Let us be honest, Indian students go to Canada to become a PR or a citizen! Living standard for ordinary people in India is very poor! Like Chinese, Indians want to live in western countries and bring their relatives with them! Australia has become very strict with foreign students too! You cannot jump from student visa to PR or working visa! Overstayers in AUS will soon be deported too!

Watching this as a Canadian is like re-living a 4 decade nightmare. That noise we hear in the background..... A million chickens coming home to roost.

As a Canadian, I am more afraid of the people than their healthcare system. And I am chronically ill and would be homeless in America. You seem pretty cool, but living in a place where children have to train for school shootings. I heard they cant even wear light up shoes for their own saftey. Just their hate of immigrants and people in general. Its not the first time that I have heard an American say they want to shoot down all the aliens. Also, wtf! We know you live in America. If my country doesn't get housing costs under control they're in serious trouble. The average house in the town I live in is something like 900K and there's basically no local economy. With costs so high I can't afford to start a family. If we keep gaining old folks needing healthcare while keeping housing expenses high and wages low taxes will have to keep going up.\n\nI am not going to continue to pay huge portions of my income for the benefit of the elderly while I can't afford a decent lifestyle. I don't want to but it seems moving to the US or elsewhere is the only option if things continue this way. At list point the local governments are so invested in denying housing permits and abusing zoning laws to prevent housing being built that the only way to fix it would be to strip the provinces and cities of the right to decide their own zoning bylaws. \n\nI want to see a change in the constitution that makes zoning bylaws illegal. There are too many people thinking of their self interest and not of the Nations interest. We deserve to lose the right to decide what can be built in our neighborhoods. We have been abusing this right for too long

Canada needs to stop living beyond its means. Get rid of un-necessary ministries, involvements in private sector that isn't mandated. A Canadian DOGE would be good too, to look line by line to get rid of waste, abuse, corruption. Stop electing the Liberals which like the US Democrats just spend the public money to buy votes like a drunken sailor.

As someone living in Canada... I actually don't feel much of the things mentioned in the video. Sure, wages are not growing as fast as it can, but as someone who managed to purchase a home *before* the bubble started to expand, I'm living steady right now.\n\nWhat is REALLY causing a large part of the social and economic issues is actually the fact that provinces are NOT expanding new towns and cities in the millions of kilometers that needs to grow. Everyone is moving into cities, including refugees and new immigrants, which is driving up local prices and demand for everything. A few years ago, there were literally news of townships outside of the major cities offering houses and land for $50 per acre if people move to those towns and live there. \n\nCanada's biggest (heh) advantage is how much land it has. It's biggest weakness is how little comparative population it has. The worst problem is the concentration of population in like 6 keys cities throughout the entire country. If more people who complain about housing or social issues were willing to move outside of the major cities, they wouldn't have those problems.

Quick note for non-Canadians (or just Canadians who don't know). When he says a majority of the nation are homeowners that's kind of not what the data says. It defines homeowner as someone who lives in a house which is owner occupied. So for example, an adult child who can't afford to rent their own place and is stuck living in their parents basement is a homeowner. I can tell you right now they don't feel like a homeowner.

Who wants to live and have children in a country that costs more than New York and will look like Mumbai in 40 years. Waste of a once beautiful country with nothing but opportunity in the resources sector.

The pattern that we keep seeing over and over is to stop making the essential of living like housing an investment or everyone will get hurt by it.

So I decided I need to go get a mammogram. I contacted my GP and he gave me a referral within a couple of weeks. I had my mammogram. They didn’t like it within a week. They did it again. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free. I’ve gone from a double D to a B, which you know is better than dying. I am so happy that I live here.

None of them look like asylum seekers to me. They’re dressed fairly well. Hi I'm from Russia and I would say that mostly people who lives in english speaking countries they usually can only tell about wealth privilegues of having particular passport, offical status of their country and that's it. for my personal opinion the motherland is something that is more than that. I didn't travel much somewhere but I've been abroad and I would say - nowhere is better than here in Russia for me. And those people who just moved there to foreign counties from Russia as example they pretend that it's much better for them in completely alien country. that's a bull shit as I guess because each people is like a spider who since it was given a birth is spreading out it's net in particular place (their parents, friends, first love, lovely places, and etc) and since they moved somewhere all this NET will be torn for a long time or forever and never restored anymore. and for my personal opinion immigration is BULL SHIT and I would do it in a completely disparate situation.
