When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here. When we immigrated to Canada we had to pass english exams, health checks and paid a lot of money. We came here and are grateful to be here. We did not come here to demand that our culture and religion be respected. We gave this up. Apart from the huge deportation project being inhumane and fascist, why is nobody even mentioning the political prerequisite of readmission agreements? You cannot just dump thousands of migrants back on the countries they came from, especially if these are countries that are classed as dangerous and unlivable. Generally they do NOT take them back and even if there is a readmission agreement they will invoke other reasons not to admit them. Immigrants or refugees can also lawyer up and show that they will face prison, torture , persecution, war or starvation in their country of origin which makes it a human rights offence to deport them. I know this because I often interpret EU meetings on migration and asylum. Most immigrants can never be returned and would rather die or abscond than to return as a failed emigrant or be imprisoned, tortured, persecuted, die fighting or of starvation.

Your education cost double, housing is limited and expensive along with the hi cost of food and fuel for that expensive used car. Then you find out that you’ve been lied too by the brokers that got you here. And soon as you get your landed status, you get hit with the taxes! And if you have any children during your 5 years, the government tells you that you have to register them, so the government can create another bond, so they can borrow more money from the bank! The government gives you a birth certificate, but they own your children until you go to a court of law to get a certificate of custody! Because if you decide to leave after getting your landed status, the government may not allow you to take your children with you! Look up family court and custody law, once you get here, the government manages you on behalf of those who own you! You need to look it up for yourselves and understand that any western country that you goto is ruled by Rome. And if you came from a country that was once a colony of the British empire, you will get here a little easier, it’s a simple transfer because they have your record on file in the city of London. I was working DoorDash making about 300 and something dollars a day I was able to feed my family and pay my rent, then the legal immigrants came. They all had cars. They were all sitting inside of the parking lot waiting for orders and then I started to make about $60 for 12 hours of work I had to leave California and lost my place and could not afford anything!!! How did they get cars? How are they able to work here without proper documentation? Please get them out of here so I can get back to work. None of them could even talk to me and speak English.

Yes I voted for putting people who came here illegally back to where they came from yes correct. What’s the issue myself and Trump as well said LEGAL IMMIGRATION is a welcomed and needed thing. But don’t try to calm any fears keep on fanning the flames.

It's Not enough and this was Not Fair! We came here in this country and vetted for 6 years by Immigration and all proper education requirements met. My mom worked so hard to be able to come into this Country when I was 14yrs old, there were Rules and Criteria. Now, it's all a Joke. People can come into Canada without proper oversight and Money works. As long as you have huge sums to pay, they let you in, easily, 3months you get Permanent Resident status, we worked hard for 6 years, even doesn't matter if you're a criminal from back home, they let you in, as long as you have money. No proper Vetting process! What has this Current government done to this once great country? They ruined this whole Canadian immigration dream for everyone. My family feels angry and cheated on! My experience has been different. Came at age 48 with family mostly for children future. Initial struggle followed by more than 20 years full time work in a company owned by Canadian but most of us working immigrants from different countries. Had a wonderful experience working as a team. Company grew from 5 including owner to about 30 when I retired. Most of of my contribution was from skills I obtained on the job. The flexibility I got was help to spouse and children. The three of them achieved good outcomes. Taxes are high. I never worried about that as children had professional education with no financial help. Only my steady basic facilities provided as I had steady though lower income than what I had back home in relative terms. What we get back from taxes we pay in health civic facilities education for children is great return of taxes paid. What I got was quality living. No luxuries. My purpose of coming here more than fulfilled. Happy family. Grand children now enjoying higher quality of life than what I had or my own children had. I do notice recent trends of immigrants expectations not very encouraging. I have enjoyed the multicultural atmosphere friendship and regard for each other. My colleagues and I have been of great asset to the company we worked in.

Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students .
