People mad that we are going to tariff (tax) other countries who benefit from doing business with the U.S. but okay with the government placing tarrifs on our own peoples income for working and contributing to the local economy through commerce. Tariffs seem more fair. At least if they want to reduce the spending they do less business with the U.S. we have to work for an income to even live here. We have zero choice about income tax and in fact, can be jailed for being unable to pay it.

They spend 4 years in the military changing gender on tax payers dime. Out of the whole 4 years they may be deployable for about 6 months and that ain't all at the same time. When I was in this stuff was not an issue! You spend too much time on issues of such little concern. This is one of the reasons that so many people have turned on CNN and why many have voted for Republicans in the last election. Frankly if I was transgender, treated the way they are by Republicans, I would quit the military.

This is a good step in the right direction. Cut down public sector spending. Since the targets for foreign students are much lower, and the anticipated immigration # should be lower in the next few years, we don't need as many immigration workers. I do hope Immigration Canada would prioritize applicants with higher education, skills that Canada need, etc.

PREDICTION: The rise of international tariffs will ultimately uncover a huge underbelly of unemployment ironically in the USA and create a wave of an unexpected underbelly of poverty unseen by America in many years. Countries will turn their back on America, knowing they can work well together than rely on the USA. \n\nThe average US citizen will be receiving tax rise after tax rise, causing more poverty within states and due to the 'xenophobic tariff mentality' - will find the middle income earner slip down to a lower grade, and ripple this effect. Medical aid will only benefit the rich while everyone else will pay for minimum service but premium for medication. \n\nThe price of food and transport will quadruple over the next 4 years, not because of the natural progression of price rise, but immediately due to tariff wars. \n\nAmericans, ultimately pay for tariffs - bullying words of 50 percent tariffs on another country means a surge in prices for everyday goods Americans take for granted. The only winner is the Government - which means it chooses what to spend on. \n\nA recession will hit hard....AGAIN -- on the USA.

Need no migranta anymore? As a foreigner coming to India practically every year since 1975 I can say the way India is handling visa applications makes no sense. Foreigners who spend nearly all their income on Charity in India are denied an entry visa, year after year. And with only an tourist visa life is pretty unpleasant for non tourists.

Imagine if they were willing to spend this much energy and willing to sacrifice their lives to change their own govt vs trying to invade another country and becoming their burden.

Our public sector is bloated, it's not a matter of numbers it's all about efficiency, dropping staff numbers wouldn't necessarily make things worse, this government needs to sort out their budget and spending. yep issue here is housing, to many people coming in not enough housing that is affordable for Immigrates and Canadians which has cause a rise in Homeless, lack of job increases and failure for new businesses to start up, low spending doesnt help it, low income less money going out, less sales. It is indeed becoming more and more tiresome and all countries should shun the practice of demanding advance reservation of flights and hotels before applying for a visa. Indians are travelling more and spending more and these countries are just lining their pockets with illogical procedures. The beneficiaries are the countries hotels and transport agencies whose visa one has applied for a holiday as most of them do not provide refund. A sad state of affairs and a very negative attitude by the countries for a nation which is striding ahead and will soon become one of the most prosperous nation in the world.

When any tourist go to Sri Lanka after touring India, he or she realises how chaotic and filthy most Indian cities are. Other than inside metro trains, Indian roads are just filth dumps. Shocking to see the state of cleanliness of tourist attractions like Mthaura, Vrindavan etc etc. On top immigration officials in India seem to think they are doing a favor for the tourists who are coming to spend dollars and know their country!! Indians travelling abroad should also need to have basic common sense. These middle class needs to have attitude adjustment and also have the plans to come back after the visit. Do not take travel visa as some sort of right to stay back illegally. Vacations should be spend in the right way, you book a hotel, for an example, do not try to take the amenities provided by hotel for their guest as some sort of right to take away things. Because of a few, the whole nation gets its reputation tarnished. Please talk about these issues as well.

There is no money in visa free countries for Indian’s they are not going on holidays to Europe they are going to work illegally and behave as a 3rd world citizen…Rich Indian are who are on holidays or business they get visa for long periods. They will spend or invest. Sorry to say That’s the fact

India should have similiar rule for these nations. Its obvious that these nations have every right to deny visas, but they should refund the money spend on these obligations. And there should be a strict rules for refunds for rejections.
