There is more to this story than this report says. It’s complicated. I have seen behaviour of students once here. How much support they get from families? If they have to pay their tuition , housing and other living expenses they seem to have to work more than what they are allowed. Overcrowding of homes lack of housing spots not gaining knowledge and skills required. Fine tuning reason for need for immigration and developing qualities in immigrants that countries vye for. Changing the composition of population should not be the problem. Creating conditions for getting the right fit is needed. Point system was good I think but too slow to fill the gap of people needed. Municipalities and province are also to be accountable. How do they manage the fast changes. This student route to immigration started less than a decade ago. I find the speed with which housing needs increased mushrooming of colleges increased and beneficiaries of facilitators that responded to market demands have I think created the problem. A grass roots observation. Seeing just a portion of the problem.

Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Who will do Uber… Please dont hate, just like any human we would love to be respected and we are not going to take back anything from Canada. Thank you

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. What a surprise that you found MY province of Quebec the best to live in. I do speak French which is a necessity for most jobs. Compared to Paris and Germany where I lived for several years, our weather is very sunny...even in winter with its blue, blue skies and glistening snow. And the 4 season climate is perfect except I'd rather winter be shorter.

There is a reason for this, even though I think doors should be open to anyone that wants to become canadians.\nThe reason being there is not enough housing. And that is throughout Canada. There is a lack even for people who already live here.\nThey took too many immigrants compare to many other countries. But the provinces did not put money on housing for many years. Why canada taking workers from outside because skilled workforce are not sufficient to run the businesses at canada. In between May 2024 to Dec 24 nearly 536505 work permits are set to expire who were invited to work under INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAM. 70000 temporary permits of students also expired . If government is strict and the businesses of Canada not required these workforces then why they are not deported from canada. Only in sept 24 ,86000 work permits under international mobility program will be expired . After complaint of businesses of pnp provinces expired work permits are now going to be extended. To control emigration government should act strictly. Easy pr for Asylum seekers and refugess are the reasons for this crisis at canada.

I thought the whole concept of Canadian immigration is to seek new settlements in other provinces that are lacking population. I wonder if the government are doing that to put immigrants in those provinces and to build a strong Canadian society, with a strong-hold economically throughout the country. But that includes having the immigrants agreeing to setup bases in rural areas that needs a build-up. It's literally a settlers 2.0. But I see that as an escape from another place that has nothing. No is pressured to doing anything, it's just being transparent in what will happen. And in another way, the citizens of Canada will see it as giving into the country.

They don't want to pay tex in India, they don't want to reply their lons, they don't want to work, everyone plan to settle down west by hook or crook, human trafficking, drugs, extortion and contract killing is very common in these people. They are racist with their fellow India on the base of religion, skin color, and language if anyone understands punjabi you can find how they promote cast superiority in punjabi movies and songs.I want to say canadians dont let them settle down in your country otherwise they will make Canada a third world country .

Canada specially British Columbia is full of people from India and China. There are many economical sectors where everybody working is from India like private transport, taxis, 7 eleven, supermarkets and big retail stores. In the last 10 years the province became an Indian colony. Is this bad? Not sure because the economy is still dominated by big monopolies who have privileges from the Canadian government. I;m Indian and I love Canada though I have never been there - let me tell you what you did wrong. Canada let in 100,000 fake students mainly from Punjab, Haryana & Delhi. They are not students, they just want an easy way into Canada, get PR and then citizenship. They can't speak much English and they don't care. They want to spread as much as they can. There are fraud agencies in these areas of India that help them get fake documents and fake IELTS scores that get them to Ontario and join some two bit college in the province. And I have to say that there seems to be a huge bias in India as well as it seems in your government in letting Punjabis migrate freely, while the rest of us have to prove ourselves.\nI'm happy that Canada is toughening up but get rid of the fake ones that have already seeped in. Living in Ontario and visiting BC many times I have notice more and more elderly Indian individuals. I been to hospitals in both province's and I see more then ever elderly Indians requesting health care. I wonder to myself how many years have these elderly Indians pay into the health care system. I don't want anyone without care but those who have worked in this country for 50yrs have paid into the system. So is it right that those who have paid into the system have to wait for care do to ones who haven't paid into the system?

I see the 'housing' that's going up in Langford, BC the fastest growing city in the province... Makes me think of the 'projects' for broke single transient young adults who will never have children.
