As an American I believe ALL Canadians should boycott US products and spending in the USA. This is not how the USA should treat its allies and friends. Now Canada will never trust the US and things will escalate. To all those commenters that say the USA has the upper hand and will win this battle, yeah maybe so but that's not how you treat allies and in the end the common man on both sides of the border will suffer. Trump's rationale of the border security issue to Canada is totally false as less than 1 percent of drugs and illegals come through Canada. Trump is just being a bully to try to get his way on tariffs for what he thinks is an economic decision to improve the USA. Unfortunately he is again wrong as Americans and Canadians will pay a lot more for goods and Trump will cause more inflation, ruin companies and many job losses across both nations.

I have not researched the Deportation of African immigrants, so I can not speak on it as much, But I do know what the deportation of Mexican Immigrants will do. It's going to have a ripple effect. Big American businesses will be unable to get cheap labor in various fields, such as construction, janitorial, landscaping, and many other areas of work Mexicans are giving American businesses. On every corner is a homeless Citizen or a Veteran sleeping on the sidewalk unable to get any sort of assistance, housing is scarce and rent is high, while many working Americans can barely afford to put food on the table, keep the lights on and pay rent?? \nThis is NOT ok. The United States has full surveillance commercialism. That means that Canada Customs could theoretically pay to find the answers to questions like: Does this person have a tendency to criminality or violence? Quick, Americans should stock up on coffee from Colombia ($1.5 Billion); cut flowers, bulbs, live trees ($1.6 Billion); mineral fuels, oil, distillation products ($7.2 Billion); pearls, precious stones, metals, coins ($1.9 Billion); and another 100+ products that make up another $10 to $12 Billion of annual imports. So, 50% tariffs on the total imports with Columbia would mean American importers of these goods would pay an additional $10 Billion which...of course...adds to their 'landed cost of goods' and gets passed on to guess who? The end consumer.
