I want to give a different perspective. I'm from Singapore. My entire family was here and they have moved back. My sister moved back first because my British brother in law could not take the cold. My brother moved back because he wanted to make money and be rich. My parents moved back to be close to their grandkids. But no way will I move back. Constant heat strokes from the weather, materialistic and shallow people, preference given to married people and families, lack of hinterland and nature, lack of winter sports, and poor LGBTQ+ rights. I have not lived in Singapore since I was 18 and I am also childfree, with no intention of raising a family, only travel locally, and am not into the acquisition of commercial goods for gratification. I love going on roadtrips and skiing every winter and playing hockey year round. I like that I can marry who I love here and can acquire a home without needing to be married. I understand how people who want to make money and raise families would see the brighter side of other countries, but Canada, despite its flaws, is my brighter side.

I am a Christian Canadian Palestinian. I fully sympathize with you and wish you success in finding the right country for you. Canada is a superb country but needs retooling urgently as otherwise it will go down the drain ?

I just stumbled upon you guy's channel by accident, because we are looking to move out of our country as well and Canada was actually a possible option. (not likely now) \n\nI am not muslim, I am just a regular western white girl, with priveleges I never knew I had until a few years ago, and looking at the world with increasing disgust and sadness. \nI completely understand why you'd want to move away from there, and even though I am not muslim, some of the points mentioned here are also reasons we want to leave where we are now (Netherlands). \nSociety is falling apart, people pointing fingers, our government is a ****show and puts the entire world's needs before taking care of our own problems. I don't feel safe and welcome anymore in the country that I once called home. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you two, raising kids, in the world how it is today, where people are using Islam in ways it was not intended and how it has played out to put the western population to turn against an entire group of people that also ultimately like everyone else, want to live their life in peace and safety. \n\nI wish you both the very best, stick to what you think is right! Your children couldn't have asked for better parents :)

As an atheist I wish you all the best, it's true the political games destroying the West from within. Though I'm on the side of LGBT and i believe that they should have rights like everyone else, at the same time I understand that some extreme ideologies can go and push so far and I agree that let kids be kids. My only concern is that Islamic countries do not have any rights for LGBT people at all, in fact, they are being prosecuted based on religion since religion is basically the law. I guess only time will tell if you made the right choice, I can not recommend any country this is something that you need to research deeply and make a decision for yourself.\nI'm in British Columbia, and my child had never experienced any drug queen library stories or anything like that, nor did teachers teach them anything without our consent, there is full transparency between teachers and parents.\nAt the same time, I'm just like you disproving collective punishment of Palestinian citizens, the atrocities are sickening and I couldn't believe that the United Nations is tiptoeing and not being proactive in defending Palestinian children, it's just unthinkable to me that it's happening in the 21st Century.

My parents migrated from Pakistan to UK in the 1960s, they were the minority Muslims, but pioneers in establishing mosques, halal food in all educational establishments, many work places and major food outlets in majority Muslim areas. They also established Salah places in work and education and public buildings, and also the rights to practice your faith and take time for Salah in working hours.\n\nNow, my family are the fifth settled generation and alhamdolillah, we have many madrassas, islamic schools, and children becoming Hafiz. \n\nWe live in harmony with non Muslims and many are converting daily, the question is if there was no Muslims, how would the Deen be shown and expand in non Muslims countries. Even our Sahabahs went into the world to teach and expand our beautiful faith Islam.\n\nMany Islamic countries are only Islamic my name, they are the biggest contributers to the genocide, as they have not spoken up or helped their Muslim ummah in Palestine. You will also find many covert doctrines in their governments that you may not agree with.\n\nLastly, many Muslim children attend public schools and are being exposed to the LGBT community and we as Muslim parents are teaching them in our homes from a young age, that in islam there is only a man and a woman and no third gender and only a man can marry a woman.\n\nYou can have the best of intentions but you can wrap your children and one day they will be exposed to what is not Islamic, and they need to be taught how to deal with it and hopefully, by showing them their own Islamic values, hopefully also change people's perceptions as they come into Islam.\n\nMaybe, if you stayed in Canada, you could establish an islamic school for your children and other Muslim children to attend, look around where you live, see where you can establish prayer areas, talk to the mall managers and finance prayer rooms, talk to schools, public restaurants, and establish halal foods. Please look at what has been achieved in the UK and you are at the beginning of that in Canada, and think of the Islamic foundation you are setting the future generations of Muslims and also many more Muslims who may convert one day. insha'Allah

As someone from the US, here’s what I will say- you can find a small community or a community within a large city that will fit your needs if you look hard enough. HOWEVER, outside of that community, our larger government will never be the right fit for you, for the same reason you’ve “outgrown”Canada. “We” rarely invest in our own country and citizens, and always have “our” hands and money in other country’s affairs where they don’t belong and aren’t welcome. The government is unbelievably corrupt, out of touch, and is more focused on getting one side to hate the other side than actually making “no-brainer” steps that we all agree on to make things better for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to land for a little while I’d say a place with a Muslim community is fine, but long term your money won’t be going to places that aligns with your morals and values.

As a born and raised Canadian of immigrant parents, i have definitely noticed the increasing influx of people leaving this country in recent months. This issue has popping up more in the news, just around this year. Canada needs immigrants, thats true for the long term it will benefit the country, but right now its more of the drawbacks that are manifesting. Accepting More immigrants means that more resources are needed, that means and so many tax paid social services and benefits like housing, healthcare, welfare, citizenship applications, waitlists, wait times, lineups, everything is getting longer and pushed back. I get what everyone feels.

And that’s biggest advantage if you want to grow your children. Omg, this is exactly the video I needed! I've lived my whole life in America, but my parents immigrated, so sometimes I feel guilty about wanting to leave. I really want to live in a Muslim country, and being from NYC, I love the city so Dubai is the only option I can think of. But I feel like Dubai has changed, I want a place more Islamic. My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

Yes they have the right to their land but they think all Israel is their land which is ludicrous. There were a small number of Jews who never left Israel when conquered so many times. most countries after the pandemic experience poverty. We are allowed to say pretty much what we want. We don't have to sell our house if somebody has cancer or get in financial crisis. Most countries has had their house value up the past years. People are friendly they just don't want to bother. Our Politics are not perfect but hate speech and fake news needs to be sorted out. The problem is the US, we need to fix our problems at home with immigration first!!!! \nWe have immigrants on the waiting list, doing the right thing by following the law!!! Waiting in line to have there case and situation heard.\n\n Immigrants from the 60s 80s never got free housing free food were never allowed to enter the country the way the immigrants today are just entering and they're staying in 5 star hotels in New York City never in the country's history has it been seen.\n Never in the country's history has resources from US citizens been given to immigrants I have entered illegally.\n And now if you are from Venezuela you're ahead of the line ahead of all the people that've been waiting to legalize their status these people are just getting documents faster than everybody else why is that.\n We need to fix the situation in our country first and take care of the people that are in line doing it the right way.

1) Toronto is poor value. Getting housing of any kind (buying or renting) is stupidly expensive. And the quality you get for the price is lousy. Especially the newer builds, which are just thrown up as quickly as possible and sold to investors. Policy measures generally all seem to serve to just inflate the price of housing further. The occasional lip service given to affordability is amusing, but ultimately sad. There are lots of people who really do not want the housing bubble to pop. They will fight against it with all they have.\n\n2) It has become kind of boring. There is lots to do if you have money, but it’s harder to find entertainment on a budget. Even the free stuff like parks are filling up. Stuff like sporting events, eating out, going out is very costly across the board. Even the “cheaper” stuff is expensive. It seems like a lot of local culture is disappearing. Even the cool neighbourhoods are filling up with the same chains. I think the high commercial rent and bureaucracy is deflating a lot of would-be entrepreneurs. Most landowners seem to just be banking on cashing out their land for condos.\n\n3) Canada overall has a high cost of living compared to salaries. In the US you can find lower cost of living areas that still give you a real city experience. And in Europe you can be poor but still live a decent, if no frills, life. In Canada the basic necessities are all expensive. Phone bills, grocery bills, rent, insurance are through the roof. Domestic travel is expensive. And the dollar sucks if you want to travel abroad. Health care is free but good luck finding a family doctor or waiting 8 hours in the ER these days. It’s expensive to be poor, or even middle class.\n\n4) Most of the Greater Toronto Area, outside the core, is soulless suburbs with awful transit - very “American” except with worse traffic congestion. You will need a car, which is another huge cost. Row upon row of old cookie cutter suburbs with the same crappy houses. Good luck walking anywhere, and if you do you will need to walk down boring, treeless arterial roads with cars zooming past right beside you, and cross giant eight lane intersections that were never built for humans on foot. In a rainstorm or on a fall evening you have to be really careful not to be run over by aggressive drivers.\n\n5) It is hard to raise a family in an apartment here. You can do it but it’s not very easy, and also you are still kind of judged for it. Lots of young people are feeling stuck and are deferring or avoiding starting a family. Buying any type of house, even a basic townhouse, requires pledging your soul to a bank by taking a massive mortgage with eye watering debt in a volatile market. But few apartment buildings have the kind of sensible gentle density, the family unit sizes and the common amenities, like little courtyards with jungle gyms, that you might find in Europe. No one ever contemplated that anyone would ever desire to raise kids in an apartment. It’s just a cultural thing that has worked its way into how things are planned and designed.\n\n6) The transit system is ok by North American standards but awful by international standards. There are only two real subway lines, one stub line, one line that is permanently out of service after a derailment, and another line that was supposed to open a couple years ago but still has no date for opening. The subways go out of service frequently, sometimes for the dumbest reasons, and then it is a zoo of shuttle buses. The streetcars are nice but so slow. The buses are fine if you find yourself dreaming about riding a daily herky jerky rolling tin of sardines. They are building a lot of transit but it will take decades to get done.\n\n7) There is still a lot of cool multiculturalism and opportunities to experience different foods and cultures - one of the best things about Toronto. Increasingly though it seems to be losing the fun vibe of the 90s, when everyone celebrated each other’s backgrounds and was chill. It seems the immigration is not as broad based anymore and also people are importing a lot of their “old country” grievances here. The immigration system also kind of preys on people abroad by selling them a false fairy tale, so they end up dejected when they arrive and see how things really are.\n\n8) This one might be controversial but it’s kind of an ugly city. There’s nothing particularly of historical meaning or value. Some of the older neighbourhoods are kind of nice, but the last 25 years they have only built giant glass skyboxes, one after another. There aren’t the cool “missing middle” walkups like in NY, Chicago or Montreal (or even LA). There are very few buildings with much architectural character. Some of the buildings they deem “heritage” here are an embarrassment.\n\n9) For safety, honestly on this score I think Toronto is not bad. There are not too many real “ghettos” and it’s night and day compared to much of the US. With that said, there is more vagrancy and social issues these days, with tents and such. It’s very sad but the shelters are full, lots of homeless go into the libraries, parks and transit system. It does make it harder to enjoy these public amenities safely. It is nowhere close to Europe where you might let your kids run free around town. Canadian parents still helicopter their kids and the place again is not designed to really be safe for kids, in the same way as Europe.\n\n10) Finally, a bit of a double edged sword. Toronto had a lot of youthful energy - people coming here from all over. It is definitely not as sleepy as many parts of the world. With that said, it is becoming a bit of a transient place (minus the world class experiences like London or NY). If you are from elsewhere you might find it hard making and keeping friends. I’ve seen lots of people struggle because it’s is hard to build a strong social network. We have a very “shallow” culture here - people are extremely polite but not overly warm and hospitable. We treat one another kind of like neighbours - meaning we’d like to have a cordial, drama-free coexistence and otherwise kind of stick to ourselves.

That time leave house doors open no one will come and steal any thing. Now you keep 4 locks Robbers will rob you. Killing crimes gone up to sky. Because weak politics.let people enter as Refugee & illegals which became burden on tax payer’s head. Own Canadian suffering because of out siders Stop Immigration for 2 to 3 years then some relief we will have. This is what happens when you bring in people from the wrong countries and cultures... and deny those from the right ones. \n\nMaking it easier to lower our standards to meet theirs... it's not the answer. \n\nMake it attractive enough to do the work and become better to earn their place here. \n\nWe aren't what we used to be... we shouldn't hasten the decline by filling our country with garbage... \n\nWe can't just bring better people.. we need some of the better conditions and practices and cultural elements before woke trash and genZ destroyed productivity and reality.

I resigned from a comfortable position in a top international IT company when I decided to come to Canada, only because I saw Canada as a country that was the best, even unmatched in maintaining humanitarian values above any politics or foreign policy. I am now considering leaving like many others, not due to a lack of opportunities or living needs but a seemingly severe lack of morals, disregard for humanity, and undermining human rights for the sake of politics and foreign policies of the government amid the current carnage in Palestine. When you see hundreds of thousands of Canadians, including Jews, protesting on the streets of Canada, demanding that Canada push for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine, and see no reaction from the government because they are afraid to annoy the USA, you wonder if the government really represents the nation's will.

As an immigrant living in Canada for 22 years I regret stepping in to this country \n This country needs immigrants to use them as modern day slavery not the growing population with young people \n For example when you injured at work you get robbed by Wcb of bc \nNone of us the immigrants knows their right therefore the Wcb of bc officials cheating us just like myself \n I hated myself coming this cowards land

Because we get nothing done here. My mom came to this country in the 70s and she loved how much progress they made every decade. But now we do nothing. We need to get Canada working. Build major projects and be competitive. We cant do that with Trudeau. And to be fair. Im not a liberal or conservative fan boy. It just matters who leads whichever party. Canadian ruling class markets the country as a bastion of freedom and equality. We immigrated, believing in that notion . Hey there, you fine American... Just to let you understand, our system is FAR from perfect, but it's still easy access and quick service IF you don't need a rare specialist or a not so rare one). The thing is, it's ALL priority based, so if you wait, it's because someone needs your resources even MORE than you do. Sometimes, it ends up in a tragedy, but MOST times, it allows for the neediest to get it first. \nAs far as having children here, we have a NEGATIVE birthrate, so our government PAYS us to have children. My son grew up in Quebec, and they have a double everything. Double taxes (not that bad after the tax deductions and credits), but they also Double the safety net and services, compared to the rest of Canada. Not only was childbirth free, so were the pre-natal courses and everything else, AND we got around 1000$/mo in childcare benefits, until he turned 18, with full of tax credits per kid. Plus, daycare was 5$/day back then, it's 7$/day almost 20 years later.. Pretty citizen friendly. \nThings MIGHT be changing though. Our conservatives are taking their talking points from the US GOP since COVID, and they are all-in to please their Oil lobby overlords and donators out in our prairies region. The Alberta Premier is a far-right conspiracy nutcase and her new pet-project is Capitalist healthcare (among her trolley of lunacies). SAME place the far-right rednecks always come at us from. It's like they binge-watch FUX nonnews and get their ideas from the dumbest idiots there. Disgraceful Canadian MAGAt wannabes are the result of Trump polluting everything since 2016. Follow the established systems, and trust that these systems are designed to work for you. Fortunately, there are no shortcuts or backdoors in this well-structured country. \n \nWhether you're coming to Canada as a Landed Immigrant or a refugee, understand that there are distinct pathways to follow. Canada has a well-defined system for both. \n \nNow, you might have heard stories of people sleeping on the streets of Toronto for a brief moment. But let me clarify that these instances were temporary and not reflective of the broader reality. The media may not always provide the full context of such stories. \n \nIn major companies and hospitals across Canada, you'll find a significant number of employees who are immigrants, just like us. I moved to Toronto in 2021. I've wanted to live in the city and have finally bought my condo in the city of Toronto. I love the city, especially during the summer time. Toronto Summer is so much fun and a great place to be in Canada. I am sick of all the Toronto bashing the past couple months. Yes, there are a lot of problems and yes they're all really bad and need to get resolved. And in all honesty, Toronto is probably one of the better big cities to live in in Canada. Despite all the negativity, TTC violence hasn't really gone up on paper. A lot of aspects about Canada are still strong even among western countries. I've been to Vancouver and Montreal. And those are cities have a lot of problems and a lot of different problems than Toronto.\n\nThe reasons that she specified in her video are all valid and they all make sense. I just want to say that I'm sick of all the Canada bashing and all the Toronto bashing. Toronto is a great place. I'm going to be still living in this city as some years it's going to be down and it's going to come right back up again in another few years.

Am a kenyan Canadian and living in canada is the best decision I have ever taken. Lot of kenyan are paying agencies to come to canada through visit permit. People should blame agencies who promise them jobs not canada government . When you come to canada through visit permit you need to change to work permit or study permit. Actually there are thousands of kenyan who have come through visit permit and they are claiming refugee status. Canadian Government is doing its part by giving all claimed refugees shelter and give the money for upkeep. When you have visit permit you can't work in canada but you can convert it to work permit which is not easy but an expensive process. You need to get a company that can process you lMIA that labour market Impact assessment . You need skills to get a company to apply you Lmia or uende China ya maji you pay Indians who have companies in kenya $30-$40 to apply for you lmia. Or you can convert your visit permit to study permit and universities here are damn expensive. Getting a Canadian to marry you for status is very hard. In short am trying to say if you do not come through work permit or landed immigrants life wil be tough use the money you are paying agencies to start something in your country. They are so many opportunities in canada if you have the right papers or status. As for me am a happy single mom who as accomplished alot here and I love canada .

Most of the issues mentioned in the video are common in cities the size of Toronto elsewhere in the western world; I have family/friends all over and they have similar gripes about cities like London, Berlin and NYC. The precipitous decline in the last few years is indeed due to the fall out from COVID, both economy-wise and mental health-wise, and most countries in the world are still recovering from it. It's tough everywhere you look, but I do hope it's a temporary situation that will blow over sooner rather than later. Having said that, one thing that's probably worse in Toronto (and Vancouver) than most cities their size (I know that Toronto is much bigger, but Vancouver is a big city in its own right) is the housing situation, which had already been a problem before COVID in those two cities and it has only gotten worse since so it's now a real crisis that needs the municipal, provincial and federal governments to work together to address ASAP.

Canada needs to stop harboring criminals and terrorists on their soil\nAlso make sure Canada has rule of law. You cant blame other countries because of your failure to contain gang violence.\nRespect human rights of Hindus and stop attacks on Hindus in Canada.

As long as the government continues to promote unsustainable population growth rates, the highest in the G7 at this point, the quality of life in our major cities is only going to get worse. They need to slow the population growth rate to one that matches the ability to look after the citizens of the country. Right now, it is completely unmanageable.

Every man deserves the right to feed himself and house himself. When we deprive any human being of that natural right, things like this occur. No one should be begging for a job to sustain themselves. It should be our RIGHT to work. As a planet, we need to address this issue. Everybody would be fine in their own country if their natural right to work to LIVE wasn’t stripped away from them. Same as the United States. We shouldn’t be begging anyone to work for money. A job to live and thrive should be everybody’s right. This way of governance is going to soon come to an end.

The way to help the homeless people \n\nCanadian people every year welcomed thousand refugees from abroad, and supported them with generous resources to settle down their lives in Canada. There’s no doubt Canadian would do same things to the homeless people in our society, but the same things are not needed by our homeless people.\n\nAs most us know, most our homeless people with mental illnesses and hard bad addictions. They are not capable to make right choices for themselves. But it’s not safe and right for making choices for our homeless people even with our good intentions. As in the past happened so many governments and metal health institutions abused their power over the venerable people.\n\nThe key is the whole country specially the federal government should determined with provincial and municipal governments and many social groups to solve the problems together. To provide the nice, attractive, safe environment places for the homeless people. It would cost more than supporting the refugees and without returning, the refugees after settling would pay back as tax payers. But it would cost much less than mental health institutions, prisons and the damages they cost to the communities. And providing better environment for the people, businesses and communities where the homeless people live now. Most importantly it is our responsibility for the homeless people and the communities where they live.

Do we have a government in office? And I aint talking about just just President Biden cause hes d*** show not doing his job, but the republicans and the democrats. You all need to address this border. S***, this is going on too long. It's time to shut that s*** down. Making people turn their a**** around and go home and end about 10 million of the ones that already got through over the past 10 years need to round all day a**** up and send them back as well. And then I have to get through sending him back. There's another 30 million that's over here illegally. And it's not okay, it's making it hard for the Americans that has to live here. The Border surely is not secured right at all we needs somebody to make sure it is secured and keep them illegals out of our country and stop sending money and do right for our own country USA.

Beware of the single narrative. He’s speaking from his own experience, but it’s not the same as everybody’s. I’ve lived in Canada now for 4 years…got my citizenship this year. I lived in Nigeria for the 10 years prior to moving to Canada, and I also schooled and lived in the UK before that, so I speak with a wealth of diverse experiences. \n\nBefore you move to Canada or anywhere else for that matter, do the following:\n\n1. Research the country you’re moving to…what jobs are in demand, how that aligns with your qualifications…if you need to recertify or retrain in a different field. Many people move here thinking “oh I was a bank manager in Nigeria, so I’ll move here and become a bank manager”. It doesn’t work that way. The streets of Canada are littered with qualified medical doctors who drive Uber because they didn’t understand how difficult it would be to be certified to practice here.\n\n2. Find role models who are living the life you aspire to, or who have made similar moves and seek advice or guidance, and learn what they did right/wrong. Don’t just assume because your friend moved here, you can also move here and live the same life. You don’t share the same life experiences, history or have the same network.\n\n3. Before you immigrate physically, you have to immigrate mentally…be in the right mindset to live in a new country, understand their culture and learn to adapt. If you’re expecting to leave Nigeria and move to Canada to live a Nigerian lifestyle with “owambe” parties every weekend, or having 4 cars and 3 housemaids, then you’re still living in Nigeria mentally. Even Justin Trudeau does not drive 4 cars.\n\nI work in tech, so I knew that with God’s grace I’d find a way to succeed here. My wife worked in a Nigerian bank, and was able to transition to tech after we arrived here. Our combined annual income is roughly $500k, and we both work less than 40 hours a week, and I believe God will continue to bless us. I have easily 20 or 30 friends and colleagues who moved within a year or two of each other, and everyone is doing fine and working in tech jobs paying 6-figures. \n\nDon’t be discouraged by people’s failures and hardships. With the right planning and mindset, you can achieve your goals in any country. Reach out to people on LinkedIn, build a network and ask for advice (constructively)…many like us are more than willing to help.

As an older person who migrated decades ago after protesting in my old country, I encourage young people below 45 to FIGHT for your countries. Fight bad goverments. 7 billion people on the planet cannot move to the few western countries that seem to work and appear attractive on the surface, it’s not possible. The taxpayers in those countries are feeling it. Look at the folks sleeping on the floor in NY! The homeless citizens don’t have places to sleep but politicians are lodging new border crossing migrants in hotels at taxpayers expense, creating resentment! \n\nFight those oppressing you in your countries. Black America “fought” to eliminate Jim Crow so we can even move here. Black America and the White allies who struggled for civil rights ARE the reason the west has even been tolerant of the amount of immigration in the last 40 years! \n\nThere is no peace without a fight… even after the civil rights fights including the million man March 60 years ago? by MLK, the struggle against racism continues. \n\nHe left because of his children but will find out in 25 years time that they will want to connect with their roots even after succeeding in the West. \n\nYoung folks, take African, Latin American, Caribbean and Asian countries back from oppressive greedy corrupt rulers to reduce the need to leave our places of birth. I “fought” oppressive corrupt regimes with other like minded folks when I was younger before leaving! I wish we were more that were interested in protesting! Now folks are giving up without a serious protest, distracted by entertainment and the illusion of utopian countries which is not true. They find out too late! \n\nWestern politicians and governments need to stop cooperating with oppressive governments in these areas if they truly want to tackle immigration. Freeze their stolen loot like we did to the Russian oligarchs, force them to return the loot into their various economies and create good middle class jobs! \n\nThe west works because most work is assembly line in nature, glorifies slavery. A doctor has a target of about 15 to 20 patients to see per day and rushes you out of his office because the corporation he works for only cares about money and KPIs! You really aren’t allowed to interact with patients and provide personalized service. A pharmacist has to fill anything between 200 to 350 prescriptions, give a certain number of immunizations and see a certain No of patients per day. There is no time for niceties! A corporate professional May work remotely but has to deliver on so many projects he is up till 10pm and only gets up to eat. We have beautiful homes, drive nice cars etc but MUST work like the clock in an assembly line fashion! Most of us pay so much of our income as taxes we end up with less than 70% as paychecks! Things aren’t always what they seem!

this is ridiculous we should have always had the military guarding these borders. we all know all of this to President Biden first day in office. whether you first man and I guess we're going to house and feed them while we let our own people continue to Live and Die in the street.. now we should Deport them back to their own countries and let them come in the right way. we need to even report the ones that he's already trying to house in this country because God only knows who they are

Naw take your own country back. We have enough problems. We face enough injustice here. Barely can find housing. High poverty rates. Lots of homeless.
