as a Canadian I love Most of Canada, but Ontario is the best for me.

I have family who live in BC. It is very very expensive to live in this province. Beautiful but expensive. If you are not wealthy expect to exist not live in BC. Moving to Atlantic Canada can equal the difference between existing and truly living. Halifax has warmer summers cooler winters than Vancouver. A super fun hot, dare I say sexy waterfront. I'd take Halifax with its five universities and rapidly growing downtown. Saying BC is most beautiful means that you have not seen Western Newfoundland. Like the best of Norway.

Because Canada sucks! I lived in Montreal for five years and I left. It was the best decision I made. Immigrants are welcome to work those jobs Canadians do not want to do and to pay for the pensions for old Canadians while paying high taxes.

They say to try a place out for 6 months first. It LOOKS a certain way but there's things we don't see.\nI have visited other places but my home remains right for me.\nI so dislike traveling, the process. I didn't find it all that much better than home. Home was best. I don't want to learn another language, shop differently. If you're from Africa, then your heart is there.

It is a very insightful video about what aspects of lifestyle can be very depressing for people. Also, habits define your life. People are not the most highly social in the USA. I moved to Mexico. I missed the tropics and I missed a less planned social life. At the same time, I think the economic pressures that people live in Africa and Latin America need to be addressed. Stay home and work on improving economics for your African or Latin American nations. Trading in extended family and the love of the community for money and loneliness is not worth it. What is worth it is an effort put in to improve the finances of nations with strong communities. The best of both worlds. Excellent video from EBS scholars.

It's happening in nations like India too, just that we're way more populated than US. However, you could be alone in a crowd! I'd like to come to US again because hard work isn't too appreciated here. Plus, I'm depressed. Last time I was depressed 18 years back, coming to US healed me. I love India. Lovely country. Rich culture. Best place to bring up children. Big family. But it all depends on person to person. Will never feel lonely. Very kind, compassionate and loving people. Especially during lockdown the way people have helped each other. I am blessed to be born here. I travel around the world.

my childhood was in a city with 100k population. my school was 5-7 minutes of walk. my music school was 20 minutes away. I had no any issue walking myself to where I need. without any supervision. It was super safe. Just imagine you are living in a world, - where no criminals, no guns, no violence, no pedophile alerts and databases where they are registered. Imagine a kid 6-8yo is walking alone from home to school and back. That was there. Not anymore much. Soviet union was not the best place to live in, but it was damn safe there. And now what? Fertilization and cancer clinics are everywhere. Obesity. You cannot let your kid go to school without a bus cause it's illegal to do so. You cannot even leave them alone at home for 1h. It's also illegal.

As my husband (EBM) knows well, our family is recognized all over the city. Either, someone from our church sees us and says hi, the employees at Target, Walmart or other grocery store know us. It’s hard to miss our crazy family. We have three children under 12 years. One must try to engage others. You cannot blame others for a lack of social interaction if you yourself do not try. Do not think that you will get best friends just from talking to some one. Most people want to *feel* they can trust you. Be yourself. Whomever you are. Do not pretend to be anything you are not. While being fake can get you somewhere, it’s still fake. Plenty of people here in the US are fake. You have to find *your* people. It takes time and energy.

I agree with most of your video. I grew up in Quebec and its the best province in Canada. I think British Colombia deserve a better spot like number two. I lived two months there and Vancouver Island is an incredible place for vacation.

Alberta is the best we have the crown jewel of Canada Banff and Jasper and the drive in between. The only negative I could think of is all of the broke back mountain cowboy wannabes in Calgary they will never be the capital city aka the city of champions I don't even think they have a waterpark in their malls or a roller coaster how sad is that? I currently live in Quebec city area and have been for six years, HOWEVER, I have lived in NB and Ontario for a while and as far as Quebec being one of the best province in your video, I respectfully disagree! I hate this province so much and rather live in NB, Ontario, Alberta, BC or NS before living here. This province has horrible health care, they are also the most TAXED ppl in the country by far!! They also do not allow you to put your children in the school you want, they dictate that they must go to a french school unless you did most of your education in english, in another province yourself as a parent. Lastly, it probably ranked first because the ppl here think it's the greatest province in the world and have never left it, therefore nothing to compare it to....kind of like an american who will yell out USA is the best country in the world without even travelling outside his country to compare it to lol

My Dude, you're seriously underestimating what qualifies best or worst....NWT is/are majestic and really deserve more than an honorable mention. SAD isn't as much an issues in NL than it is in AB/SK/Territories. Each province is so special, you didn't do them justice

I'm planning to application in AIP program right away after landing canada with International student visa in one of those province....at that time do i need a job offer in my hand if i apply as a foreign skilled person??...but to my best knowledge, i can't work more than 20 hours.... as a Canadian born and bread I am sadden to hear the challenges of new comers but there are a couple pieces of advice I can offer. even Canadians have to build references at adulthood. there are ways to start out. volunteering provides not only references but a sense of contribution and and community. educators and agencies you engage with as do religious institutions and any organizations you may come evolve with for references. as far as the climate dress in\n layers, invest in sturdy boots with good tread in the colder months and to get outside and learn not only to embrace but enjoy the colder months. hike the trails. the trails year round. you can pick up a cheap pair of grippers for your boots in the sporting goods department of any Canadian tire. pick up a cheap toboggan and slide down a hill. snowshoeing after a fresh fallen snow requires endurance but very little skill. its lovely how quiet how still and silent the woods are in the winter. how bright and visible the winter landscape is at night and how lush and green the woods in summer. if in Ontario definitely visit the falls. you can find culture and history in both Montreal and Quebec especially old Quebec. most people in both are bilingual in French and English and even a word or two of French is appreciated and you can be sure of a response in English.youd also be surprised at how possible it is to communicate even with a language barrier. if you are close to Toronto, you can explore many different cultures in both neighborhoods and events.
