A little bit skewed but the video makes some good points. I move from Canada to the US in 2016. The US is wild and there are many downsides, such as lack of healthcare and unaffordable higher education to name only the two most glaring ones out of many, but it is economically more vibrant. Regarding rent prices in large cities, if I were to live in Canada again, I'd definitely steer away from Vancouver or Toronto. Montreal has very affordable apartment prices comparatively if you're willing to put up with learning French for instance. Food prices have gone up but so have they in the US since COVID, whether you're living north or south of the border, it's not much better... In the end it's all about weighing pros and cons. What are you willing to sacrifice / let go of, and what is something you can't live without?

People who live in Canada for mote than 10 years their stories are different. They settled everything during that time and live happily. However, these people feel the pain of the country's condition but they are in good shape. Unlike people who moved recently, its very hard and not worth to settle in this country. USA is slightly better in some situations but all over its depends on person's situation and time. \n\nMoving out because someone is going, its not a good approach. Do your own research and if its not worth it then don't go out. There might be other countries which offer better options.

Went to Canada in 2005 first. Things were so different. Was there just for a year before moving to California for about 9 years. Now back in India and love it here. Glad I enjoyed the good days in Canada and USA when it was really good times there. Even Many parts of Uaa are like this now. UK too is bad choice. I worked for a Canadian school/institute as their admissions advisor for India. But when things were not looking good for their job prospects I honestly told them not to go or wait to get in a better US university. Ofcourse this ethical mindset was causing trouble with my work profile and targets, so I quit. Atleast I won't feel guilty of misguiding hopeful students who were ready to take education loan by keeping their homes or ancestral lands as mortgage. I will advise the new generation to choose any country for education after doing all research, not just by the glossy picture they portray.. or best to stay in India and help our economy grow.. create jobs here. Better to live a life king size here than doing labour work in other countries. Better to be a part of growing India than being a secondary citizen somewhere else. Apna desh apna hota hai.???

I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. I hate the bad, but I can see the good despite what our media tells us. However, the system is beginning to collapse, and the average US citizen needs to see it.

We lived 10 years in canada..my wife got health issue due to allergies..however the Doctors in canada couldn't diagnose it properly n no treatment was given...gradually we tried going to emergency and it 6hrs of waitinng time and after that they simply did only blood test , then said everything is good.....but they did nt find what the issue is...we got frustrated for 3 months and my wife health was ruined in 3 months, finally we took decision to come back to india for treatment , on landing day only we went to Hyd Care hospitAl ..all tests done, found the issue.. got treatment in 1 day...alternatively we took Ayurvedic treatment..my wife is doing fine now....those 3 months we saw hell..my wife went almost into deppression....now i moved my family to India...

Very good, hopefully students in india see this and think twice before moving to canada.

Settled really well but since last few years we’ve noticed a lot of crime drugs and Canada became culturally insignificant place to live. Lately Khalistani movement have become more frequent on the streets. The schools are focusing more on LGBTQ and sex education and there is not much other education provided in the schools Finally we decided to move back to India after a lot of discussion with parents and friends and we moved back to India last June. After spending a month in India (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) I feel so secured for my family and kids.\n\nMe and my wife are pharmacists, we have witnessed heath care very closely. we’ve seen a lot of patients died due to not getting heart surgeries on time . Knee replacement has become almost impossible due to a long wait times and patients are badly suffering with pain. Some hospitals had to close down on weekends as no doctors are available, there are no enough beds so patients are being treated on hallways, The wait times in Emergency Departments is so long…\n\nYou should have talked about schools, education policies are not so good till 10th standard they are only focusing on arts, music, drawings, basic maths, sex and LGBTQ. The sex education is compulsory from 5th standard (It was optional before)

I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

I would also add that canada is housing casino for foreign investors with money into Canadian real estate to clean their money while making huge profits running arbnb business, room rentals, flipping homes, having multiple home while not even Canadian citizen or barely living in Canada. Billions of dollars laundered money have been pumped into Canadian real estate fron abraod especially in past 15 years through casinos and other loop holes. This video is exclusively for students and people who are going without any research. I was on temp visa and got PR in a year. Dru*s is a problem every big city in US too. Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. Those who moved out earned good money and came back to India are happier now cos they have the money to function in india and international exposure. It depends where you are in life now and what you are leaving behind. Indian universities are great, and studies are top-notch. However unemployment is still big issue. Do your research, evaluate your options and take a call. And if it didn't work out you can always go back.

The more I watch this video I feel how ridiculously wrong this video is!! Housing is not that unaffordable in Canada. That is not ground reality again. This video is not at all well-researched. I see such propaganda against Canada in this video! I have seen multitude amount of Indians coming in the past 5years and living a very good life. They touch education and talk about the high quality education but do not expand - education is really top notch here. And intense drug problem is in India too! I do agree Canada is not perfect anymore but it is not unliveable!! Also only 10% of population able to take mortgage is very very wrong and false information. Indians and non-Indians have been moving in droves from USA as they cannot afford houses in US but can easily in Canada. This is the exact situation of UK as well. High cost of living, unemployment and racism, homelessness, drug addicts, unsuccessfull medical care and many more. India is much more better in terms of all of these. Hiring process over here is cleary racist. no matter how well you do, you will end up getting no job. If India had strong emplyment rules, wages and good salary, I would move back to India.

I have been working in an immigration industry for the last 1.6 years and I can bet that almost every student who goes to Canada for studies is a complete garbage. No good wt academics, not Basic english with no skill no idea about the future just wants to move abroad coz one of his/her cousin or friends has moved out of India.

I lived, studied, and worked in Vancouver (5 years) I have seen the drug situation firsthand hand all the issues you guys mentioned are 100% TRUE, the recession, rising housing prices and rent, a bit of racism in the hiring system, and almost no hope of jobs after getting laid off I think I made the right decision to come back. Yes, there are a few good things but if you want to move JUST DON'T......

Been in Canada 15+ years. Stay back in india if you are considering a move here. Life is better there 100%. \nOnly come if you are getting a good IT job that keeps you for 3-4 years and you limit your time to that to come and learn then go back after getting Passport. \nEducation is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.\nIndia is live and vibrant, yes with its own issues, but still more hospitable than here.\nYou fall behind financially because of taxes and also mentally becuase of overall slow pace and complacency in people/jobs with very little competition becuase of the oligarchs controlling all things.

I moved to canada to finish highschool and university, and honeslty, I cant wait to go back home. Im under a lot of stress to finish my school before things get even worse. My parents work as building managers for a company, and even though the price of our apartment is lowered because of that, we still have to fight every day just to not go homeless, even though we live on 2 paychecks. We are 1 minor inconvenience away from going completely bankrupt and homeless, canada is honestly one of the worst countries to be right now. I'd rather be at home, in my politically corrupt and underdeveloped country than be in canada, because at least in my home country, i can get good pay and live without fear of going homeless.

Toronto born and raised and a 4th generation Canadian, I loved Toronto so much! As a boy, I was lucky enough to live in a large house at Yonge and St. Clair. Early on we didnt even have to lock the doors or lock up our bikes. We had Beckers corner stores and played tag and baseball down on Summerhill Ave. Fast forward several decades and I have been living in small town USA. By no means is this country even close to perfect but the town I live in is safe, clean and not nearly as populated as Toronto. I am heading back there for a visit and look forward to having my mind blown at the volume of humans that I will see there. I loved the diversity and the amazing food but the housing shortage and ridiculous prices for rent/housing make it next to impossible for even an income earner of my stature want to go back. I cant afford to buy a house there and I make pretty good money. I will love to visit and it is where I am from but I dont see myself moving back there. That makes me sad. Thank you for the video!

What is happening with migration from India, also happened with China from 2000s to 2015 ish. And a lot more in the numbers. The PR issue in NF was because of the province retroactively changing the PR law, which is a dick move. Overall immigration is kinda incontrollable from what I can observe. Most Canadians are not willing to do low paying min wage jobs. The labor market shortage will encourage this in the future. The real issues is with wages and tax, Canadians born here live more comfortably than the immigrants, it is not possible for many to sustain their lifestyle while working low paying min-wage jobs. Labor market shortage will be resolved when wages increase. If wages are good enough then more people will be willing to enter the labor market.

I’m a 68 yr old female Senior (caregiver) living in my car because my only option after a 3 yr wait was BC Housing near the DTES … these are SLUMS that we are supposed to be Thankful for … most of these buildings answer to no one because they get their funding from a number of sources … the STAFF are allowed to treat the Residents anyway they like, with No Conscience… if Canada can’t supply decent housing to their Citizens then they should STOP IMMIGRATION… most new immigrants are treated better financially then the citizens who live here …. The building I lived in is called PENDERA at Pender St. & Beatty Street in Vancouver… it ALL looks good from the outside so people really want to move in …. That’s when the trouble starts … I lived in a RAT INFESTED APARTMENT FOR 6 yrs!!!

It takes 15% of immigrants up to 20 years to realize they've been duped and that the cost of living in Canada is too expensive? I'm surprised that the number of immigrants that choose to leave is not a lot higher, and that they don't do it much sooner. Those with marketable skills (doctorates, degrees, etc) are told by Immigration Canada that the country needs people with their skills. However, it's only AFTER they move here that they find out their foreign credentials are worthless in Canada. It's all a big scam and IC should be ashamed of themselves for selling would-be newcomers a bill of goods.

I moved to Canada last year, I repent now .. life was so easy in my country. I cannot think of buying 500 sft house here. The prices are skyrocketing , I cannot think of doing savings .. My life standard was much better back in my country. I think this Canada is thriving on immigrants money.. now that I already have spend my hard earned money from back home into Canada, I am now good for nothing , no use to this country.

The real question is Canada vs Florida because the U.S. consists of many mini countries that have agreed on a common constitutional document and basic laws but otherwise are different countries. With that said Canada loses on every metric that matters to Florida. From economics to taxes to business to self defense and personal property Florida wins. The U.S. is secular but politicians of all nations will bring it up to some degree thinking this is somehow unique to the U.S. means you don’t understand the U.S. When it comes to political and religious diversity the U.S. has a larger population consisting of the entire world its by definition diverse. Canada doesn’t have sensible gun laws it just leaves those who can’t defend themselves at great risk.\n\nCrime is high in cities that have laws & culture closer to Canada than they do the U.S. Which have the strictest gun laws in the country. It’s bad politics & culture which are most similar to Canada that has resulted in higher crime rates. \n\nGun laws in the U.S. are for Americans to have the option to fight against a tyrannical government like we have scene in Canada with the truckers and mass freezing of bank accounts. That is what the right to bear arms was for first and foremost not just self defense. Canada ignores this entirely and instead has the perspective of give the government all the power and expect government to be “good” and act in good faith to the people which it has continually failed to do so. Canada has to bribe Quebec just to keep its country together something that has been an issue since the founding of Canada is parts of it breaking off due to tyrannical federal government power abuse.\n\nFreedom comes with risks but it’s always better to be free.\n\nPeople who leave the U.S. for Canada are doing so for political reasons otherwise they can leave their blue progressive crime filled cities for free cheap safe red states.\n\nI encourage all Canadians to search moving from Canada to Florida and you will find many Canadians that realized the American Dream. My perspective is a bit different…I grew up in Canada, I lived 4 years in Toronto, 1.5 years in Waterloo, 14 years in Ottawa and 3.5 years in Calgary…overall, just little over 23 years in Canada. I graduated from University of Waterloo and Masters from University of Ottawa. I have a strong educational foundation from Canada, which I am very proud of. I moved to Houston, TX in 2016 and my last 8 years of living in US has nothing but AMAZING!!! While living in Canada, i was never able to save any money. In my last 8 years of working and living in US, I am 90% done paying off my mortgage on a very nice 5800sq feet house in Sugarland, TX. I owe very nice 2024 Lexus and 2023 Mercedes SUV that I can only dream of in Canada…so Canada is good in so many thing (I do have a soft corner for Canada in my heart as I grew up there) but when it comes to opportunities and life style to its full potential…USA is way ahead of the game.

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. Lived in India for 31 years and done 100's thousand kms in good old Maruti Suzuki, most of the public/private bus and truck drivers are A holes in India. There are lot of A holes on our freeways/motorways as well but the %age is lot less. If anyone is seeking for a commercial license in North America from other countries, they have to go thru strict training else there will be high speed moving freaks. There is no concept of stop sign in India.

I have friends in the Philippines that wish to move to Canada and all this info plus what I go threw here is good info for them that canada isn't as good anymore as it once was and is very hard to live in and is said from all around canada that more are locating from here to some where else.

Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. It will be getting worse and worse in the coming future, believe or not. Good luck new Canadian immigrants.

The councilman suggests to explore other parts of the world, make settlements & establishments, steel the wealth, enslave the people, so that we can be lazy and enjoy our lives. The king says, ‘It sounds fun and interesting, let’s enforce it’.\n\nPart 2: Many ships sail all across the world, and found many lands for their quest. Upon reaching the shores, they started saying ‘Hey dude! We were passing by and thought we could rest here for a while.’ The natives are very welcoming and treat their guests with utmost respect, gave place to stay, put food on their plates, shared the roof so that they can be comfortable. After few days, ‘Hey dude! We think we could trade and do business’. The natives as usual, without knowing the real intention, agreed to them with goodwill and great heart. A few more days later, ‘hey dude! You guys or not competent enough to govern your self. So we will take the charge moving forward’. The natives were astounded with these actions. \n\nWhat happened next was the darkest periods in the history.\n\nPart 3: My king!! Mission success!! There you go with ships full of different form of wealth, materials, valuables, spices, and most importantly hard working men as slaves & women for our ***** needs. Those who turn against are imprisoned, beaten, tortured and killed for fun as they can never become the wealth. \n« « \n\nThis went on for centuries until the colonizers extracted till the last drop of the wealth. And, guess what, they didn’t want the natives to live in peace. So they made sure to land mine enough troubles to ensure that the natives live in hell for the rest of their generations and always be a third world nation.\n\nWhat else they did… \nWhich religion do you practice you brown rubbish… ‘we follow …. ‘ no no no, you are going to follow this *** moving forward.\nWhich language do you speak… ‘we speak ….’ No no no, moving forward you will speak E****, S*****, P*****, F*****. And for every other things.\n\nUnfortunately, what the colonizers didn’t foresee is that someday, the same natives would overcome all the hurdles with their hard work and determination to overshadow the colonial past, and to succeed past the so called colonizers.\n\nIf the Brits hadn’t colonized India, probably Indians wouldn’t be immigrating to Western English speaking nations. Most likely they wouldn’t have learned English. Oh wait, if they haven’t colonized any part of the world, we wouldn’t have seen these English speaking western countries and have no problem with the immigration issues. \n\nCan we change the past??? Unfortunately, nope! But karma always kicks back in. What was done in the past, comes back 10 folds in the future.\n\nLast thing I want to say is that I no way means to support the bad things. I believe that we are all humans, not that being white is a privilege and being black as underprivileged, undermined,………It was funny to see in the video that people still differentiate and being proud for being white. Being a brown person is in fact a good thing medically. \n\nWe all need to find means to live in harmony and not create nuisance or bother others, be it an immigrant, outsider, natives, local, westerners…..\n\nLet’s make the world a better place to live in peace and harmony. There are no reasons to move to the United States. Yes, your climate is better, but Mexico is just as good.

And also in the end there isn't much consumer protection in the US. Many businesses have quite shady ways of getting your money out there. We feel a lot safer financially in Canada although there are breaches here too sometimes. I believe you need to make a good combined $300,000 depending where you live in order to make a good living in the US but the only reason why I would move really is for the climate although I would move to Mexico before moving to the US because generally speaking, Mexicans are friendlier. Very generally speaking.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth
