Everyone can anticipate dumb Trump’s response - really no need to give him air time to say it. He’s a traitor to his country, its people, to his countries allies. It would be dumb to continue to cover Trump as if he is worth covering. He is no longer the leader of the free world and he is no longer the most powerful leader in the world. He has ceded that to Putin to whom he bends his knee when kissing his ass.

We (Americans) who are center-left are with you. Anyone who does the math won’t find a sensible answer; there is none. Average Americans will feel the hurt first. They say there is a backlash, here and there… but these clowns continue onward to the destruction of everything we hold dear.

It should be said the people who didn’t vote for trump are just as pissed off as the rest of the world. Remember that. So he's saying Canada will continue to not pay their contractual UN obligations to help defend Ukraine, (and other countries in conflict), and will instead be dumping the penalty for non-payment on his own people and the US tax payers who have been supporting his country's debts for decades?

The US is our biggest ally here in Costa Rica but I can´t agree with what Trump did, does and will continue to do. Disrespectful to all countries. I'm sorry, that's not anti-Americanism. Word choices matter, and this was intentional. Think what you will of Trudeau or Canada, the reason people are turning away from networks like CNN is at least in part because you continue to pay people who are incentivized to frame everything as pro-America or anti-America. Some better choices might have included: frustrated, honest, distressed, resolved. Nothing Trudeau said was in any way anti-American.

If you voted for Trump, you are directly responsible for this. Kamala would’ve at least respected the constitution, and relationships with allies. Trump is a danger to global peace and stability, he has only been in office for 2 months has been tearing up everything you stand for day by day. My sympathies go to the US citizens that didn’t want trump but are now losing their global standing because of him. If he continues as he has done so far, I expect escalation and a war that nobody wants.

I grew up hearing lots of hate bout USA cuz the US doesn't exactly have a good rep in foreign policies - always bullying other nations, starting wars for oil etc. but I've always preferred USA not just for the world order it brings, it allows different voices, criticism & scolding towards its leaders compared to China, Russia & North Korea. \n\nin the US, you can talk bad bout politicians in power, or probably make movies bout these kind of things like US invading other countries for oil, or testing out some cruel AI military robots on humans (movie name: Monsters of Man), & you won't be persecuted. but after looking at a bunch of executive orders Trump has signed, the way he (& JD Vance) treated Zelenski & Canada, I don't know if I still feel the same bout USA anymore.\n\nif USA doesn't wanna continue spending on Ukraine, perhaps USA shouldn't have sweet talked Ukraine into denuclearization thru the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. that's what you get for mendling with other countries' affairs. by stopping US aid & wanting a new mineral deal, Trump's refusing to follow the Memorandum (I added this sentence thru edit as I can't reply to the comment below).\n\nunderstandably, US & UK don't need to deploy troops in Ukraine as the security assurance in the memorandum wasn't clearly defined, but it also didn't mention that Ukraine should pay the US back financially, nor any mineral concessions. \n\nTrump always wanting a purely 1 sided deal will only isolate USA from more allies.

It is evident that comments like the one from @robertedward7023 demonstrate many, many people do not know what took place at the meeting before this meeting which should have made this meeting a simple signing of the agreement. VP Vance corrected Zelensky for his attempt to propagate his agenda and now that Germany, France and others--as NATO countries--have jumped in, there could be consequences resulting in war if they continue to push for it. As far as Trudeau, he is on his way out according to his own resignation and he has just done Canada wrong with the faulty reasoning. I thank all military veterans for their service, but I do not approve of what they say blindly.

US citizens, please do not divert your attention from where your primary attention should be and that is the Trump Administrations appeasement policies towards Russia. In the past, it took at least a century for humans to discover new theories, knowledge, create new innovation, or create any civilization. For example, Sir Isaac Newton announced Newton's law of universal gravitation in 1687.\n It took 200 years for Albert Einstein to publish his “Theory of Relativity” in 1905 and 1915.\n But the world today after the arrival of the first electronic computer in the middle of the 20th century (1940 - 1945), since then everything related to humans has been continuously developed at an accelerated rate!!!\n Human civilizations in the past took hundreds or thousands of years to develop before gradually collapsing in less time than it took to form.\n Now a day with the advances in technology and IT communications that we have today. We might be able to see a great empire collapse with in an overnight. Vice versa a great politicians became... savages that no one wanted in the blink of an eye!

While I acknowledge that the way Trump and Vance addressed Zelensky could have been more diplomatic, as an American , I cannot justify allocating $360 billion of our tax funds towards resolving another counties war—especially when only half of that amount has been accounted for, and the other half remains untracked. Let that point sink in! The US is currently in $33 Trillion dolars in debt yet giving away money like candy . No other country is contributing money like we are . We simply do not have the resources to continue doing that . Our financial situation is worsening as we print more money to allocate toward other countries. Furthermore, 7% of the $33 trillion of the US debt is owed by other countries , including China . Our funds need to be utilized for our own benefit before being given away. We have veterans on the streets, the elderly suffering because SS isn't covering their basic needs , school system thatvis failing , health insurance unaffordable by most. We need to fix our own issues. We need to feed our own kids before we feed the neighbors, not the other way around.

Trump has got to be removed from office somehow, for the sake of the whole world. This is getting too dangerous to continue. He's causing nothing but trouble everywhere!

I would align with Russia too, why side with the weaker country thats got no cards on the table and pretty close to being obliterated by russia. México nowdays has a efficient, knowledgeable. and honest president that wanted to have fair trade agreements with Canada and the United States ...however the US government choose to fight and blame the neighbors to the north and south by braking every single rule of the free trade among the three countries ......CHINA , CANADA AND MEXICO ....oviously will retaliate the same way and Definitely the US citizens will be the most hurt ....mexico always have been resilient from wars. If look at another perspective, if Trump did not impose tarrifs, then Canada will continue to sell the cars back to US for high profits. Trump mentioned about this, he is not happy. Canada should not only retalliate with tarrifs, but should challenge the lawfullness of American tarrifs under the GATT, the USMCA and in the US courts. The tarrifs are unlawful under American law. Canadians are generally refusing to buy ANY American goods. This should continue. America: you f'd with the wrong country.
