I'm an American who did not vote for the boar in the white house. I stand with Canada, Ukraine, Mexico, Greenland and Panama. Trump is behaving as if he made a deal with Putin to destroy the American economy and America's international relationships. We are making enemies of all our allies.

Kind of makes me want to be a Canadian after hearing this. Our reality show president has not one ounce of class compared to Canada’s leadership.

I don't know if this makes any difference or not because with trump and the fools in the republican party running things it seems like we have no say on anything. The fentanyl excuse is just that an excuse, trump wants to make money from tariffs to give a huge tax break to the billionaires in the USA including musk, he is not worried at all about fentanyl, he doesn't care about other people, but he does care about tax breaks for himself and the billionaires who support him. I support Canada and Mexico in this trump fiasco, and I hope Canada and Mexico really make trump squirm. trump knows tariffs will hurt the US citizens but he knows it will hit the Lower and middle classes the hardest, not causing him and the billionaires nearly as much trouble. The more I read the comments of different news articles, the more I realize that we as a world, and a species, want to be united as friends, hand in hand but our leaders are trying to keep us divided. I hope we make it through the next few years alive. And when this nightmare is over, I look forward to the world coming together, be they people of Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, Canada, and America.

Congratulations Mr. Trudeau, you finally sound like our Prime Minister should. Now start making this country self sufficient so we don't have to rely on anyone. No more selling off our Crown corporations our land and other businesses to foreign countries. Keep Canada Canadian and give jobs to born Canadians first. Stock pile our oil and gas for our use and lower the prices of these things so that transportation cost make things easier for business and personal enjoyment. Don't tax the farmer so that they can supply food to everyone cheaper. We should not be struggling in this country which has all the natural resources . The unnatural population growth has put a strain on the whole system and in some cases put us in danger too. The crime rate has increased in large part to your lax immigration system. All the businesses increased the prices of everything due to this unnatural population growth. Supply and demand is not working the way it is supposed to anymore. In a normal household we make plans and prepare for changes. You just said ok, let's bring people here and forgot about the preparations. Infrastructure first man. If your going to bring half a million people over here, build the houses first bro. Nobody in Canada should be homeless which is another result of poor preparation. It makes sense that you don't want this as you have been ripping us off for many years. All we want is free trade. What we have gotten is lopsided trade. FAFO. The USA has a strong leader now. We have plenty of options to fulfill our needs. A little bit of extra cost is worth it to bring our industry and jobs back here and rebalance our trade agreements. Canada was running a fentenyl superlab which manufactured enough to kill off its entire population two-fold! We don't want that trafficked through our border into the USA. I voted for Trump and a lot of his policies and actions I agree with, THIS one I do not, Canada did not let in NEARLY as many illegal immigrants as Mexico so it makes no sense why he is punishing them, and he isn't, he just doesn't like Trudeau probably because he was friends or friendly with Biden, same with Zelensky AND Canada wanted to ban products from red states for electing him which is frankly just a stupid policy. \nThis is not hard to figure out, Trump doesn't like Trudeau and Ford, plain and simple......it really is THAT shallow, he is trolling Trudeau by calling them the 51st state and anyone know knows Trump and how he thinks knows that.

Watching this speech, makes me so envious of Canada. Such a thoughtful and well prepared speech by an honorable leader.
