We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Canadians actually work 2 jobs a lot and even work on their vacation time to get paid. Americans hardly work 2 jobs. Your boss will not allow you to work on your vacation. I’ve never worked 50 hours a week. And I’ve never met an American who’s afraid they’ll lose their job and put up with anything. Not even for the health insurance. Ive been to Greece, Ireland, England and Scotland. I will agree that tap water and food is alot healthier abroad than in the states. Public transit sucks in most American cities. There are trains EVERYWHERE in the UK. You can walk a block and see a train there. But the sprawl here is the problem so you mentioned that. I will say Americans are friendlier to tourists than most foreigners, but most Americans are really mean when they travel abroad, so I guess that would balance out. The cost of living argument is hard to agree with, but I wasn't there during the rent hikes, I came back from UK right before they happened. I've heard inflation everywhere is bad, but maybe not in Canada. Love your guys' videos. Keep it up. I always show these to my girlfriend to start discussion/find common ground, and they have not once NOT worked, so well done.

Cant just focus on cities. We have cities, suburbs, states that are essentially still the wild west etc..this is comparing apples to oranges. America is far too diverse and different in terms of everything you mentioned and more. You guys have only been to the over populated overly well known cities. States arent the same as towns that arent the same as cities for everything said. America is so diverse.

As someone who was born and spent decades growing up in Toronto who moved to the US years ago and spend time regularly in multiple states, I disagree vehemently with what Aba said about safety. Aba did not recognize that not only is the US like 50 different countries, with each state being somewhat unique unto themselves, but the cities are like an amalgamation of 2 or 3 different cities. What I mean by that is about the safety and security aspect, it all depends on where you live and where you hang out. Undoubtedly, US ghettos and the sketchy clubbing districts are generally worse than Canadian housing projects and such. If you live in the regular or especially good parts of the city, it's totally safe. \nBecause most US towns and cities are built around neighborhoods, security and safety is always a big selling point. As long as you avoid the ghetto and late night 'action' areas, it's generally safer than Toronto. Toronto suffers from an outbreak of car break ins, car thefts, home break ins and recently car jackings all over. Many US neighborhoods and areas have no such thing. On a side note, as a POC, I also have experienced far less racism in the US than I used to in Toronto. Without getting into a can of worms, if you live in a Democrat controlled city vs. Republican one, you are going to experience more crime, more homeless, higher unemployment, etc. You guys are referencing LA, which has become far worse, like San Francisco and New York. \nAnd the cost of living comment is ridiculous. Again maybe LA and NYC which are shadows of what they once were. Canada has far higher tax burden, way higher inflation, prices of food, energy, clothes and homes are off the charts. In Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Washington, we have ZERO income tax as well as lower tax than the HST. No way, Aba and Preach are dead wrong on these issues, because they are using LA or NYC as a reference. There's a reason the movies Escape From New York and it's sequel Escape From LA are such prophetic movies.

Guys you have to pool together and create fun events with friends, friends& family, people with similar cultures or not. So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. The story of the Russian guy going back to Russia to avoid taxes didn't age well. I remember watching this video in 2021 and thinking that the higher taxes are worth it because you are essentially buying safety. It doesn't matter if the income tax of your home country is lower if the local currency keeps devaluating, if you can't buy what you want because importing is hard and expensive or if your country is simple just not a safe place to live. Now with the war and the sanctions, your Russian friend must be having a really hard time; borders closed, the ruble is nearly worthless and he's probably trying to flee the country to avoid being drafted, leaving any real estate behind.
