You people from XYZ are really like the EU hypocrites that all you got is words. As a Canadian, I hate Trudeau and everything his government has done to the country. Out of all the world leaders today, Trump is the only one with that kind of courage. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. That is not the case anymore and everything is getting worse in the past 10 years.

I do not know if tariffs or Trump's actions are the correct thing to do. But why can't the USA do 25% tariffs, if Canada has 65% tariffs on the USA? Why is Canada demanding the USA support them? Every country should be responsible for their own goods. The day we start relying on other countries for what we need we're in a heck of a mess. Because China couldn't get our merchandise to our plant we had to shut down for almost a month. We messed up sending some of our work to China. After this we got everything in the US. Cheaper prices are not the solution. Cheaper labor is not the answer. Trump is concerned about the drugs coming into our country and since the borders are affected these drugs will be coming into our country many other ways. Just so it's known but America has never been self-sufficient. We have always been reliant on others with good trade and fairness towards each other. My grandparents went through ww2 and had to go through rations on everything from gas, oil to food and tires. You got a book for everything and had to tear them out to get your products. They said back 1943 they had to keep the farm and barely made it to vday. You all need to look at history and research things.
