Illegal is illegal. Send them back ALL and let them come in the legal way. Americans are tired of being drained by these people who have not contributed to our economy. They are taking bread out of our family's mouths. That includes the criminals and non-criminals alike. They are all criminals if they came in illegally. America is waking up. Can I ask what is the root cause of this tariff. What is actual trumps demand for this tariff and if his demands are good why Canada and Mexico could not resolve the difference? I am not supporting trump but thought of asking for the reason.

However, America has provided Canada with favorable trading relations and high-cost subsidies in the form of military and territorial security for decades. That clearly was a slap in the face and wasn't very smart! You had to figure some American president would ultimately say enough!\n\nAmerica has supported, defended, and offset the national defense costs of European nations for over seventy years, while EU countries and their leaders have routinely mocked and ridiculed Americans. Is it really classy to slap the face of someone who protects and supports you and your quality of life? No, it's not! Tariffs on EU products are likely coming soon, and reduced defensive support for Europe means they will have to pay more taxes for their defense and goods.

As an American, I welcome all countries being threaten by Trump and his version of America to fight back. Arguing and reasoning with the other half of America isn't working for us. Back in 2016, Trump introduced 25% tariffs on China 301-classification imports that severely damaged my business. For whatever reason, he then exempted the tariffs, but the public still assumed that they were in place. It was a perfect Trump win-win move to make the voters think that he was acting tough, while actually exempting the tariffs for us importers. Unfortunately, Biden got into office and immediately took away the exemptions and screwed us. I mention all of this in order to exemplify how nothing is as it seems when it comes to Trump. Sometimes you have to let this stuff play out before overreacting. I think that Canada made a mistake by overreacting so quickly. This will force Trump's hand to pursue the trade war, even if it was not his actual intention.

The invoked reasons to impose tariffs on Canadian goods are BS. Trump needed a reason to use the emergency act. This is just a smoke screen in order to open up a new trade agreement ahead of schedule. If he keeps this up, the whole world will turn against him and the US.

I want to remind people that the reason Columbia declined the deportation was because they were brought over on military equipment in handcuffs. That figure reflects the people who were already AT the border, and then detained/sent back.
