I love Canadian people I do not like your leader. He sounds righteous today. Make no mistake of the Skeltons this man has. I do support President Trumps decision we neen to make changes for our country as do you guys have to do. Better days are coming us all things will get rough for a while. I actually am a fan of trump and I think he’s a strong person who will stand for the country, but what he is doing with these tariffs are gonna have long lasting effects on our country company’s will raise prices on products to make up for loss profits and that will harm who? Yes it’ll harm us the consumers somebody really needs to sit down and talk with trump before he makes a poor decision, tariffs are very easy and quick to be put onto a country but taking away tariffs not so much

The world is going to make Trump a 2nd class leader. Every country that stands for democracy shouldn’t let Trump fly into their airspace, or let him come to your country. The countries that have laws that don’t let felons into their countries should apply these laws to Trump, you need to show Trump that enough is enough, and you will not bend to his mafia style of governing. If he our you need to communicate it should be done over a secure video communication, and record it in case Trump threatens you, your country, or if he just goes off the rails in general. If he does threaten you, or your country, or goes off the rails you need to broadcast it to the world. There is strength in numbers, and if the US politicians won’t stand up to Trump, then the rest of the world needs to do so.

Well idk my market is going up very nice today. Also we can make every Canadian goods at home so that there is no weight to his words in my eyes. I do say if Canada is doing all these measures though it would be nice to come to an agreement with Canada. To be friends with neighbors is always better than not being friends. You have to spend money to fix your problems instead of blaming some else and trying to get them to pay for it. You pay to solve your problems instead of giving huge tax cuts to people who don't need them. You stop lying to your people. You want to change the trade imbalance? Build products that other countries want at a price that makes sense. The EU has no laws that prevent American car manufacturers from selling their cars in Europe. American car companies make shitty cars. They make cars that are too big, that don't make sense for European where streets can be very small and gas is very expensive. The US manufacturers don't make a single small car in thos country that can compete with European cars. US agricultural products are laced with poisonous chemicals that are outlawed in the EU because they kill people. Our governmeent doesn't give a shit about that because to grow healthy food means you have to cut profits, almighty dollars, instead of grow things that the rest of the world will accept. We have an idiot for president who thinks he knows more than anyone else and an idiot party that won't tell him the truth. This is going to cost us big time. We are going into recession, probably a long one because we don't have real leaders and the president on his best day is nothing more than a reality TV personality, and not a very entertaining one at that.

i lost my job from the government 3 weeks ago, i never voted for trump he has ruined my life and everything i worked for and im not sure i will be able to make my car payment, pay my rent, get gas, hell even get food, i live in maryland and im suffering so much i cant have no fun anymore i have no money to spend on anything i dont necessarily need im literally penny penching now.

I grew up hearing lots of hate bout USA cuz the US doesn't exactly have a good rep in foreign policies - always bullying other nations, starting wars for oil etc. but I've always preferred USA not just for the world order it brings, it allows different voices, criticism & scolding towards its leaders compared to China, Russia & North Korea. \n\nin the US, you can talk bad bout politicians in power, or probably make movies bout these kind of things like US invading other countries for oil, or testing out some cruel AI military robots on humans (movie name: Monsters of Man), & you won't be persecuted. but after looking at a bunch of executive orders Trump has signed, the way he (& JD Vance) treated Zelenski & Canada, I don't know if I still feel the same bout USA anymore.\n\nif USA doesn't wanna continue spending on Ukraine, perhaps USA shouldn't have sweet talked Ukraine into denuclearization thru the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. that's what you get for mendling with other countries' affairs. by stopping US aid & wanting a new mineral deal, Trump's refusing to follow the Memorandum (I added this sentence thru edit as I can't reply to the comment below).\n\nunderstandably, US & UK don't need to deploy troops in Ukraine as the security assurance in the memorandum wasn't clearly defined, but it also didn't mention that Ukraine should pay the US back financially, nor any mineral concessions. \n\nTrump always wanting a purely 1 sided deal will only isolate USA from more allies.

He has taken hundreds of billions of dollars from the US and has no plan for peace in his nation…Pres Trump says enough is enough, and he is trying to not only end the war, but recoup massive amounts of money we wrongly gave through a deal for natural resources. Sounds like a plan that’s good for everyone involved, and that’s how you make deals! We cannot give whst we do not have & with our debt , we cannot afford to keep printing money, devaluing the dollar, and giving it away at the expense of hard working N Americans!

Trudeau is a sniveling little turd! He desperately wants to make the tariffs sound like they aren't 100% fair. Canada already taxes US imports at an average of 25%, so these US tariffs only balance the playing field. All that said, like Zelensky, Trudeau seems to forget that Canada needs the US, but the US doesn't need Canada. He says that it is going to be tough in Canada; true. On the other hand, the average American probably won't even notice a difference. But the neverending, desperate anti-Trump narrative twisting is all CNN knows.

Pull the camera back and look at the big picture. The US has been divided sharply down the middle of the political spectrum. Canada has been crumbling under stupid political and economic decisions. This trade war is uniting the common people both American and Canadian and supportive allies around the world. Corruption has bubbled to the surface and many things that conspiracy theorists have been mocked for is now commonly known as truth. The people will unite while the Oligarchs mutter “let them eat cake” and there will be a reckoning. Donald might be making stupid choices, but perhaps that is what we needed to finally wake up and unite.
