Hey Tyler...ask the question in reverse...see how many Americans would move to Canada....and I have a question for you, Why should I have to make a choice where I live, directly in response to gun violence and mass shootings, lousy uber expensive health care , discrimination, racism, bigotry, and hatred?...like I said in my 1st post, I lived in Cali. and Arkansas in the mid 80's, as different as environments can be...yet all of the same issues, just some more pronounced than others ( surprisingly, I saw and HEARD a lot more racism in Southern California than I did in Arkansas)....but now, in the 21st Century, the fact that politicians are actively trying (and in a lot of cases succeeding) to return the U.S. to the 1900 ( taking the vote away from minorities, especially blacks and native Americans), making women bend the knee to what men say and want them to do ( the reversal of Roe v Wade, 100% total bans on reproductive rights, and the restrictive, totalitarian, Nazi/fascist bans on the rights to choose who you want to be, how you want to be addressed, LGBTQ people and lifestyles) when I see this, hear the right-wing racist, elitist,MAGA, B.S., I wonder how ANY people in their right minds could want to live in 2023 America, the Land of the Lost !

Sorry Tyler, but given the current social and political environment in the USA I do not want to visit the country and definitely never move there.\n\nThe challenge for me is the realization that Canada was built on community, while I see many (too many) Americans fiercely independent and not seemingly caring about anyone but themselves. \n\nCanada IS NOT PERFECT. We have gang violence, drug issues, racism, homelessness, poverty, inefficient political and bureaucratic system, but in general I feel that people will be more polite and helpful to each other than in the US.

It's wonderful to see people so excited and exhilarate to want to be Americans but come the legal way learn the process and assimilate into being an American. Leave your problems behind you do not bring them. America has a lot to offer but You're going to have to pull yourself up. That is the American way

I see all these comments about we need to fix America or we need to fix our country first or Americans can't find housing Y'all do realize that the only problem is that the rich are just abusing us. There is no way to become that wealthy without screwing someone else over. When were y'all open your eyes and realize that we need to go after the rich people and our own government who helps the rich people.

Why do t we do as Israel does and start shooting.. I mean I get it it's not a great idea... But it to protect the American people... But at the same time you don't see America condemning Israel for their actions

It’s horrific how these ppl are forced to live, that is NOT life..reading the comments, it’s disheartening to see. Put yourselves in their shoes! Ask yourself many questions. Would you live your life under a corrupt government? Would you allow the Mexican police/gangs/drug lords, to walk in your home, kill your children, your family, got no reason and get away with it? Would you want to struggle just to feed your baby? Would you want to live how they live? Your country, my county is huge. But hey, it all comes down to greed and politics, right? But if we won, made you go back to where you came, would you have gone freely? Hell no! We HAD rights, and it was taken away….and take a long hard look at what’s happening today! Country against country..race against race..ppl no longer believe in God and our world is turn to shit…ppl walk past a homeless child and do fuck all (I’ve seen it many times..and yes, I help) stop being so fucking greedy, if you want to help take care of your homeless, then get off your asses and start helping your homeless ppl…will that happen? He’ll no! Why? Because YOU people who are against these ppl who want a better life in America, won’t even make an effort to help your own, now isn’t this called “calling the kettle black” because you simply walk past them, you stare at them with disgust! Sad to see people leaving their countries, but we can't take everybody in when we have our own Americans are struggling days in and days out. Our veterans and homeless are much need helps tremendously. This is what happens when you have a weak president with weak border patrol. He sent out invitations now here they come.

I see a lot of them many many they come here they have bad attitudes they spy around on people they follow people they get their own sex trafficking rings and prostitution Rings going they do what they do when they're in their country they do it here I could understand if they were working or you know did something positive yeah they may be illegal but they got to go through the regular system you claim Asylum get a job you don't go follow people around you don't go scan real close behind them and they don't even know you're standing behind him that's what I've experienced little short brown people they'll stand right behind your butthole in a store and they won't even know they're there and then you feel something behind you and then they act like they're there standing like right under your underarms and they act like oh oh no it's okay you're okay it's okay what the f*** you know I can understand if you're from a country where your lives are in jeopardy but you come here and you pull the same s*** on us on us Americans that's what I don't like y'all need to get your country back take your country back

I’m an independent that usually votes Democrat, but the border should be a nonpartisan issue.\n\nAmerica is not like Europe. European countries are the sizes of states, and they have the European Union to cross govern.\n\nAmerica does not have a relationship with Canada or Mexico like any of the EU countries.\n\nWe cannot be letting this happen. I feel for the people suffering in Mexico, I truly do. But mass illegal immigration is not the solution.\n\nNo matter how bad things get in America, I will never just walk over to Canada and demand a job.\n\nOur societies have to function on a system, and that system demands legal immigration.\n\nWe have to do something, but when it’s a bridge like this…I don’t know what ethical solutions there would be. \n\nMaybe an electrical fence? The thought of a child being electrocuted because they were pushed into that fence is devastating to me; it would be heartbreaking to see anyone injured that way.\n\nWe can’t hurt these people, that’s not right. But we have to find some way of keeping them from crossing illegally.\n\nA wall, a mote, an electric fence—honesty, I don’t see how any of those would keep people out…\n\nIt’s just an awful mess. Forget Democrats versus Republicans. This is an issue every American should recognize.

We lost our republic in the 1870s and since then corporate America has controlled every aspect of our lives. We’ve lived under an elusive veil of freedom for over a century. You have to pay the government their share for everything, private business isn’t legal without government permission, can’t hunt/fish without government involvement, can’t build a self sufficient home without government involvement and regulation. Antibiotics and anti diarrheal and any REAL medicine that isn’t some deadly pharmaceutical is federally controlled and not accessible to the general public, historical and scientific information is withheld from the population. We even made up our own version of history just to brainwash these past few generations. And it worked, because people have had the collective knowledge of human history at their fingertips since the late 2000s…. It’s called the fucking internet, And maybe 5% of Americans took advantage of that and informed themselves. The other 95% just soaked up YT and Tik Tok while they make repugnant Baaa Baa claims about the left and right. Just constantly feeding into this division THEY created. The left and right are owned by THE SAME PEOPLE and the these people put who they want in office. There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. It’s just another way to suck on that big red white and blue dick. The truth is we are the sovereign people, and we hold sovereignty over this country, and it’s our goddamn responsibility to fight the fucking corruption that’s in our government. And we’re just a nation of pussies, we have legislation called the 2A that explains in detail those responsibilities. The 2A was never about guns, it was about protecting the republic. Look at the world right now, the people in countries that don’t have legislation like the 2A are rising against their governments. And we just sit and cower and bitch about piss poor wages and expensive gas and do NOTHING. land of the pussies, home of the brainwashed… \n\nIf you read this far congratulations, you can consider yourself well informed. \n\nWhen you start to entertain the truth you will see it everywhere.

As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. Thankfully they made it to the USA and were able to rebuild their lives and become proud American citizens. They did it LEGALLY. It makes me so mad when I see footage like this. Lots of racist people serotype Hispanic Americans negatively because of these criminals. Why is our government doing nothing about this???? The cost of living is unbearable already and we have a major housing crisis. It is NORMAL to have a border! Why is that so hard for some people to understand???? It's a national security crisis. I swear this is the most incompetent administration I've ever seen in my lifetime.

Even tho I don’t think this is correct, U.S people luckily finds themselves on a good position to see this just as people making a tantrum to enter the U.S, proudly I say I’m Mexican American and I’ve lived in Mexico and Brasil as well, non of those Latin American countries I lived is as bad as Venezuela and even like that I’ve seen some very messed up shit, they are countries with a huge culture and beautiful but on the lowest levels it’s a pretty dark place to be…so for the USA people here that is heavily throwing shit, be some kind of human try to understand at least , I get it, I don’t think this is the way neither, but they are not just people trying to invade to take over or whatever, I even saw a comment saying that they should shoot those Venezuelans, the world is a pretty messed up thing now, and luckily or unluckily we don’t really know a shit about it, they are DESPERATE it seem like they were violent and most probably some of them tried to get violent but most of them is just desperate people trying to have it better in their only and one only lives..worst yet, if you have a kid, imagine how worried would you feel for not being able to provide your kid with a good life… see the people in the front for example, they were people begging and crying, is being desperate for having something better, and this is a really biiiiiiig subject with a lot of issues, wrongs, misunderstanding… you don’t know how bad is going in Venezuela, not even me, but I can imagine it cuz I know how bad some people have it in Mexico, and they don’t know how them illegally getting into the US is going to affect the US, I try to get all points so I don’t think this is correct, this kind of events shouldn’t be happening, but I also understand, just to put it in perspective, I’ve talked with some people from Venezuela and they’ve told me some crazy stuff, quick example. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

I am not against inmigrantes because I am one as well, but really this is not the way to do it. As I can see here this people is fighting hard to cross the border to get a better life , then why not to do the same in your own countries to fight for your rights of have a better life. I came in different circumstances when I married an American citizen, and I am the only one in my family to live in USA, the rest of my family live in my country of origin ( in Latin America) . Fight hard but use that energy to fight in your own country and the world will be better if all of you get rid of bad politics in your own countries . I know you all can do it because I see in this video people fighting hard so then you can do the same in your countries. ?????

Insurgency is coming. Who is funding all these people to travel thousands of miles to our border? Look behind the front line women in the camera shots. The crowd is mostly military aged males. The CCP is funding foreign fighters entering our country. 6mil already in the last 2 years. When China is ready to take Taiwan and the rest of the South Pacific, they will activate all 6mil of these fighters to create an insurgency and a civil war. The hipocresy of American politics is just too much, on one hand they will give you the idea of resolving the border issue, on the other some work to get money in their pockets by cartels and other criminal organizations worldwide like isis, and on the other killing the economy by not making the illegal immigrants work like Florida. This shouldn't be necessary, I agree people should fight to make their own country better, and people do need to think about the socioeconomic reality of their own country when hosting immigrants as well.\n\nBut at the same time, it's kind of sad to see so many people not just worrying about it but literally hating people as if they were all dangerous criminals who come to kill you and steal your job, and not just loving fathers and mothers doing the same that a lot of your parents and grandparents did hundreds of years ago. We need interpreters, like Tony Gonzalez and Ted Cruz to explain in their language why they were deceived by Biden (for votes). Send them to SANCTUARY CITIES.\nAnd they’re gonna have to wait right where they are for now. Maybe for a long time. Sad reality is these people are better dressed and look more healthy than 90% of Us citizens. These are definitely not all people that are in fear for their lives. They clearly have had food and water and some kind of life. What about our citizens in violent cities? Especially the ones who have no food, shelter, family, nothing to keep them away from violent people... Where can an American go for asylum? Where can we find refuge from our corrupt politicians? From the mentally illand violent? Its even worse thinking that these people will get treated better than those who have fought for this country. Risking life and limb to protect freedom. Y’all r dumb, you say “let’s help the homeless in the US first” but really most homeless people here are LAZY, or drug addicts who don’t want to be helped. You say “let’s give jobs to the homeless in the US instead of immigrants” but who’s actually putting in that work and taking jobs? The Mexicans. I don’t see no American homeless people posted outside Home Depot lookin for a job.\n\nYes, there are many homeless people who have injuries or who need help getting access to jobs - it’s important we help them still but those who are willing to work hard and push will reap harvest just how it is. We had a President that was against this, that wanted a wall. Now, we’re giving free housing, food, phones, healthcare, paid job training and even higher education, and the list goes on! I’m not sharing my opinion on social; however, I am stating a fact. I’m not going to comment on what I think would happen if just one or two families left this group and went down the road a few miles and found another way in. I’m not saying that’s right, but say it’s what happened… they’d get the above. I also see many comments here saying these people should fight for their country and try to make it right… well, I don’t see Americans standing up to our government and doing what is right. I live in the border and I see Venezuelan people everyday walking in the streets, with no house, or a car, just walking with old clothes and shoes. They want to get out of poverty and get a job and they are desperate. And me too.\n\nI’m a Mexican who has the American Dream too but I will cross the border in a legal way. Not like that. And my mother has a shop where the majority of our customers are from Venezuela and Haiti

We see this because American media and politics constantly show the world a false narrative that they can just walk right into a better life bypassing millions of people waiting patiently on a list.

How could Americans have this much hate towards someone that’s being oppressed and being threatened with death if they don’t pay a monthly fee knowing they can barley provide for their family, they are literally escaping their own homeland to start a life worth living, but since Americans hate seeing hard working people live with the little that have here and still be more happy than your college degree folks should tell you a lot about America ?‍♂️

America is already on its brink, many don’t realize it but these next 3/4 presidents we have, policies, etc. Along side what people of faith allow to go on, Along side music agendas, other political agendas that coexist, More of a possibility our Cold War with China gets physical by way of Taiwan at any moment, Korea…, Lack of both fundamental and natural Resources (used irresponsibly), Division due to government neglect to correct past decisions/often tends to cover up/erase/rewrite/censor “the victor gets to rewrites history” type shit, American dollar is starting not to mean shit in more places outside the States/territories (since we took it off the gold standard), let’s see there’s people still recovering from the housing market/Wall Street crash, recession, Homelessness in not just vets, youth (children) as well, Lack of Men’s Rights Across the board which is a bigger time Bomb; than what people think, Huge population decline due to modern Feminist Ideology and its affects on boys who were born and grew up in its prime (90s-early 2000s) if you go back through movies tv shows music you’ll see and hear comments, things, innuendos, references to things that foreshadowed what is happening now: to name a few contributors: Beyoncé, Oprah, Vivica Fox, Welfare, CIA, FBI, make up/fashion industry, etc. A new generation of confused, dense, savants that couldn’t tell you a woman from a beef stick… my bad my bad tells you that you can be woman even with a beef stick, Violations of constitutional right regularly by the ?who forget they work for, “The People” the people who pay their bills and put food on their tables. The government first normalizing unnatural sexuality(if you can’t reproduce “be fruitful and multiply”, I.e. man x women) you don’t see it working in nature seahorses somewhat excluded: my meaning of unnatural sexuality; Teaching it in schools some places too authoritarian rights away from parents, schools/music/media/tech raise kids nowadays not parents some places. Trying to normalize pedophilia in government a few bills her in Cali, a few movies on certain platforms, certain inappropriate clothing types for minors from a company made for adult women by a old man, Edw/Bel/Jac series yes 100+ year old going after a 16-17 year old, and an adult male “imprinting” on a baby, he later got in relationship with (not sus yeah mmm okay). Thank the Democrats for letting this happen. We cannot support the people we have now so how are these people going to get the help they need? I guess these liberal cities can keep taking them in since it's their policies letting it happen. I guess if these cities get tired of footing the bill maybe they will stand up and say something to their leaders and tell them enough is enough. They don't want the wall they don't want to give the ice agents and border patrol the help they need and they keep blaming Americans for their stupid policies but they sure will bring in hundreds of IRS agents to take your money and arrest you if they don't think you're paying what they deem acceptable. I think most Americans are sick of this administration and want it gone. Their giving more rights to illegals and other countries than the people who live here. This administration is going after the rights and freedoms of all Americans and trying to turn the Constitution into some old document that doesn't have any relevance in today's world. They're pushing more and more communistic laws through our government to strip Americans of their rights. People need to wake up and see that this administration doesn't give a damn about you or this country.

Apparently these people don't get to see American tv and don't watch YouTube. We're suffering from mass murder and gun violence, cops murder people, constant school shootings, no sensible gun laws. If you want to grow older, stay wherever you are.

As a citizen, I am very tired, and seeing those central Americans, South Americans, Haitians, Cubans, Europeans, Asians, and Middle Easterns come to Mexico to USA. There is no way to get in the US/Canada because you need to have legitimate valid papers. Especially to Central Americans and Venezuelans, they need to follow the laws. My parents came to the USA more than 50 years ago, and with proper documents. And for people who believe and blame Mexicans for taking their jobs. Don't! I know some do not have the legal papers, BUT blame the ones who don't follow the laws!!!!

As long as a Demorat is the president this will continue. Remember these aren't the smartest people from those countries trying to break in. They will all try to get some sort of intitlement after they get here. We can't take care of our own citizens now so I see it getting worse for Americans in the future. This should prove to all Americans that the government doesn't care about you at all !!!!!!!!!!!

Don't let them in. They can do jobs better than Americans and cheaper. Americans think they have entitlement and are lazy. That's why U.S. lost manufacturing jobs to China and Mexico. American CEOs fed up of American worker entitlement mindset. HISPANIC people stop buying American goods with your hard earned money. See how they treat Spanish people from South America.

Reality. Really. Maga right. Let's see unemployment numbers down nation wide since Trump took office. Foreclosures another all time low. Employment is up. Programs that Trump and his republican mates took away to help now not only back in firm place but helping Americans who weren't wealthy and paying for it are now successfully employed, own their homes and contribute fairly with appropriate taxes. People can't find housing??? Programs are out there for those who had foreclosure on them because of Trump's unyielding to constantly tax those not making six digits. Also our country lost over one million innocent men,women, children and infants because Trump REFUSED to acknowledge COVID. Care to speculate how many of them were republicans thinking how could I of believed him??? One father stated after burying his wife who died from it said this. We believed him then my wife of fifty years contracted it and died quickly and our kids who like us who believed him were told had this been taken seriously in the beginning it would of never become this severe.
