Never would I become American the racism is horrible the guns and crimes are horrible I don't even like Landing in an airport in United States

As a black man living in Alberta you can stop with the ignorance right there. When it comes to racism I would much rather live in Edmonton or Calgary than literally anywhere in Ontario or Quebec. If this was in either of those provinces there would be way more than three people on site.

It's funny how many Caribbean people bypass America to move into Canada on the belief that there's less racism there. How's that working for ya.

I think the problem with many US attitudes is they have been brainwashed that they are the BEST in the world. Many have not travelled outside their country and still think that….based on what? When we have travelled to many places, Americans are not looked on favourably as tourists. Sorry, truth. Healthcare and US justice systems are broken and racism is rampant. I have “close” family living in US for over 25 years and now we don’t talk. They have been sucked into the Trump vortex, very sad.

Jews should just embrace their multicultural future. There is no ROOM in Israel for Racism. Israel is not going to be the monolithic society it once was. They are going into a multicultural mode. Racism has been caused due to Muslims, pushing more and more on the communities in which they are living. Wanting Sharia law. Trying to change the society and culture of the country they live in. \n\nIf it we people from a white Christian country tring to change the society, people would not like it. It has happened after thousands of ASIANS came to USA. Does that mean that USA was Asiaphobic? What happened? Asians didn’t try and change every aspect of western culture and civilization. Yet, they have no interest in learning about and adapting to Canadian culture. This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms. \n \nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)? \n \nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.

The racism goes both ways. I grew up feeling disrespected and mistreated by them (not all of them but a LOT of them). I try to be respectful and give everyone a fair chance, but it's really difficult when they are constantly being rude when I interact with them, or giving me death glares... like what did I even do?? I have been bullied by them in the workplace, and made fun of by them out in public. And for NO reason. I try so hard to be nice, but it's clear that so many of them hate me before I even open my mouth. I know a handful of them that are really awesome people though... but they respect the culture here in canada, and they treat all people like actual people.

Indians still suck up to white-skinned Westerners because of some messed-up inferiority complex, blowing all their savings and assets in India just to get disrespected by a white dude. They trash-talk India while hyping up Western countries, and honestly, I've got zero sympathy when they face racism-they totally had it coming.

Canada needs to pause immigration for now as the overwhelming numbers have diluted Canadian identity. Our Government destroyed the consensus on immigration. This is not xenophobia or racism - it is a recognition that the Trudeau government opened the floodgates to immigration (close to 1 million in one year!) with no checks or balances - immigration checks are backlogged, the system is abused and our social safety net is fraying, our housing has become unaffordable, and our communities are becoming siloed. This lady here goes down to the Oxford union debate in the UK and she said that indians globally are flaunting their passport, and now she is telling indians are being rejected by visa due to some bullshit reasons. The Henley pasport index ranks countries passports based on how many visa free visits are allowed for a countries passport and has nothing to do with paper works and racism. Indians are hypocrites. It costs an arm and a leg ($590) to be precise to get an indian visa from Nigeria and we are rejected alot. This amount is more than a schengen visa by more than half.
