One of the problem is that the doctors and other medical professionals use the low costs educational systems in Canada to get an education and then promptly leave for the US. Try going to America for their health care, you pay health insurance, but have to wait ages at emergency, you may get an op faster but if your plan does not cover all your costs you will need to get a loan, some people have to sell their homes. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

Never forget your home. Build at least a one bedroom in your own land back home, so you can return in your old age, if you live to your 70s, 80s or 90s. Look at the number of homeless people abroad, who are old. Don't forget your family back home. All these people talking are young but work very hard now and buy land in your hometown and build a place for yourself, and if possible a place to rent out so you can get income in future. You will never own anything in these oyibo lands. You will always pay very high taxes, even when you are not working or retired, and the house will go into foreclosure. Think my African brothers and sisters. I know things are bad back home, but don't get old and try to live here. A nursing home is like a prison. We are not used to that kind of restricted lifestyle.

When I tell Africans not to go to Canada they never listen. Canada is a really cool country. There's no doubt about that but in winter the weather gets really cold, dull, grey and depressing. Instead of moving always to The UK, US or Canada, why not try the Caribbean and some central American countries. These countries are very colorful, lively and bright with climate similar to ours. There are lots of folks over there that look like us as well except that you may have to learn a little Spanish which shouldn't be a problem at all. \nI'm a Nigerian too.\nI also dreamt of moving to Canada 15 years ago. I was so crazy in love with the country at first but because I was aware of how depressing winters can be I had to switch my dream destination to the Caribbean. I choose Panama because of the large Afro Panamanian community over there. Secondly because Panama looks like a more developed version of My country, Nigeria with beautiful beaches and a nice tropical weather. It's one of those few Caribbean nations with a free world class universal healthcare system like most countries in Europe.

You started the video with an opinion not a fact. You can In fact gain wealth here. You have access to RRSPs and tax Free Savings accounts to help with Taxea for people earning over 6 figures. No one has tries to take your money, the policies are clear as day. You also have access to the Canadian stock market where they will allow you to keep 50% of your excess and tax the other 50%. No disrespect to this man but how do you live in a country for 15 years and not pick up at least an elementary level understanding of the language. Especially English. English is one of the more easier languages to learn. Even easier than spanish since you dont have to worry about conjugation of verbs etc. Alot of English is just memorizing words and knowing basic grammar to string those words to together. Even broken english or english with a thick accent is good enough since most people will get the gist of what your trying to say over time. I understand putting yourself out there when you dont know the language may be a bit embarrassing since you may mess up alot but most people are pretty patient. I don’t honestly know these people live day to day not being able to communicate with most people.

They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to Asia. Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. Actually that true .I’m citizen of British Columbia. I try to sponsor 2018 sponsors my sister an she’s husband. But according to canada immigration rule can’t sponsor my sibling.however that immigration is not satisfied. It processing is according government prime minister. Have a Nasty immigration system. I hope you don't underestimate Europe's existing problems when i went to London 4 years ago i was shocked that it wasnt the place i imagined it to be no need to explain im sure you understand what i mean. Im an Asian immigrant, but i wasnt expecting that i couldnt even see a caucasian in London mostly arabs, blacks, indians, some asians i do not hate it but im just confused i worked in the middle east for 10 yrs and i was hearing arabic speaking everywhere, also asian language its like im in Vancouver or Surrey area. I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines, then migrated in Canada in 2014, and become Canadian Citizen in 2020. I tried to be a Nurse in Canada, but it was extremely difficult.. Fastforward, I got to enrol in a bridging program for International Nurses in 2020 in Ontario and I was so happy! When I was about to start the program, COVId hit and they cancelled the school.. Not knowing if I could secure a seat in the program (the usual waiting time for the seat is 3-5years!) I decided to just moved to US and work as an RN.. But I really miss Canada, planning to live near the border, but the rentals are 3-4x expensive compare to US! Canada is becoming more and more expensive too.. ?
