Friendly? Polite, perhaps. You have to love the reserve of Canadians, but they're not as engaging as folks in the States. Furthermore, while Canada is perceived as friendly, when it comes to cities, those in the Southern US consistently rank among the world's friendliest and most polite. Many, of course, can be violent. Also, are you serious about the shared tipping culture? And the bit on service? Your vid was solid and magnanimous, but on those points you missed the mark. Badly.

Tipping doesn’t mean good customer service. It means they fake it, and in the end, everything becomes more expensive. North America needs to get their act together. Don’t start me on taxes!

Why do you only get “excellent customer service” from a tipping culture? Sorry, don’t find customer service any better in US or Canada. Depends greatly on the individual / establishment. Think it is more important to give people a good, minimum, wage.

Hey Drew, great video, I can't comment on the US side but since I'm Canadian, here is a few things I could clarify:\n1. Football isn't really big in Canada, some people watch it but it's not really popular. Soccer isn't big either but more people follow it.\n2. While Canada has a few political parties, it's essentially a 2 party, plus system. Where only the two major parties are ever in power, and a few extra ones are just there.\n3. From what I know tipping is big in Canada but a bit less then in the US, in most restaurants it's acceptable to tip 13%\n\nOverall great video, stay safe!\nChag sameach

I’m not sure if the 15-20% tipping demands excellent customer service.

..If people would get acceptable wages, they wouldn’t depend on tips.. “Great service” and people kissing ass to make ends meet are two different things..

When i was in Vancouver i met a lot of rude Canadians....some were waiters and hotel staffers and an airport worker. Seriously im nice but next time im going to tell these people off. Actually I gave NO tips to the rude waiters and Tweeted about the bad customer service!! Twitter is helpful in many ways!!

In shoppers tho- Leland was the only one out of the three who walked in with a big bag. \nThat is likely what tipped off the employees to monitor Leland more so than the others. IMHO of course .

Nobody really cares about your complaints, so dont call into a company to yell and scream, just cancel the service and go with another company\n9. Go with your gut feeling, sometimes you do not feel like leaving the house, just don't.\n10. In general, try to be with friends and go to places where you feel safe.

Muslim lady speaks outside of her house and discusses issues we have with the religion, because of this she fears for her safety from her own community. It shows the deep problems we have with the western values and the Muslim community, yet here we have people tip toeing around the issue saying we have no problem, its religion and beliefs and peace and love and we should just accept all Muslim communities even tho this lady is telling you the problems right in front of your faces. There is so many videos you can find showing that Muslim community neighbourhoods do not want non-Muslim's in there community and they want Sharia law and they are not tolerant to outsiders and anyone that thinks different to them, even those from within there own community. 2 good examples are the town Dearborn, Michigan and Luton Town, UK of just how lack of tolerance for non-Muslim people in Muslim majority communities they have.
