One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

I am an Irish man that moved to the U.S.S.A twenty years ago. And my ass and all my other bits and pieces are now ( Thanks Christ be to Jesus) back in Ireland. America is not a country its a business. The most God dam cold vacuous depressing soulless place on this planet. Land of the fee and home of the slave. An open air prison with so many God dam rules and regulations it will make your head spin. Thank feck I have traveled . I have been all around Europe and South America, and a little to Africa. And I can say hands down. You don't live when you are in that God forsaken country Amerika. You exist. Nobody has any time. Nobody talks to or trusts anyone. The only time someone talks to you is if they want to sell you something. It's the land of fake smiles and fake personalities. They are void of any sense of humor, and please don't get me started on the woman. They are co co co colder than a witches tit. The cost of living is ridiculous. The cost of housing a joke. Most people working two jobs, just for basics. The food in the grocery stores is utter shite. You are taxed up the gill and you get nothing for it. I could go on and on and on for days about this. On a positive note however, it does have a lot of airports if you want to get the feck out of there. Oh and the elections are fixed. I voted with my feet and left. Life is to short to live in a shit country!

Brother, You are so right! But, I am a african American who grew up in the 70’s. It wasn’t like this until blacks integrated with whites. We had fun in our neighborhoods just like you described. Any neighbor could correct us. We could just go to the neighbors house to play. I grew up in Chicago and we had block parties with dancing, games, food sand talent shows. We played games in the street after school. When we left our black communities we had to behave like whites who don’t want to socialize with us. That’s what you see where you live. So they suffer and stay inside their houses. I left Chicago for university and moved to Newark, New Jersey and it was life there too! So many cultures, people walking, languages, music, vendors on the street. Puerto Rican’s, Haitians, Dominicans, and Africans. You should be some place like that. But many places in America “now” are boring like where you showed. Move!!!

This is mostly true for the caucasian people you won't see them out on their front yards, they are on the back yard, not the black people in America,and he didn't tell you if he's in a caucasian neighborhood he could be killed walking around the neighborhood, they don't like for people walking around videotaping, they are very suspicious of black people period, so if you come to America, know your area, you're black get with black unless a caucasian family has invited you to live with them.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I had no idea there was slavery in Canada. As a kid, I remember taking school trips to points along the Underground Railroad. This gave me the impression that Canada was a country that slaves could escape to, to find freedom. It’s astounding and distressing that we are not taught the full truth of history. (Another recent revelation for me: Columbus never actually landed on the shores of continental America. The distortions and omissions we’ve been subjected to in our so-called “education”!)

Since the year 2000, the cost of owning a detached home has risen 10 folds. You could buy a corner lot house in a nice area and good location for an average of $160,000. Now that home would cost 10 times that cost in the last 20 years. Why? Foreign investors and immigration based on supply and demand as this also includes the increase in rent cost. People spend on average about $1000 to 1500 for a room to rent not their own suite in Vancouver. Twenty years ago, you could rent a whole house with a yard for that price on the waistcoats of BC. \n\nAnother issue, there are Canadians who do travel to USA due to people being in desperate need of care. USA has a wider spectrum of medical options in comparison to Canada. Canadians travel to USA because the waiting list is often way too long. Canada is nota complete free medical system as people hear and rehabilitation expenses are not free unless it is inside a hospital. It was from at one time as Medicare was founded on the grounds in the 1960's by Tommy Douglas, former premier of Saskatchewan, who initiated Medicare but it was no sustainable. \n\nJust because a person gets referred to a doctor, particularly a specialist when there are very few doctors in that area of care, it does not guarantee you will receive the treatment. I waited 2.5 years for a treatment in a hospital, only to be told that I was not a candidate for that treatment even though they did not screen me as a precursor before making a rational decision. DEVESTATING! Canadians if they have money often go to USA or Mexico when in desperate need. \n\nThere is a lack of doctors as many people do not have a family medical doctor who know their case personally. Complex diseases do not receive proper care as Canada does not have an integrated medical system of care amongst other doctors for patients. It has been on the news media where people have died being on the waiting list, returning back to hospitals where the hospital emergency because the concern of the disease was undermined with the overcrowded medical system.\n\nThere is a increased gentrification in the metropolitan cities that is an issue as the richer are now richer and the poorer are more poor. As there is an INCREASED immigration there is a huge stress in cost of living as there is not enough affordable housing and increased homelessness in Vancouver and Toronto. Vancouver is the worst place in North America as it is known as the drug hub called Skid Row. You can google this information as there are article written for 2021 and previously. Expo 86 and the 2010 Winter Olympics skyrocketed tourism and immigration that many people who are born and raised here before 1986 are very angry and resentful of how drastic the decline of how the quality of life has become.

You’ve been in an English speaking country for awhile. So why do you need to communicate via Spanish? You should’ve learned the language by now. Ive actually living in America applied for a job in Cooperate American. I applied with real name education and work history. I was VERY qualified if not Overqualified...i applied using a different variation of my name amd using my mothers maiden name, and got the job after interviewing with a different supervisor. Once i showed my ID for tax papers etc. I was called into the office on my orientation day amd was told that i wasnt hired using my real name and could not continue employment. Well i wasnt silent. 8:17 BEST BUY Hello people Just before the COVID 19 pandemic struck our Country, in the United States of America. My son and I were shopping at Best Buy. We had more than five or six different people ask if we needed assistance. My Son would say no thanks, and I would ask each one that did ask if I needed help, to help me. That associate would show me where to look, then try real hard to get away from me. This happened at least five to six times. All six times, I said yes. Finally, they stopped asking me and continued to ask my son. The reason my son would say no thanks is because he was just looking. I, on the other hand, had questions about what I wanted to buy. They did a great job answering all of my questions, however, when it came to buying what I wanted to buy most of all of the associates had either left the area or went home, because I could not find anyone when it came down to purchasing the items I wanted, only to find out what I wanted was made in China, They no longer carry the product, in their stores, or online. However, they still had the items on display; however, you just could not buy them. P.S. We are white.

I'm a white guy who lived in another country that wasn't a white majority country. There is discrimination in western countries, but there are ways to deal with it. The discrimination I had to deal with every day was much more than this, but nobody wants to know about that. The way I lived for those several years was to realize that I was different and I just had to maximize dealing with good people and when I knew that I would have to deal with something like having to get an apartment, I took that countries national with me knowing I would get a better deal. I was grabbed by officers at night and threatened. basically whatever is faced here, I had on a regular basis. At first, it pissed me off, but later, I came up with a way to maximize my life to get the best treatment I could. I didn't think I would be coming back to America, but eventually, I came back for more schooling and ended up staying.

Tried to bring my Central American Wife of 15 years, my 9 year old daughter, and my 20 year old stepdaughter {university scholarship} to Canada. Tried for 3 years when I went back to Canada to give us a better future. Now back in Central America with my family. Poor, but together. Too bad they were from a decent country and not a shithole so they could claim refugee status. Or Muslim.

I feel that first world countries left many countries behind. Instead of helping them move up in the world...we just used them for what we could and kicked them to the curb. Now everyone wants to leave their country and come to America or Canada or Europe or Australia..we did this to ourselves...

Interesting that the would-be Canadians in this video did not appear to speak English or French with any level of fluency. If you were planning to leave your home and establish yourself in Central or South America, you'd learn Spanish or Portuguese to an intermediate level so that you could communicate/understand clearly, land and advance in a job, have the ability to navigate your geography and make informed decisions. (Are you comfortable that this gentleman as depicted in this video would accurately understand his choices should he be allowed to cast a ballot in the next election?). Several of my ESL scholars have learned enough to function very nicely on their own in less than 2 years. It is not an impossible task, but it is part of the deal with immigration and it is essential.

Seems like a devoted Dad and a willing worker...but if he had the money, why not enter the U.S. legally? Sounds like he could have afforded it, and the wait is just as long in Canada, with no guarantee. These people from Mexico and Central America should take the steps to immigrate legally. People do it every year.

every G7 country has a great economy right now, esp the US, ditto China, but Russia's is crippled by an overdependence on oil (when oil prices halved 3 years ago, Russia was F$CKED) and G7 sanctions over the annexation of Crimea. Living in Latin America is not that bad, well there are parts where you should avoid at all cost but there are places where you can have a safe decent life, most of you just say what comes out of your small little brains without ever even leaving your city your whole life. Its just that this people have lived and been so dependent from your system and in stretching their hands( beg) all this time that they not know what to do now. \n\nHe said that he wasted 15 thousand dollars in lawyer, if it would have been me I could have perfectly moved to lets say Costa Rica or Peru and still have money to buy land. If I was South America I’d stay in my country, work & have as best a life as I could with what’s there. The American dream isn’t for non Americans to dream about or let alone Canada. I'd like to address this to the woman who went to one of Trump's rallies dressed as a Moslem with her head covered with a scarf and having a sign that reads, 'I come in peace'. I don't know why she was asked to be escorted out, but by her own words the people in the crowd were throwing questions at her as to whether she had a bomb under her cloak. Well, whether she knew it or not, she provoked the crowd by wearing the mark of a Moslem - her cloak. Also, by going to the rally dressed the way she was, she knew before hand that she'd be treated that way. On her part, I see that as provocation. Had she gone plainly dressed or attired like everybody else, there would have been no adverse reaction toward her. I don't know what she could have said why she was asked to be escorted out, but she fully knows that the whole of America had been given the real and true picture of Islam - one of terror, murder, beheading, bombs, war, and blood. How do Moslems expect the most compassionate, kind, benevolent people in the world to act? So, please, use your common sense and do not see America as the enemy, the aggressor, or the provocateurs. They're not. They are just being vigilant knowing that the enemy could be so sly, cunning and untrustworthy. Islamic people,we welcomed you to our country. Don't think that we are not watching you. We have given you a new start for a happy life compared to the life you have had in your native lands, but we are guarding against an invasion that your evil governments have designed for our beloved country.
