I think this video is interesting because many people are upset about the direction Canada is heading because they are trying to make it accommodating to people like you. Your reasons seem very tone deaf and hypocritical. You point out negatives about Canada but seem to only say positives about other countries. This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. What I have heard about Canadian policies, they are idiotic - to say it nicely. Very good objective video. I grew up in Toronto and had many great experiences in the city as well as commuting from west Toronto into the city for five years of high school (grade 9 to grade13). At an very early age I used to fearlessly ride buses, street cars and the subway system with no concerns of crime or potential violence in my mind. I wouldn't suggest this now for a young person unless you have 2 or 3 marshal arts black belts in your resume! The very same circumstances exist in Vancouver...quite possibly x's 2. My family and I now live a short distance east of Vancouver, but the city has changed about 10,000% since I lived there from the late '70's to the late '90's. I don't mind saying that I believe most of the problems/issues in Toronto, Vancouver and many other cities in Canada have been accentuated by poor policy decisions at all levels of government...municipal, provincial and federal...particularly since 2015 aka the J Trudeau era. But the slow spiral into the hell hole since Trudeau took power has totally changed our opinion of Canada. 16:40, speaking of making friends. I saw this video once from a girl on YT and she is German. She had this theory about how people behave in the US (and in Canada by extension, from my experience) and how they behave in Germany and in Europe I would say, in general. People in North America are like peaches (soft on the outside but really hard on the inside, meaning that they seem friendly, but when it comes to knowing them better, they don't let too much of their personal life). People in Europe are like coconuts (hard on the outside, but soft on the inside, meaning that they would seem inaccessible at a first glance, but if you spend more time with them, they will become very warm towards you and they can be very loyal friends).

Or that our parents were able to afford university with zero debt afterwards now you leave with $100k+ in debt and the classrooms are 80% foreigner. First of all, we should be careful with the use of the word “hijrat”. There are countries(I happen to be born and brought up in one of them) where muslims actually have a history of persecution, often resulting in riots, deaths. If you compare with Prophet Mohd. saws’s hijrat, it was a result of prosecution, suffering and life risk. Relatively speaking, sometimes our first world problems may look big, but they’re not really, compared to the state of Muslim lives in other countries. \nI have lived in Dubai(2 yrs), US(8 yrs) and Canada(1+ yr) and I want to say that Canada is a beautiful, diverse country for people from all faiths and backgrounds, so much better than what I have experienced living in the above mentioned countries and my own.\nThe grass is always greener on the other side and often we don’t understand these things until we experience them on our own. One of the sweetest videos I've come across on Canada. No negativity or hate-mongering, just facts as it is in the simplest of ways. I've been living here for almost 3 years now- and I'm used to being alone, but I still find the void maybe its seeing your own people back home. I'd say it's quite a struggle to live here and you start to accept it as a norm. But I love motorcycling and I am overwhelmed by the natural beauty- did some amazing rides in summer, but unfortunately winters are here now. While I have three years on my OWP, I'd use that time to gain more experience, travel across the beautiful landscapes and head back home. I don't see myself settling in here- not my kind of life. I am very adaptive and have come up on my own in life from a very tough childhood- I love Canada for what it is, but then it's just not for me.

I'm going to say my opinion as an immigrant, I lived in France (for a while) and one of the reasons I saw people leave this country was family, I'm originally from Colombia and here life with family is extremely important, so when you go to build a new life where you have nothing, you have to build from 0, and of course you're on your own, It's not as simple as you might think, most people I know in France can't do that, they just can't leave their country, they love their country, unfortunately for people like me, immigration is the only option we have, i like my country but i don't had option i had to leave, so I think that's a very good point to consider, people fall alone, immigration is not for everyone. \n \nThank you for your video.

In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. On Tunde's success story, I can see that the resilience, passion and dedication that he put in really amaze me. No wonder he was able to achieve his dream. This is such a depressing video. Canada is fucking full.\nWhen people say immigration is good for the economy, they fail to mention that it's the immigrants themselves that are flourishing at the expense of the native Canadians. \nYeah the economy does better because there's cheap labour, low IQ workers that'll pack boxes for 10+ years with no complaints, and those same high skill workers are stealing opportunities from native workers that are equally high skilled (they lose out on opportunities not due to being out-competed but due to Affirmative Action, see ESG scores).\nThis is so grim, seeing Canada, in real time, get raped by foreign insurgents.
