1. Almost 2.5 million Indians are currently living there. The total population is 41.6 million, so about 6% are Indians. The total number of Pakistanis is around 500K, and Bangladeshis about 100K. 2. Out of all these, an estimated 1.5 million people are either overstaying or have entered illegally. 3. Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are also involved in illegal activities (I’m not defending Indians—they are also involved, I’ll come to that). If you ask them, many will claim to be Indians. You can see the same trend in the UK as well. The reason I’m mentioning them is because they have a similar appearance to Indians. 4. Almost half of the Indians in Canada are living there illegally. Why do I say this? Because here in India I personally know many people from Punjab and Haryana who go there. In both states, you can easily find many agents who reassure people that they can send them to Canada or the USA without much difficulty. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤

You can bring your culture as long as it does not infringe on the country and the people

We bring in to many Muslims coming into to our culture which they do not want to assimilate. They are praying in front of catholic churches showing the disrespect they have for us. If we dont paty attention they will take over as per their Koran to kill the infidels. We need to wake up and soon. English is the main language in most of the country and french in Quebec. I share the same sentiments as these Canadian citizens.I'm an immigrant myself, and it is our moral obligation, to respect the culture and Laws, etc. There are people coming from other countries, especially in certain parts of Asia, as if they are here to take over Canada. Welp, about a half an hour ago when I got home, I realized that someone broke into my apartment building and stole my shoes that were infront of my door. SHOES. last year someone broke in and stole my bike. The thing is, this area was NEVER like this. It was safe and people trusted each other. Guess what has changed? The amount of immigration in my city and in this area. I am terrified during the night that someone will break into my apartment since theyve been able to get into the building. My entire life I have always stuck up for minorities and all different groups that have been apparently marginalized. Now, after everything happening in my city, in the world, to the people I love and myself, I have had ENOUGH. I want these people out of my country. Trudeau and Jagmeet had a deal. What wad it? Since then this has become a huge problem. Don't expect the feds to fix this overnight. Stop immigration for 5-10yrs and hire a dept to verify ALL student visa, biometrics, overstays, etc. Start a dept to do surprise visits to all work establishments for documentation of all employees. Stop giving money away to refugees unless 100% verified to be actual refugee. Don't bring your culture to another country if you left your country. This is the scary truth. We Canadians are being purposefully victimized and our rights as citizens has been eroded since the last 5 years. Maybe it’s not too late if your government can figure out to modify some of the immigration laws that will give back the power, the benefit, and advantage to a natural born Canadian. 800 thousand foreigners coming in in the last three months? What’s with that? That’s so shocking. Looks like a legalized invasion/occupation. I’m like you, I was a legal immigrant from Asia in the late 70s retired now and love my great state of Indiana. My family has been here for almost 50 years fully acculturated to the values and culture of American life with my husband and two grown boys. This is my adopted beloved country now. I am everything that it is about. I still know how to speak my birth language only when I go home for vacation. I don’t use it even to speak to a fellow Asian when I see that an English speaking native born American is within ear’s reach. That young lady might be dead with brain tumor before she gets her MRI. How many Westerners living in Africa integrated with local Africans even after living there for centuries? Heard from my nephews who are studying in Canada. They see more foreigners than Canada. Do expect such foreigners movement. A lot countries have the same issue. It is happening to my country (Singapore) now. And it is frustrating that these foreigners do not bother to integrate into our culture. Sickening. They are here for their own benefits.

When I moved here 7 years ago, Canada felt like heaven. People were respectful, culture was strong, even Tims had great customer service. I was eager to adapt, made Canadian friends, worked in a church Downtown, Barrie to assimilate. Now it feels totally different, more chaotic almost third world in parts. Honestly, I don’t blame immigrants, I blame the laws. They’re too soft, and people take advantage. Refugee protection, settlement aid, multiculturalism sounds welcoming on paper, but in practice, they’re dragging the country down.

It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

Both Canada and Mexico have done everything to work together with U.S. - we are the 3 amigos and trade partners. I cant believe this is happening, hopefully it will all resolve each other. We are not enemies, we are the closest countries not only in geography, but in history, culture, and trade.

Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!

biggest difference is cultural, America is a country where people take risks and face hardships due to free will, Canada is a British colony and Canadians are still peasants, society is very complacent and obedient. I moved from USA to Canada, I live in Alberta which is a freedom loving province, but even here they bend over to the idea of monarchy and how important to support family of German pedophiles that lives in Windsor castle thousands of miles away.
