India has 1.4 Billion people and Canada has 40 million. So Canada has less that 3% of India's population. A program where there is open unllimited immigration from India will completely wipe out Canadian civilization. Any intelligen person ought to be able to see this. Heck they should have seen it 20 years ago. I did and I'm not even Canadian. But then again Canadians voted for the current PM.

AS Canada cuts back on immigration I'm doing 10,000 pushups with 6 cases of full beer on my back.

When I couldn't even invite close relatives to visit, and with no strong reason for denial but the only supposed trend by other visitors to stay their visit, I felt really disappointed and even wrote the Federal Minister of Immigration back then. That was over 10 years ago. Around the same time, I saw whole families from South Asian countries coming. And then I saw more, and then more. Older people pop up in family neighbourhoods. Then I asked why, what's going on here? I'm also sure that there has been a very biased immigration process throughout.

I'm an immigrant who came here with my family on a sponsorship program in 2008. Never got in trouble, worked two jobs and busted our asses off to get the citizenship in 2014. I support post secondary schools charging more to immigrants and foreign students. My university that I’m currently at charges a $2500 registration fee to international students. I a Canadian born citizen do not pay anything to register. I only pay for my classes. My university is also made up of mostly foreign students by charging foreign students more. It allows Canadians to be charged less so yes, I support schools charging more to foreign students.

I have cousins who are illegal immigrants, I’ve been trying to sponsor my wife to come here legally and it has been the most dreadful process I’ve ever been through. Meanwhile these guys are here already receiving food stamps and housing. I make 220k a year. I pay my fair share in taxes and don’t need any government assistance. I’m definitely for returning illegals that are jamming the immigration system.

i'm happy there are people here who agree, but having your voice heard only as a youtube comment is not the answer. do you know how countries in europe managed to get ahead in healthcare? patients went to the press with recorded videos about their experience. and yes, initially the journalists dismissed this as non news, but it only needed one to go with it. and it made waves. now a 2hr wait in the ER in europe is met by the tv crew. \ncanadians refuse to do it. when i came to canada 25 years ago a 2hr wait was normal. now it's 9hrs and still no discontent voices. no politician is running on healthcare, but on cutting taxes and on giving back a few hundred dollars a year back to the families. and most are eating it up! \nbecause healthcare is public, doctors and their union have 0 incentive of allowing more professionals into the system, because they all share the same pie. there are families who do not have a family doctor and are forced to use clinics, even with newborn babies. my family doctor works a regular job, doesn't answer the phone after 3:30 (even though they are open until 4), has 2-half days (one is a golf day btw) and overall couldn't give a F about patients. on that high salary in any other industry, you'd be on call 24/7. \nand then there's housing, jobs, the education system is a mess - more and more people are worried about what these kids are learning and there is 0 incentive from any of the politicians to address the issue.\nand, of course, there is forced immigration. when we came it used to be a merit system, you had to bring in money to prove you won't be a burden to welfare for at least a year. it's definitely not the case now. \npeople look at PP as some kind of saviour, but he's not going to fix anything. usually conservatives are good for corporations, whilst liberals balance their policies with the needs of the common folk. how far they've fallen.

I find it remarkable that the pew is saying there is a total sum of 11 million when we know by 2023 that 12 million illegals under Biden alone has come. if that doesn't prove that graph or pew are lying stats I don't know what is. I remember I'm in my 30s I rememebr there being like a million illegal immigrants come in each year since 2000 sometimes you would have more. Now unless they somehow decided to magically leave or you magically amnestied an additional 30 million people on top of the 12 that just came in 3 years prior not counting this year. You really did a piss poor job here of distinguishing the difference between legal and illegal immigration. I'm completely on board with legal immigration (within reason). The US is a nation of immigrants. That does not, however, mean I support it being an open field day at the borders for illegals to come pouring into the country completely indiscriminately and unchecked. Stop conflating illegal and legal immigration.

I’m not a crazy Trumper when I say this, but IMO you all should put a retraction or correction. I come to TLDR for fair and unbaised news. But the confusing of “illegal immigration” and “immigration” misleads people to believe that Trump is against ALL forms of immigration, which no one believes.\n\nTLDR, if you don’t think it is misleading, then I think you all should work on communication. To all those supporting the cracking down on these ‘illegals’ there’s something I need to know. Tell me, if they folks had an option to immigrate legally, would they? Do you think it’s some kind of malicious effort to come here against the law, or are they coming here out of desperation? Many of these people come from places like Haiti, Colombia, or Guatemala. Places that the CIA and American tax dollars destroyed. As a long time follower of this page... it's time to unsubscribe. You should be able to differentiate between immigration and illegal crossing of the border. I'm a master's student at a top university in the US, my dream is to be staying here LEGALLY and after years of work I want to build my own family and company here. My background is checked before I came here and I'm entitled to the laws here. Unfortunately the situation is really bad with illegals as they have no papers, they can literally go away with everything. They don't pay taxes, they commit crime and don't face the consequences. A guy from my programming class told me his best friend's sister was r*ped by an Afg*n criminal and he's still out in their neighbourhood.

I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

Father I am holding on my opinion on this kind of sweet crises. Let me talk here. For this new government they eliminate all illegal immigrants. Becouse the loves of heavenly father I will not move the illegal people in the US. Why. And another thing she don't realize is. They don't just come to your house and say okay. You guys get together and get your stuff. We're gonna put you in a bus and take you back to the border. No, they violently arrest you like your criminal. And throw you in jail for months sometimes years at a time waiting to be deported. I saw it with my own eyes in 2019. I was locked up in Colorado. I watched them raid construction sites hospitals. Numerous other businesses arresting hard work in Mexican people. Imagine all the nurses and workers at hospitals that are from other countries. I watched them arresting nurses. Arresting tab drivers Uber drivers. I watched them raid schools and arrest children. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

Canada should take care of their homeless people first before accepting refugees from the United States since Trump won the election where he will deport any illegal immigrants. My question is: How did these illegals obtain jobs? I’m sure Trump had illegals working for him. Does Trump realize that businesses will suffer when these people are deported because there won’t be anyone hired to do their jobs? Sending these people back to where they came from will cost the tax payers millions because Trump certainly won’t be paying for their fares.

Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. I want to both keep my culture, but also teach others about it. And I'm thankful to live in a country that affords me that opportunity. And that's the glue that binds us together, and helps make immigrants accept the core values of the society they are entering (which, note, doesn't necessarily mean that people should have turkeys on thanksgiving... why not chicken korma, or sarma?)

I don’t care if they keep their customs. I absolutely care that they insist on me changing to fit their customs. I will not change. They are welcome to come to Canada but they need fit in. I’m sick of our politicians telling me I need to change to not offend the immigrants.

As an International student, though I moved to Canada a decade ago initially to look for a deeper meaning in life, I still kinda felt being scammed by the Government for spending a huge sums of tuition to end up with a useless diploma which leads to unemployment . I have contributed soooo much ?for Canadian economy for the past 11 years( actually my parents paid everything), but still neither me nor my family have received any benefits from this country so far. I don’t even have a family doctor, and my family don’t even want to come here so it’s just me alone! Still, I remind myself everyday that I ‘m not here to have a comfortable life , but to grow and to learn❤. Many people came to the US illegally. They got themselves sorted and now they hate immigrants. I'm an American they say. As they should. Though many can't even speak the queen's English properly like flotus-elect but their status is legal. Some of them will get the boot even with their legal status. I'm a latino straight from South America and I'm very happy. I REALLY don't get what you american liberals think of us. The only reason we are willing to leave our countries to live in the US is because you have a country where we can thrive. In order to go to the US, we go through the process and apply for visas and the green card. That's being honest. We don't want the country filled with illegal immigrants who jump the border. We left our countries in an honest way and we want the borders strong, so we can still have a country where we can thrive. Is it really hard for you to understand that? I hope that the people on Social Security/Disability & Medicare are prepared for your benefits to be slashed or nonexistent, because MILLIONS of those illegal immigrants are what's allowing you to receive your benefits. Illegals pay in around $96 Billion Dollars into Social Security and Medicare yearly... even though they cannot receive any of those benefits. I know if my benefits change, I'm going to be PISSED!!! Honestly I think the real problem is a smooth path to residency/citizenship. \nIllegal immigrants want to do it right but the system sucks and takes way too long.
