I’m from Vancouver bc and it upsets me that this site keeps saying oh we need skilled workers not labourers I’m a skilled worker born and bred in bc 10 years experience painter can’t get a job unless I get 10$ less per hour than 2014 and carpentry same thing. The employers want only Indian and Mexican workers because there cheap. This Friday I’m going homeless with my dog because I can’t find work or affordable housing. Government saying we need skilled workers is a scam they want cheap workers no sense of safety or Canadian culture. How did the government let this happen we’re fucked

Search people have nothing to contribute other than they need food they need money they have no job no nothing just like in their country they want to do the same thing here these people will never help America they will destroy America

I think there is one crucial thing that need to highlight, it is about behavior. Not even in western countries but in some Asian countries, Indian already known for disrespecting to local and do not obey the rules of the country that they visit. If you ask the hotelier, driver, tour agent or even attraction/tourism spot staff they already have a signal among each other if there is tourist from India coming. In many cases, alot of provider don't accept their booking due to the previous experiences from Indian customers. \n\nSo, it is not about economic power or purchasing power but more into how Indian carry their self when they come to other people land.

You have to teach them to build properly not bring it all here. That isn’t a fix all. Imagine you have your family, including small kids and older parents in your home and had one extra room for rent, you put ads out in the paper and interview some people for the spot, but while you are doing that, someone walked in your door and put all their things in your the room and then expected you to totally be cool with it. Anyone in their right mind, would be frustrated, even if that person was really nice and and said they'd pay rent. Any sane person would say, leave, go through the interviews, background checks, and then we'll see if it works out. The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. This is good. It will firm up and curb unfettered immigration so that only those with skills/talent are permitted to travel on work or student visas, which over the last decade has been abused by many who claim visas but fail to deliver academically or are substandard or just dissapear. A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

Indians travelling abroad should also need to have basic common sense. These middle class needs to have attitude adjustment and also have the plans to come back after the visit. Do not take travel visa as some sort of right to stay back illegally. Vacations should be spend in the right way, you book a hotel, for an example, do not try to take the amenities provided by hotel for their guest as some sort of right to take away things. Because of a few, the whole nation gets its reputation tarnished. Please talk about these issues as well.

Letter of invitation for your stay. \nProof of residence in host country.\nProof of financial means to support yourself whilst there.\nQuality medical insurance in case of emergency. \nReturn flight ticket. \nMedical clearance for TB, HIV, STD's etc etc\nProof of employment in your home country.\nProof that you will return home. \nSubmit all that, and probably a few things I've forgotten. \nBTW, my hubby is a UK citizen, and we've been married for years, and I would still need to apply and comply!\nNo country owes anyone right of access, and if it threatens them in any way, they have the right to decline the application!

It's incomprehensible that countries like Cuba, Burkina Faso are above India in the Hinley's Passport Index.. there are certain things that are west led that need to be challenged by us Indians and the govt mainly... i see this also in thie financial markets as well...

This is one thing we should learn from japan from very young age. To treat others with respect, keeping surroundings clean , civic sense . Even our 20-40 year olds need to learn these things .
