Immigration, without integration, is invasion.....islam is cancer....

To keep citizens a priority over the influx of immigrants and refugees Denmark had cut welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and refugees and many began leaving to more profitable countries (in benefits). Why has our country not put something like that in place? It definitely would sort out those who came for the 'freebies'.  ~ Denmark's ‘integration benefit'  measure was a significantly lower benefit level being offered to people who have resided in Denmark for less than seven of the past eight years. Foreigners will also receive a financial incentive to learn the language. These were 'integration benefits'. Citizens who have lived outside of the EU (or country?) for seven of the past eight years were also subjected to the new rules. The purpose, to make Denmark a less attractive destination while making it more attractive to work and contribute to Danish society.  It reduced the flow in to a more manageable number.

good way to screen immigrants...make sure they can speak one of the initial languages by the time of their interview. If you need a translator 5 years after you emmigrated to a country how could you be integrated into the society?

I really do not hate Islam. But those who immigrate to another country why is that so hard to integrate to their culture!? If you don’t like it well go back there you came form.

i am liberal but i agree with my conservative bretherin that he has been here in North America for more then 15 years and don't speak our language! like wtf????? I dont mind immigrants but learn to integrate FFS!

Immigration is the same word as integration which cause integrated diseases which is definitely unhealthy.

15 years in the US, doesnt speak English or seem to have integrated into western culture these are not the immigrants you want

If the so called leaders did their job, and protected the borders, and obeyed the law, these illegal immigrants wouldn't be in this mess, it's also hard for the ones who really wants to make a good life and integrate into society, when the law breaking illegal immigrants don't want to learn the language or integrate into American society and obey the law

I have zero issues with immigrants seeking a better life in another country, being one myself, but a few things about some immigrants baffle me always. How do people expect to be welcomed and accepted by the folks of another country when they don't even bother to learn the language. This guys been in the US for 15 years and can't speak any English? Its not the worse case , I've seen people live far longer 30 or 40 years in countries like the UK where I'm from and they cannot speak a word of English because they choose to live in a self imposed microcosm of the country they came from. \nThey have to understand that it's very insulting to native people and citizens of a country that you want to be treated as a citizen yourself but won't make efforts to adapt to the language and cultures of the country you have chosen to live in, I cannot think of a better way to ostracize yourself than failing to learn the language.\n It would be far easier to have sympathy for your cause if you are able to show that you have integrated and intend to be a citizen of that country 100% and the easiest way is to be able to communicate your cause yourself.

Some justice for people waiting sometimes years to legally enter Canada. Illegal immigration must be treated as it is: Illegal. And really? 15 years in the US and not speaking English; not a strong case for willingness to integrate

She doesn't feel safe?????? Really???? You're in the safest country in the world which is being ruined by the mass immigration. You're safer than you'll ever be compared to the countries where you come from. Dress how you wish, but remember you're in Canada - and we have a culture too so when you separate yourself , isolate yourself, and don't integrate into a Canadian culture of course you're not going to feel the same. Why do we even give these issues so much energy and power. Its not Harper that is telling women what to wear - its your Islam society and culture that tells you what to wear. Hence, why outsider women can't visit and wear bare skin in Islam countries without shame or even punishment.

just watched the national on the cbc and an muslim guest said that canadians are accepting, tolerant, kind, etc --- I ask why are muslims not? they do not seem to tolerate becoming canadian - accepting our customs and when confronted some of them are really agressive (but that's just my experience) ... and then there's MO, a good friend of mine (his name is mohammed but prefers Mo - he says it causes less problems in these times) why are immigrates against integrating into our customs - it seems to me our customs are pretty good. we don't believe gays should be thrown off buildings - we don't believe someone who steals should have a hand chopped off, we do not believe that an atheist should be decapitated. If you have a choice it seems you should choose to integrate. now you'll say my view is simplistic - but we complicate things too much - progess is mans ability to complicate simplicity (someone smart once said this)

what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

Islam is not a religion - its an ideology! The basis is in the Quran, Hadiths and in Sharia. Thereby Islam never can be integrated into a western society - thereby muslim immigration should be as little as possible.Listen to them - here we have freedom to use our hijabs etc - but truth is - if or when Islam becomes the majority there will be no freedom: no pork, maybe a slavelike form for Christianity, it will be beheadings, stonings of raped womens etc etc.We welcomed Islam into our countries - we have all seen what it brings.

At least our immigrants in America are Christians(Hispanics) they actually try to integrate into our society & they also fight(12% of the US military is Hispanic) in the military. I feel sorry for the UK. Maybe they should replace their Arabs with Hispanics.

Enough is enough. America, wake up over 500,000 Muslim/Refugees being relocated to the United States. Did you vote for that? Of course not. For the real truth Google “TheProjectMuslimBrotherhood” their secret doctrine to destroy America from within.  Guess what they are succeeding folks. One only has to look at England and France and Europe today, It is sad what Paris has become, mainly due to the Muslim immigration; take a good look at Europe and that is America in 25 years, unless something is done to prevent “theprojectmuslimbrotherhood” from making further inroads into America, our cities, schools, universities and even our own government.  Multiculturalism is literally destroying Europe. There are now over 700 “Islamic no go Muslim Zones” within England, France and Germany. \nMichigan, Tennessee, California and Colorado have so far most of the immigrants what State next? I have no problem with the “peaceful Muslim” that wants to integrate into our culture and follow our laws.  The problem lies in that they want to dominate and force Islam and Sharia law upon us all. Just not acceptable here in America folks. Stand up and be counted.  “When good men and woman our quiet evil always wins”  Forget about be labeled a racist, or being politically correct, multiculturalism is not good for America. Let them adopt to our culture, period Amen. Again for facts and truth Google “theprojectmuslimbrotherhood” speaks volumes on the intent to destroy us from within. Who will stop this “insanity” from becoming a reality in America? I actually integrated, firstly because I'm white and secondly because people were racist to me and it meant I wouldn't continue used stupid customs and generally be a d*ck who wouldn't fit in. You should be glad people are racist to you and you should also leave. Take it from a former immigrant who is disgusted by the immigration attitude.
