cross 50% they'll soon kill others, convert forcibly. And eventually, when they start ruling, then there is the reign of terror - non-muslims are economically boycotted (halal/haram rules), killed (jihad), taxed till they either die in poverty or convert (jaziya)... all of that will happen. There is enough precedence in the world to validate that... we saw how Persian culture was destroyed, Egyptian culture was destroyed including destroying the ancient Sphynx, how afghanistan changed from buddism to a radical nation including the destruction of the ancient Bhamiyan buddha, how lebanon changed from christian majority to muslim nation recently... the same transition is happening in Sweden, Norway, France, UK, India... it wont be long before we see that in USA. Christians and Jews living in democracies will soon be wiped out by Islam because political parties will endlessly appease them to the point that it becomes suicidal! I repeat, Islamophobia is common sense!!

I want to move my family out of Canada as well. Canada was great in the 90s but now it’s like living in a third world Country. The medical system is falling apart, taxes are out of control, cost of living is nuts. you nailed it with all points. I personally work 10 hour days and I have never had a vacation can’t afford it. I’m literally a slave .
