And I'm sure with some people coming across the border. There may be a sense of entitlement, but I would think for the majority, it's a sense of hope.\n I wish we could embrace every person. That is good coming across that border with open arms and tell them Hey, it's gonna be all right. It's gonna be okay for you and your family. But unfortunately we can't. It's a hard pill to swallow and it's a final thing to watch. People have to struggle that world is a very cruel place for some. And for others it could be very easy in a sense. I think sometimes we have to have empathy for other people. And if we don't have that we're never gonna grow as a human race. Color should never, ever be a barrier. Language should never be a barrier. The only barrier that we have is hatred and just evil people and good. That is, the barrier that we should be looking at if we ever want to grow into what God created us to be eyes need to be opened. These people aren't coming over here and take what we have. You're coming over here because they want something better for their lives. They have struggled most other lives. I'm sure they have seen death. I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. The United States has full surveillance commercialism. That means that Canada Customs could theoretically pay to find the answers to questions like: Does this person have a tendency to criminality or violence? Does this person pose a threat to children, law enforcement, or Canadian society? Is this person likely to be a burden on Canada's health care system?.... All of that information is available on every single American for a price. In fact, because Facebook/Meta and Google etc store their information in the United States, they could likely also give that information about every single Canadian.

I guarantee most people have met a transgender and didn't even know it. I took a course at work and both instructors had transition from female to male. You would never know unless they told you. I am so sorry to every trans service member. There is absolutely no reason to believe that someone is unfit to serve because they are trans. I believe that the relationship between a Country and its citizens is much the same as a parents duty to their child. Governments have a DUTY to care for the safety and well being of their citizens. I would like to see a UN declaration stating that governments must accept their citizens back into their borders. And that the home country must reimburse all those governments and organizations that fed, clothed, transported, sheltered and rendered medical aide to their citizens. NO COUNTRY must be allowed to dump their citizens like trash at the side of the road. These are THEIR CITIZENS..IT IS THE HOME COUNTRY'S DUTY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM up until the time they are LEGALLY granted citizenship elsewhere. This application process can be done while the person is still in residence in their own Country. It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to take the illegal route. Thousands of people have died in the process. This must be stopped by every Country along their route. Every single country has the right to accept or deny anyone wanting to enter their country based on their own criteria. Travelling to a country is luxury and living & working there are privileges! I’ve had the privilege to work and live for 2 years in India and I’ve respected every single procedure I had to go trough, I had all my papers, I respected the country and culture, did my job as good as I could, stayed out of trouble and went back home when it was time to do that. Just like India has the right to set its immigration rules as strict as they want in order to protect their sovereignty so does any other country on the face of the planet earth! They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

But especially for immigration. Poilievre and Trump have blamed immigration for job loss, housing shortage, healthcare inefficiency, crime, urban decay. Poilievre and Trump don't try to differentiate between refugees/asylum seekers and legitimate immigrants. Canada's birth rate has been falling every year since the 1960s. Canada needs immigrants. New Zealand is a lot smaller then Canada, and so the Indians stand out even more, just look at all our fast food restaurants, service stations, corner stores every business you can think of they own it. NZ some days looks like India. We have a lot of tourists who get mad because they come here to NZers, but instead see indians

I mean as someone who has worked on the other side of things (as in deporting) the comprehension level of Indians at the immigration counter is appalling they would be asked one thing and all they would answer is but I have hotel bookings and return flight tickets… and this is not a language barrier as I interpret the interviews live…. Like why are you not listening to what is being asked?
