It's for these reasons and more that I say D.J. is a Traitor to this Country for the love of money. \n How much more of an illustration does one require for a 'Worst Case' scenario?!? From the USA: Why is it right for Canada to tariff us more than we tariff them? Trump pointed out that there was a 200 billion a year tariff deficit for the USA. Some say that number is inflated and the real number is somewhere around the 70 billion mark in Canada's favor. No one disagrees that the US has a huge tariff deficit with Canada. So, the USA is just leveling the playing field. It's time to truly have level trade with the rest of the world, not just Canada. No more free lunch from the US to the world. We want free and fair trade, but for that to happen we must tariff other countries goods at exactly the same level they tariff our goods.

I don’t think that Trump’s Tariffs have anything to do with Fentanyl. His aim is to isolate USA from their allies, he wants to gather as much money as possible to pay for huge tax cuts to the richest oligarchs. This is all about greed first and the destruction of democracy second. We are so much more vulnerable as a nation at this time. If you fail to do that, you are taking the path of accommodation, and if Trump is really a tyrant (which he surely is, because of MANY evidences!!), democratic countries weaken their position by not standing strong NOW. If Europe and Canada and Mexico ban Tesla imports and place 50% tariffs on tens of billions of dollars of American products, what would happen? Are these countries AFRAID of the United States?
