Please keep your illegal immigrants in the US, we don't want their sorry asses in Canada. We want legal immigration only....

What, did he think he would be given a free ride? Does he actually think immigrating to a new country wasn't going to cost him anything? How many years did he live in the US? And now, in Canada for the last 10+ months, yet he can't speak a fucking word of English? \n\nNow he complains that the process is taking too long, yet, had he immigrated legally (as he should have), it would have taken FAR longer and would have to spend that time inside his home country...\n\nI really don't get his attitude, he feels as though he's entitled to immigrate to the US, even though he made absolutely no effort in doing so legally, made absolutely no effort into learning the most widely spoken language on Earth, so he became a criminal by illegally crossing the border and living in the US for years... Then, when he's about to get busted and deported back to his home country, he pulls the exact same thing, illegally crosses the border into Canada, taking the money he's stolen from the US with him, while STILL unable to speak either official languages in Canada where speaking Spanish is about as useful as a condom in a lesbian orgy, nor making any effort into actually learning said languages, and tries to claim refugee status? Refugee status for what? He's not fleeing any war or conflict, the only thing he's fleeing is deportation to his home country from the US because he crossed the border into the US and lived there ILLEGALLY, he's a fucking criminal... And yet, he STILL feels he's entitled to cross the border into Canada and thinks they'll welcome him with open arms...\n\nWhere do these people get the idea that they have the RIGHT to just enter whatever country they wish without having to go through the immigration process? These processes are there for a reason, we don't allow just anyone to immigrate here...\n\nImmigrating to the US is a PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT... Immigrating to Canada is a PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT... \n\nThe fact that this guy and his family have entered 2 countries ILLEGALLY and stayed within its borders ILLEGALLY for all this time, and in both cases, REFUSED to learn the language, and when he was about to be deported back, he fled and kept hiding from immigration officers... That makes him and his family CRIMINALS, and rightfully so... They should be found immediately, arrested and subsequently deported back to the US to face whatever charges, and then deported back to his home country... Period...

Most countries have immigration laws enforced. Hahaha.. What was he thinking!? They are more strict than the USA. Point: Lesson learned don't illegally enter countries.

It should be more easy to invade another country and use their welfare system for noncitizens... If he just went through the proper channels in the US he wouldn’t be having these issues in Canada. Now he’s an undocumented and illegal worker in Canada and is taking advantage of the system. Canada does have stricter immigration laws than the States. I’m all fine with Canada accepting immigrants as long as they do it the legal way and go through the due process that the government has put in place. But this guy has pretty much screwed himself over and is taking advantage of the Canadian citizens I feel

So, after 15 YEARS as an ILLEGAL (not undocumented) he never learned a word of English and never tried to become a LEGAL immigrant in the U.S.? Well if I was illegal (not undocumented) in any other country and not speaking their language, I would be tossed out immediately. Our country was built on immigration, you can NOT say that immigrants are not welcome. Legal and illegal is the difference.

I'm sick of these sob stories. Are those people really that stupid? I'm beginning to think they really are. This man had been in the States for several years according to this video. He was in the States illegally. He clearly never bothered to learn English, and it looks like that for his family too. Then he gets scared because Trump got elected and actually starts ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAW. So he flees to Canada just because of something a really STUPID and poorly liked PM says. So he takes his family and again is expecting to be given asylum, and then does no research to find out the facts about Canada's immigration system before he goes there. Then he complains about having to spend all his money. Oh gee, did he actually think they would just give him free everything??? Clearly the threat he's complaining about in his own country is not that bad, since Canada rejected his asylum. So what does he do? He refuses to turn up for his hearing, and then he flees to another province. Totally criminal activity. Canada's immigration people need to round him up and deport him. It's his OWN FAULT he is separated from his family. HE BROKE THE LAW!!! There are CONSEQUENCES to breaking the law. Sheesh!!! I'm so sick of hearing these sob stories from these freeloaders. No it’s not easy to come to Canada - you have to go through hoops. That’s a misconception. There aren’t a lot of illegals here which says a lot. We do love immigrants but you do have qualify for refugee status. We do have rules!

For me, as a black person ive been told I should wear braids or dreadlocks whenever my hair is chemically straight. When I wear my hair naturally-winter season-I get a ton of compliments. I've also been followed by cops thinking I was an illegal Mexican immigrant because I'm really light skinned. I even had a customer speak Spanish to me a few weeks ago when he thought I was Mexican.

This is utter nonsense! Given the number of illegal refugees and the very large number of immigrants, the effect is costing the taxpayer a massive amount of money. Not only that but they also put huge pressures on housing and jobs.

The problem is that most people who like immigrants dont understand the concept of assimilation. I have no problem with immigrants who assimilate, but when we have so many illegals who enjoy the benefits of the American constitution, without learning English, who dont learn American History or economics, dont pay taxes and then send whatever money they make out of country. Of Course we should kick these people out. they should never be here in the first place. People not willing to assimilate should never be let into any country.
