I grew up in South Africa. I didn't even know I lived under apartheid, that's how great my life was. I've never experienced racism in America, at ALL. \nI'm more scared of black women in the workforce. I've never been to Canada [I have a Nigerian friend who did but he couldn't stand the cold so moved to Europe instead] but if you hate it that much then move to Africa.\nJust make sure you move to the right part because I have a lot of friends who won't talk to each other, because they are from the wrong country [Cameroon seems to be hated in particular] or the wrong tribe. But they ARE all from Africa [a continent I would like to revisit although as I don't like the heat I suspect I'll never make it there]. But there are many from different parts of Africa here - north, south, east, west and central - and while many don't get on with each other they do get on with the locals.

It's nonsense to think there's no where for black people to go for holiday. I've been to European countries and racism is alive and well. So i see no reason to go to these places when there's so much to see in the African continent. I've visited West Africa, South Africa and recently, East Africa and all are beautiful. I promise.

I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups.
