Wow! American here. I just scrolled through hundreds of responses, looking for idiots spouting maga talking points, and did not find a single one. This gives me hope. I just hope MAGA comes to their senses before our economy is ruined. Thank you, Mr. Trudeau, and thank you, Canada.

How can you speak against your President who has done nothing but look out for Americans to defend someone who would be so disrespectful to our country. Zelensky also stated that Americans will bleed for his country. Why would anyone defend this blatant hatred. President Trump has tried to give Zelensky what he needs not what he wants. All of these countries gather together to rally against POTUS because he won’t allow them to financially enslave Americans and use America as a personal piggy bank. Every single American who loves this country should have President Trumps back.

Are the tariffs fair to Canada? While I didn't vote for Trump... The idea that this will hit Trump voters almost makes the financial suffering I may have to endure worth it. I live near the Canadian border,and stand with Canada on the reciprocal tariff increases. This was not necessary,but Trump is always looking for a fight. In those mountainous rural counties you will come across poor grade roads with gates and chains at the entrance to hundreds of fortress compounds. They live too far away from any place to work so many of the carefully obscured building complexes, often jammed against sheer tall walls of rocks, have to be making something inside!

America…you’re getting taxed on all sides - Canada, China, and Mexico. These retaliatory tariffs are very strategic as well to hit you where it hurts the most. Your farms and food supplies are also going to get hit by lack of workers. I’m so worried for you. Fight back! This man is trying to destroy your country. Follow the money - where it’s being taken from (jobs, Medicaid, etc) and where it’s going TO (tax cuts for most wealthy, contracts for billionaires). The SAVE Act is trying to make it very difficult for minorities and WOMEN to vote. They are trying to basically take over so they can’t be put out of power, only the wealthy get educated properly, the poor go to military service, and they may even start looking at invading other countries.
