As a Canadian, I know that most Americans don't want this. But decisions have consequences, and - collectively - you voted for Trump in a free and fair election. He said he was going to do this. No one should be surprised.

I know we have to be addressed as the entire country but for those of us that didn't want this and voted for Harris we are so ashamedand angry. please Canadians forgive those of us that never wanted this to happen. But we understand what you need to do now.

I am an American and I want to say stay strong to Canadians. I am really sorry that this happened due to a bunch of idiots who voted for Trump.

Canadians will never forget this, Canadians are slow to anger but once you get us there it is cold anger and it lasts a long time. We will never trust you again. Being the US's neighbor wasn't a choice. It's geography. For decades we worked together to create a safe and friendly border.
