All I see is a sea of working aged young men. A few women and children. My God when is enough is enough. These young ppl should know how to take care of their selves. Have they no shame. Why do they not fight for their own country there’s plenty of young men running to our border they can fight for their own country.

I think this is exactly what Trump is aiming for. To send a clear message out to anyone who plan to enter the US illegally should be afraid. canadian military will take transgender military members. Our military pays for the surgery, gives free counselors. There are a lot of conservatives in the canadian military, including my husband, and he works with a lot of transgender people and no one cares. IF someone wants to transition no one cares, if someone wants to be they/them no one cares. They lives their lives and get the job done. Literally the worst thing that could happen if a person was cut off from hormones was they'd probaby act like PMS. PMS just means not taking peoples shit.

If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.

I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. Some provinces that shall remain nameless like to break contracts with health care professionals, resulting in shortages of certain types of workers. \n\nI live in remote northish parts of my province (not NWT, Yukon, or Nunavut), and 6 years ago I was diagnosed w/ lymphoma. They had me set up to do chemotherapy treatment within 2 weeks. They wanted me to start that weekend, but I needed the time to put my work in order for me to be gone for an extended period, get applications set up for EI/Healthcare claims, and figure out who in my family I wanted to share the information with. \n\nIn Canada you end up waiting for elective surgeries and treatments, because they aren't critical by virtue of being elective. That's about it. If you need an elective and have 10K in your pocket not doing anything, go ahead and go to the states.

I bet the majority of the people just want a better life, but this is no way to do it. I don't pay taxes to take care of other people while I go to work everyday.

As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, multiple times, I completely agree with the president’s anti-trans policy in the military. Soldiers have a hard enough job as it is much less stacking on some DEI nonsense. That’s only gonna take time away from their training and ultimately DEI is going to 100% negatively affect the mission and their safety. Of personally over a 10 year period served with a couple gay and lesbian Service members and never once was what they did in the privacy of their own bedroom ever an issue or counter to the mission but this new age woke DEI nonsense is completely counterproductive, dangerous, And disrespectful to the non-DEI service members. The simple act of picking an unqualified, military leader, who’s responsible for the care and lives solely on the gender, ethnicity, religion, or pronoun, and not on merit, experience, competency, or any of the other real requirements for a military leader is literally the most irresponsible, dangerous, and disrespectful thing you can do to the men and women who have literally dedicated their life for years in service of our country! There’s absolutely no excuse on this planet that would make it ok. Being a service member in combat is already the most stressful job on the planet, but to make them take their focus off of the immediate threat to focus on political correctness or someone’s magical mystery pronoun while trying to prioritize and mitigate threats and combat is the most asinine and literally dangerous Nonsense I’ve ever heard!??????

the fact is that those who transition have to take hormonal treatments for the rest of their life. regardless of the qualities someone who is trans may have placing them in military units create problems. in addition there is the fact that transitioning may have other long term health effects that would raise the cost of medical benefits for our soldiers and veterans. this is not the simple issue of discrimination based on sexual identity that CNN wants to portray it as. whether we have a tax based economy or a tariff economy in the future up until now it is the American taxpayer that has had to fund military expenses including health care for our soldiers and veterans.

If i was still in the military I'm sorry but no matter how hard i tried i would not be able to take a biological male posing as a female serious. Thank god the unit i was in would never have had that issue, it couldn't happen. First let me say that I fully support anyone who is fully physically capable of doing whatever job that they are either enlisted to do or has been assigned to do within the military. \n\nIn a time where special forces doesn't mean bulked up freakishly high endurance or specific physical requirements are necessary.\nSpecial ops nowadays is also about mental acumen and ability to assess the entire picture and it is absolutely well known that certain physical factors are required to be on the front lines but to remove a very capable force that is a force multiplier in a time where it's absolutely needed and cannot be replaced quickly or even adequately is doing a massive disservice to our military and the citizens of this country just for the sake of a small group of individuals with small minds that couldn't step into that vacant position and adequately fill it with the same caliber of talent regardless of how they identify themselves!\nBeing the most lethal fighting military requires many talents and to remove those talents from the soldiers they support is absolutely hurting our military in ways that will take decades to rectify!\nThat soldier on the ground calling in drone strikes to get his or her soldiers out of the danger isn't going to care if they are trans or identify as LGBTQ only that they are able to safeguard their soldiers in whatever way they have been trained to do..\nOur military needs to be the most diverse in order to be the most lethal in the most diverse situations throughout the worlds stages!

Was all 20 years of “her” service as a transgender, if not, then her case has no ground to stand on, because its even worse for the soldiers around “her” to have to deal with that shit. No place for transgenders in the military, cause now they’re asking to be included, next they’ll be crying about their own toilettes and barracks and everything else. All soldiers left their life behind to be part of the military, and they wanna allow this. Dont care how good they are suppose to be, they are a distraction, and the military is the last place you want people distracted. They dont have so many transgender troops that it will take decades to fill their place, STOP WITH THE BS. 1 person being successful, mainly because of what they did before the transition, does not make “her” proof that its not a problem. Thats like in the middle of corona and i stand there and say “corona isnt a problem look at me, im healthy” while other people are dying. 1 person can equal proof or can equal an anomaly. I live in USA legally. And I am a citizen. There is not enough housing. Even if the Housing is not an issue. The health care system is collapsing. It used to take 1-3 business days to get an appointment. Not it’s 2-3 months. It’s a dramatic change.
