I moved to Canada about 17 years ago and yes it is an absolute pain to jump through all the hoops they want you to go through. I was only here a few days and I came from Ireland as a brick and stone mason they recruited me from Ireland and wanted me to come out. Within three days on the job I learned I would be getting less wages than the other bricklayers. I packed up my tools and walked off the job I notified the employer and the union by emails and told him I’d be flying back home in a few days. Well the union and the employers came running straight away to get me to stay. Trying to explain that after a couple of months I’d be on the same money as the rest of the guys. This is where I explain to them that taking home C$1100 was already a pay cut a massive pay cut as are used to take home 2500 to 2200 Euros living in Ireland. I moved to Canada for a change of lifestyle but that doesn’t mean I was going to be taken advantage of. And that’s when they said they would pay me the same as everybody else. Sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself and be willing to follow through. They even reimbursed me for the airline ticket I bought to go back. Some skill sets they really need in this country in addition Canadians population growth is absolutely dependent upon immigration as the family sizes and birth rates are critically to lol to sustained a country. As I’ve said I’ve been living here 17 years now and I am a Canadian citizen I guess that makes me an Irish Canadian now.

Taxes remind me a thing: a couple of years ago when I was excesively paying taxes, I requested admin staff to please help me so that I pay what I must pay. They didn't help me. I went to my (above 80!!!) G.D. and asked him to sort it out please. He said, you are earning handsome amount, so you should keep paying this amount of taxes. :D :D Not to mention, he was a retired guy earning still about 4 times more than me and his family is settled in Canada too. :) God bless everyone!

Funny I’m from a small town\nAnd I’ve been going to the same gas station/corner store for like over 15 years and this new guy follows me and watches my every movement...and when these white kids I know are trouble makers he doesn’t do a thing lol the store owner actually told him “oh he’s okay I know the family” because he noticed the new guy watches my every move and I let it go for weeks but the owner told him I’m okay and he had this look like he wasn’t convinced lol needless to say he quit and now works at another store across town..another place I go to lol I said “hi man! I feel for anyone being discriminated against, here its really hard to get an apartment if you are on assistance, ODSP. Is for disability of many types. All you need to do to see it is go on kijiji. Students and working individuals. And you might think they have their reasons but I have paid my bills. I am quiet, if that isn't discrimination. Enough said. That guy is a scared guy. well to be honest, a marketing guy said, that he has two appartments free on the first dude and one appartment free on the second dude.....isnt that.....good? would be better to switch the order of the visit. and the 10$ difference by a different contractor was probably mor elikly corruption by this guy than actual racism.\n\n\n\n\nthese test results dont show racial bias, but simply the facial recognision of your mind to identify white or black people, thereby have a greater cultural and social preference to come into contact with these people. the test actual showed never racism. its showes social stereotypical mindsets. to combine these stereotypes with claims, that are unjustified to a person is prejudging and by a racial mindset of reasoning its is racism.

My son worked at Superstore and he said it was 90% Natives stealing and being caught for shoplifting. Women with carts full of groceries surrounded by little kids as shields trying to walk out without paying. And when they were stopped they shouted “racism”! You make your own bed, ppl don’t get these “prejudices” from thin air. And I wonder what those little kids watching their parents steal will do?...give me a break snowflakes! And I wonder what faces the black guy would prefer? A Chinese store owner will watch the black guy and the native too, are the Chinese racists??

Quit watching it not even minute and you can already see him race-baiting. The lady told the white man that the price was not set but it would be roughly around 900. The other guy came and and she gave a set price of 930 and tried to insinuate that it was cuz our racism. She said it was around nine hundred for the white guy didn't put a set price. Secondly white people get followed around in stores just as much as blacks. does it matter what color you are hang out in Walmart too long and see how many people start following lol.

I'm half white (but look full white) and have only been followed once in my whole life (I was dressed in rags tbh). When I'm with my half brother who looks black, we are followed at every store. That being said, his demeanor is pretty suspicious. He puts his hood up, hands in pockets, and hunches over. He likes to look at nicer stuff like watches too. He's autistic but to any security guard he looks like a guy trying to shoplift. It's a shame.

I can give you plenty of examples of being racially profiled as a white man, like the time i walked into a Mexican market in L.A. and as i walked in overheard what the cashier charged a Mexican woman for a couple of items, so i grab the same exact items and bring them up to the counter just to be charged 3 times as much.  Go to any swap meet in So. Cal as a white man and see how you are treated amongst the Mexican vendors. And the further south you go the worst it is.  Maybe white people are not supposed to speak up? Or maybe the time a black guy said to the white boy door to door sales man that he was in the wrong neighborhood in Pasadena, Ca.Where do we put the attention? Or is it all about ratings again?

I was in Toronto me and a friend he was a white guy and we pretend like we were a couple and as we were walking down the street people was staring at us and the police officers had said are you from the States we said yes and they said oh we thought so and I said why is that because I'm black and he's white they were very very prejudiced towards us as if no black and white couples walk down the street in Toronto that's the impression I had got hope things change by now but I'm afraid it probably haven't

The white man not once said that the turban guy was a muslim. I'm really not sure what Trudeau said to make him and other undocumented immigrants buy into this fallacy, but its a known fact that immigration to Canada is strict. Its actually far more stringent than even the US. He also does not qualify for asylum after having lived in the US for 15 years. I'm just confused about this whole thing? Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Ironically its non-white Canadians i had funny experiences with.... from dating to renting its weird\n\n\nAsians under 27 always asking some crazy questions ( Are you an NBA player ) lol it's cute at first but after a while when little koreans walk up to me talking about ( You look like will smith ) it makes you think... To be fair these are not inherent negatives, But asian canadians alone did treat me weird i found, Indian girls i met all wanted to be with me but where also very ashamed to say so or let their family know, but thats a cultural thing so i understood.\n\n\n Of all the demographics White canadian and native men where the most welcoming and open to me, in my experience.. White women of-course where cool too but that does not really count, especially as a good looking black guy with an accent LOOL you know how that goes!!
