If someone is looking a basic life, definitely you can manage a job , basic amenities and lot of safety. If someone is looking good quality life with decent savings , that's possible provided if he or she take additional degree and start working in intermediate roles regardless of the business. Having certain specific religious background could help since this society gives lot of importance to your religious background, whether you believe it or not. I am not saying society is intolerant but admin is highly biased. Income tax is there in almost all OECDs, if you are still not liking it , well, you know who to elect next time .

I guess wherever you want to move to, it has to be a muslim-majority country. I'm a Singaporean but currently living in Amman for the past 16 years. I won't advise you to come here though raising your kids here would be wonderful. One obvious factor that makes me not recommend you is the economy of the country. Many graduates here can't find a good job.. pay is low, high cost of living and so many would rather work in the gulf countries. But moving to an islamic country and raising my kids here, where they learn the deen and speak Arabic as the first language is ultimately the reward. Especially that we are very close to Palestine makes my kids be more aware of their deen and inshaAllah remain steadfast. Alhamdulillah

I respect your decision to leave based on misalignment of values and other factors you cited. I wish newcomers would be aware of these things before they moved to Canada. Anytime Canada takes in a flood of immigrants and refugees whose value systems don't align it creates longer term issues for society and the country. Before leaving Canada, you should surrender Canadian citizenship and returned passpot as well. Canada, is a democratic, Western, multi cultural society, if you are uncomfortable living in that environment, then you should go to an Islamic Country/society, living in a democracy gives all people equal rights, it's totally your choice, not to agree with certain aspects, but you also need to be aware that Canada, is obviously not an Islamic Country run by Sharia law. American here -- I feel powerless in moving the needle in regards to Palestine. Do you have any meaningful resources or suggestions on what someone like I could do to help? I've written and spoken to my representatives, and my church has been raising money for aid donations even though, with Israel's blockade, it's been really hard to know if the help is getting through. \n\nI am so sorry, please know the vast majority of Americans aware of the situation condemn the genocide in Gaza. If you want a citizenship I don't suggest you go to any gulf countries, of course ignore any war countries, Malaysia and Indonesia have nice people and I think you can get a citizenship there, Jordan might be a good choice you might be able to get a citizenship and there are diverse groups of people but the economy and civil status laws aren't exactly that great, now Egypt is definitely a choice but the country is kinda drifting off of Islam in the recent years, terrible economic conditions and I don't think a citizenship is possible really, I'm not much aware of the Arab west countries but they have their pros and cons definitely, lots of people there speak other languages and there's some beautiful culture and a considerable amount of political safety compared to other countries in the region, other than the occupation Palestine would've been a great choice lots of foreigners live here but I'm not sure what requirements you need for that and I'm pretty sure they probably wouldn't let you do so as Muslims, I have very little knowledge but I wanted to share what I can, I hope it helps.

Sometimes going to another place like Canada, US, etc.. makes you appreciate what you left.. even if you go back, nothing lost because you gained a new awareness of yourself of your likes and dislikes. Also, you got to experience a different culture and way of living... which you realized is not for you. Just think of it as a learning experience. I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems. Regulating the construction and real estate industries could have gotten a lot more homes built in higher density for young and lower income Canadians, as well as for our newcomers. \n\nToo much blind and poorly informed anger, selfishness, and foolishness going around.
