Forgot to mention in this video, how so many Indians are likely to abuse travel visa with the intention of permanently staying in the country they are traveling to under the guise of a tourist. Oh, so many of them creates nuisance here by not behaving properly in public. I think high visa rejection rate is pretty good to weed out bad actors.

I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.

No one wants to live in India? Why? Because average person has no rights of enjoying a free life from the corrupt governments in every state. People talking a lot of negative things in the comment section about Indians being this or Indians being that ?. I think the Indian Govt is ensuring that the passport stays weak. Otherwise, what's stopping the govt from flexing its economic power. The reason is, when its complicated to get a visa to travel abroad, it dissuades Indians from going abroad for tourist purpose and those people travel withing India and that money gets spent in India and boosts Indian economy, and when its complicated to move abroad for work or study, it helps reduce brain drain (but that also needs quality higher education and good employment opportunities to work in the country's favor; not going into whether that's the case or not).

I went through this twice during COVID. Two tenants stopped paying one after the other and lost over 50k. Sadly, the only option is to take her to small claims court but in order to do that you need an eviction order and sheriff documents. Even if he does get to that point, they can o lay garnish her wages and at that point, she can avoid paying and jump from place to place changing addresses info and job details. Professional renters know the system and they work it to screw the landlords. One tenant I had actually believed that if they rent the house they “own the home”. Even if you call the police they won’t do anything. If the government just allowed the police to arrest and charge these people I think it would help but they don’t. It’s horrible. I’m actually thinking of selling my home because of the financial burden it’s been post COVID. I have good tenants now but only after using most of the equity to pay off the damage and missed rent from the last 3 tenants….

Construction has slowed down here , no one can afford anything , I live in Guelph Ontario on the main floor of a house with three bedrooms , and paying $1800 , I'm one of the lucky ones because my good friend bought this house in 2012 and I moved in , I was paying $1300 up until he sold it three years ago in 2021 and the new owners jacked the price to $1600 for fair market value , we didn't think he could raise it that much but he was able to because of new ownership, as of now 2024 , almost $1800 still not bad for this area , the trick nowadays is to stay put anywhere you are

Canadian budget in 2023 was around 450 billion and they received Indian student 12 billion directly from Indian students. So Canada has taken a good step so that the erosion from India can be limited. As I didn’t have emergencies, I didn’t wait more than a month for specialists. Canadians don’t like travelling to get appointments sooner which is common in the US. \nMany here think emergency room wait times in the States is much shorter, but I’ve accompanied friends in New York State for treatment only to wait over eight hours. \nHere in Niagara Falls, Canada my ex had a kidney stone causing great pain. The wait time to get morphine and treatment was about 45 min. \nI got a colonoscopy in four days here. In the US I waited three months. \nNo cost or copayments, and there are no in-network requirements that I know of. \nI would not live in the US again. Visiting is just fine!

I appreciate your take. I believe Canada's key issue is that it is facing a cultural decay, which is not exclusive to Canada. Many countries in the west are challenged by similar things such as aging populations and unaffordability. \n\nIt works in a cycle: governments and corporations take turns screwing over the general population and most people cannot afford anything. Corporation does A then government does B; government does X then corporation does Y. On the surface, government is _trying_ to do a good thing, but it backfires quite often, leaving the average person feeling scorned. \n\nChief among these corrective measures was mass immigration, and because there was already a climate of indignation, the introduction of too-many-immigrants was a huge slap in the face. Instead of making sure Canadians were better taken care of, the government responded to the corporations--not the people. \n\nGDP numbers mean nothing to the average Canadian person if their quality of life is in decline. The only people still in favour of mass immigration are those who do not have to confront it on a day-to-day basis. Even Canadian-born (or even Canadian Citizens of 5+ years) minorities, think the immigration problem is too much.

I completely disagree with the international student english proficiency requirement to get a PGWP (i.e. for all international students). To get into any University program in Canada, you will need to pass an English Language proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL anyways. At least for my four years of an Engineering degree, three co-op terms and a full-time secured Engineering position, 8 months before graduation you would think this international student knows how to communicate in English :). \n\nYes, there are certain students who just want to get the PR and don't care about the degree they are getting and probably just passed with the minimum IELTS requirement. A solution would be to make certain degrees like college diploma students take the English Language proficiency test again and at least have a language testing system which is free for these people. Spending $300-$400 after spending so much on international tuition fee to graduate from Bachelor's degree is a good policy in my honest opinion.
