I don't agree with indiscriminate wholesale deportation without considering a whole host of factors and repercussions, but if the deportees are already arrested for a crime, the President of Columbia has no business telling the U.S. not to treat criminals as criminals.

You have too many unemployed local born Canadians. The foreigners who know they came without permission shouldn't expect to be considered more important then the local citizens.\nA foreign business like a school program does not have the authority to permit folks to come to Canada. Nor do your cousins running businesses. Or foreign realtors selling you or renting housing. Or the foreign landlords convincing you they have the right to rent to you.

Consider: in many places you have or COULD have excellent climate, a REALLY BIG PLUS. Some places have beautiful or could be beautiful beach areas. I think your amazing grand canyon. To that, I think 'tourism' which should have all levels of financial possibility.

Consider how many people go on tourist visas, and student visas and do not return after either....This is why there is strict action on Visas to start off with...

Believe or not because of the behavioural issues also become one reason for rejection. Maybe not a big reason but it definitely should consider. Any immigrant who enters to a country must obey the rules and policies, respect others, environment, culture etc. in Canada from some cities other nations are moving out out due this people are trying to make here as their country in all aspects. Palki , you should also consider fake documents that’s submitted for obtaining visas. Over stays , age factors leading to medical expenses , bank balances for surviving those days in a foreign land. Another thing is when I was in school I had a subject called civic sense, where we were taught about how to behave in public, don't know if that is taught still, if that is not there make it a compulsory subject teach kids from childhood how to behave in public.

It's not just about the largest economy we need to consider the real fact for visa rejections, one of them is not respecting the visitor visas restrictions i.e. overstating and working without work authorization. I have seen so many Indians selling fruits, flowers and gift items illegally on the streets of Europe and Americas.

It is funny that we also report the news, as Indians are winning when we talk about Forex transfers. We are happy when allowed to travel or work in other countries. Nobody complains about the Thick folder of documentation when approved.\nWe also have to consider our civic sense approach.
