As an American, i always want to support my country, but when they are attacking an ally and friend for absolutely no reason, i have no choice but to hope that Canada stands strong against Trumps bullying.

Trudeau has proven to be a superb leader. It’s such a shame that people lost faith in him during Covid because he’s always been working hard to keep Canada safe and strong ??

???????? here,If there’s one thing I learned in university as a political science graduate, and I did take a US government course was part of my degree. I thought that there were so many checks and balances on the president of the United States, but seeing his actions, I am very confused at how he is not being questioned for his mental stability and his actual ability to lead your country I mean to what degree is the definition of treason not applied I don’t understand how the president of the United States can now align himself with Russia and destroy allegiances with friends and allies This is not seen as treason?\nTo my American readers… just remember the United States knows no better friend than Canada….. so does any of this make sense? How is it that we are the enemy now and your president wants to support Russia is he a Russian operative? How are you not removing this guy from power where are all these checks and balances that you always bragged about through my entire life ?

People power always wins in the end.I feel the true American people will turn on trump and put an end to all this nonsense.as a law abiding English man I defend our friends In Canada.

Canada was off my radar for many years, always regarded it as a peaceful US neighbor and an ally of the free world. Now the current affairs ignited my admiration for Canada and will be lasting forever.This reinforces the fact that Canadian lives lost in WW2 will not be in vain.

Trade wars always comes before an actual war (happened before WW1 and America waged a trade war with Japan prior to WW2). I predict America will be invading Mexico first in a blitzkrieg and then when the US economy is in a war economy it'll try to invade Canada. Heck Trump has already stated as much when he said Canada will be the 51st state of America.

It's pure jealousy from Trump and his cronies. Canada always was and always will be a much better country than the US ever was or will be.

México nowdays has a efficient, knowledgeable. and honest president that wanted to have fair trade agreements with Canada and the United States ...however the US government choose to fight and blame the neighbors to the north and south by braking every single rule of the free trade among the three countries ......CHINA , CANADA AND MEXICO ....oviously will retaliate the same way and Definitely the US citizens will be the most hurt ....mexico always have been resilient from wars. Pandemics , bad politicians , economy , etc etc etc ....mexicans have the strength to recovery sooner than later and this one won't be diffrent .....mexico will continue to have agreements with Europe. I live near the Canadian border,and stand with Canada on the reciprocal tariff increases. This was not necessary,but Trump is always looking for a fight. My state will suffer with job losses as automobiles are our main industry. Reciprocate and do it hard because my countrymen were wrong to put Trump back into power. Redamdiculous!

As a European American, I can truly say that I am embarrassed, shocked and disgusted by the actions of the Trump administration against our allies and partners across the world. 99.9% of American loves Canada and I am one of them!!! Stay strong because we have always overcome evil together!!!

there is a reason why america can slap with tariffs we trade in USD and the fed can print USD. Canada cannot. So when you slap with tarifs Trudeau you will get massive inflation, America can always buy since we trade in USD. Meanwhile value of debt goes down in the USA.

I am from Romania EU and i wish for a PM like Trudeau. I admire Canada and always thought Canada is a great country. Many of my friend's moved there and every time i speak to one of them always telling me how great the country is and how smooth the things are going when everybody gets to a common front

The tariffs on Canada and Mexico are not about what they are doing now. The tariffs are about what OUR FRIENDS????? allowed to happen for the last 4 years. They silently witness how illegals invaded our country and how they allowed the Mexican cartels to take over the borders. Many of our young people died to drugs and illegal criminals. Many of our law enforcement died and were kicked by illegals. OUR FRIENDS?????? watched without action and NOW!!!!! they want to play the victim card.
