Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

But, i wonder why so many Indians are kepp coming to Canada? Arent they happy and contented with their lives in their country, instead of making their lives miserable here then regret it in the end? Why?;why? Why? When they already know that life aborad is unpredictable for them. Then they end up protesting and blaming the government afterwards. Educate yourself fisrt and don't be a victim of your wrong decisions. Well, you have a choice to make your life happy in your own country, or make it miserable abroad. The choice is still yours. And don't blame other countries if it didn't turn out the way you want it to be. Think a million times and don't brag to countrymen thst you are coming to Canada when your future here is uncertain. For sure, there's a much better life for you in India.\nIs India not a good country to live in? Is the governance in India not good? Are the leaders and government officials in India not good? Is that why you guys are fleeing your homeland?\nDon't be a victim of your own wrong decision making...☝️?

Thousands of unskilled immigrants coming to Canada in the tag of students. \n\nAlmost 95% coming here are diploma guys with no experience at all and they expect a permanent residence. \n\nI'm a Master's student with 10 yrs of experience from Mumbai, the level of unskilled students here is so high now that every Tim Hortons is filled with students from Punjab or Harayana. Can't speak a line of English either, who cleared these visas?\n\n\nEnough is enough man, get out now. This country can't survive on such cheap unskilled labour.

The government prefers illegal immigrants. Since they allowed too many illegal immigrants in , they have to stop these guys from coming.

To all the Canadian people criticizing International Students, why do your Universities push their agents in India to send pamphlets, posters, brochure and advertisement almost every day back home in India. You guys in your heart know that your universities are run by the money accumulated from the hiked fees of the international students and if they stop coming, all these so called universities and colleges will be shut down.

Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. This world is so closely connected and it can not be operated by rules. You need to understand the reality and work with empathy.

Part of the problem is our politicians becoming so corrupt working With your countrymen getting your kickbacks from a temporary foreign worker program. a temp work a program that's been going on for over 30 years so I hardly think it's temporary don't you? they don't realize how pissed off their constituents are. And trust me and once we actually figure out the level of your corrupting our institutions you're going to pay for what you've done because there's obviously been some type of conspiracy going on everyone knows it. when there are so many coincidences that there's no longer a rationale to judge it coincidence There's little point in US pretending that everything is hunky-dory and hey it must be just simply a misunderstanding no it's you guys sabotaging Canada and other parts of the West. Indians don't believe your little propagandist in Chief here she's just being played by Modi's puppeteering little fingers. You know it's time we get our house in order in the Anglosphere is actually for reestablishing the British Empire or maybe an angle Empire of sorts with America Australia Canada New Zealand and all the rest of the gang and actually put some order back into this world that actually makes sense. we should have never abandoned our Empires and colonies we should actually kept them even stronger. Time to lock down our intellectual property again and not share any of future developments anymore. No more sharing such valuable with such ingrates. Lock down and do as much innovation as we can in the coming decades so that we can make centuries of progress in a few decades and then maybe get the advantage back again and then tell these people were never actually letting our guard ever again. let's make it a capital offense to share any intellectual property or technologies from the West to these assholes from now. Isn't it very curious that you won't talk embracing globalization free trade how quickly the West loss control over everything that I had and it's awesome under its aegis. How quickly companies like Nortel were totally destroyed and then we have a weird quickest tendency of something like Huawei. With obviously knock off the products that took a hell a lot of research and development for companies like Nortel who actually did the work to make. Let's see how well they're actually able to innovate when they actually no longer have access to the cookie jar. It pisses me off like we've done so much on this planet to actually push Humanity forward into a much more modern era where would be nice to travel to the Stars mind you like Country like we are nothing but Scoundrels and we had nothing but yeah. When you guys need the next revolutionary processor or whatever don't come with running to us because yeah I think we're about done in the West

As a indian this guys are nothing but betrayed their own nation. here india have a best college instead of they want to go other countries and study there and get job they dont have interest to develop their own nation. just go to foreign for study and get job their and then settled. ?. some of foreign studied student once go to the foreign they dont wanna come back to here. my message may be little bit rude but this is truth. we dont wanna this kind of people

I feel that guy from Ukraine. My wife is from Indonesia. She moved to the USA 3 years ago. She works 7 days a week at three jobs, somehow, happily and makes over $62k a year. I did not know that Canada was that hard off. Come down south brother. Cali is paying $20 an hour. I don't like California for my life but I would rather live there then get paid $3.50 for an uber delivery.

The truth is I’m Indian and I’ll tell you the truth because I was born here. You guys come and you destroy peoples economy you don’t contribute nothing other than take take take and you cheap everywhere. You don’t wanna spend a dollar unsporting the economy. Everything is about you guys taking taking taking taking go to hell back to where you came from.

Unfortunately Germany is not a very attractive place for immigrants for the reasons the guy mentioned. The bureaucracy is incredibly frustrating and it's not only for immigrants. I got offered a job by a very well known multi international company here and they expected me to do the visa application by myself, because they haven't dealt with it before and evidently not enough information was readily available for them to take on the process. Those who are planning to come to Germany I would say spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with how taxes will impact your salary. Insist on getting a dummy payslip with estimates of what your take home will be (because in Germany there are variables that could make an accurate estimate hard), research the average median expenses in the city or town you are moving to and be preperared to be the person who initiate contact with others. Learn the language which will make it easier to make friends (this will not happen over night as Germans by nature are not the warmest people), but in time yes. Find out whether your qualifications are comparable to those in Germany. You will be so surprise how many people don't do this check and waste their time doing courses that will not benefit them. I know it's incredibly hard to find out about this, like with everything else in this country, finding information on things isn't easy. You will need to speak to 4/5 different people, but it's worth it in the long run and saves you a lot of time.

Yeah Indian students come to Canada and empty food banks intended for Canadians, occupy rental houses needed for Canadian families, and take all service jobs making it hard for Canadian born students to find part time work.... They also get free services paif for by Canadian taxpayers for Canadian citizens... Canada gets ripped off by students of every race and nationality.... Canadians getting totally fed up. Foreign workers need to be reduced and Trudeau should be the first guy kicked out.

I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. We can’t blame them, because this is the offer they get from here. \nBut even though I am from India, I have enough from Indian people here in Canada. I always questioned the people from India either you guys respect the culture here or please go back. The reason I love Canada is Canadians are so pleasant and so helpful. I don’t like not only Indians but anyone who is coming to Canada, if you love the country that the country you are not living please leave and don’t mess up this country. Leave your Culture back home. Your festival do it inside of your house don’t block the streets. Keep your Gods inside your home, everyone is not enjoying that what you doing. You know guys I am coming to Canada 7 years ago but with my children and my wife but it is the biggest mistake on my life I know 11 County Canada from autsayd it's good County but the worst bad County it's organized systematic modern slave migrant and international students I am working 14 hours per day but I cover 60% of my family spending monthly 40 %I need credit cards it's 20 % interest but I am milking cows for the banks of Canada they are enjoying aware interest

Governments are lying to potential immigrants. I work with a guy who said he was told that his qualifications would be recognized when he landed and to not worry about anything. Upon arrival he applied for a job in his field and was told that his qualifications were not recognized. He was then told that he wold have to complete the equivalent of 4 years night school to receive accreditation. He wonders why he came but cant afford relocate back to his original home since it was sold and they used everything to come to a western country. He wasnt prepared for the cost of living and is now stuck in a country even he doesn't want to be in.

I'm amazed by the check list that goes on in people's minds. You can't predict the future and even your Soviet union stopped at 5 year plans. I left Canada on a whim in 1994. I never thought I couldn't come back if I wanted or needed to. My bet is you met a guy in Serbia (let's say) and want to be in a reasonable place where it's financially possible to build a home and start a family. Canada has seriously failed the 33 year old demographic, that's the truth, and doesn't deserve your gratitude. I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The entitlement ?….if something is on sale they don’t understand to take just one or two, they have to take the entire box so no one else can get it. \nI his list never ends and they don’t understand why people don’t want them living in their countries. It’s not just Germany it’s everywhere. \nHow do you expect people to like you when you make it difficult to do so.

I saw a movie once where this guy wouldn’t come out of the building he was in. The authorities tried talking with him, negotiating, cajoling him etc etc. finally they sent in a robot with 20 pounds of C4 strapped to it. Guy refused to leave, refused to leave, refused, refused…. Then there wasn’t enough of the guy to argue with. Totally random thought. Nothing to do with this video. I just thought of it. It was a good movie. I wish I remembered what it was called.

Grew up in Toronto, worked in HK for a couple decades and now back in Toronto. I've never felt this unsafe especially downtown, ever. I feel more unsafe downtown now than when I was growing up in Rexdale. And it's not just the pot smell blowing into restaurants when you just wanna have a nice meal with family, it's the damn noise. Hello Alina, I have been to Toronto in 2007, and I can honestly say, I did not like it. I have my cousin in Vancouver, and after staying there for so long. Has decided to come back to Perth. If I was a young guy, Thailand would be my choice to live. I have just come back from Koh Samui, After spending 8 nights on that beautiful Island. I have met a lot of people from all walks of life. There are lots of people setling in Thailand today. Americans, English, Swedish, people from Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Norway and so on. I had the pleasure of seeing Lilly, her husband Wat, and her gorgeous 3 kids, her nanny, and her son. The food is so cheap, everybody smiles. Not like here in Perth. The weather was exceptionally beautiful. It rained mainly at night, and once during the day. Alina, whatever you decide to do. Do it wisely. I wish you all the best. Your main aim is to be happy. My fellow non-Germans….Don’t make the mistake of coming to Germany right now. The country will sooner or later have a crisis due to its politics and their companies falling behind in competitiveness due to incompetence and arrogance. Instead of blaming themselves, they will blame immigrants, including you. Also, if you are a qualified foreigner, you will have to come to terms with being a second class resident, watching how natives enjoy their life and expect you to do their work. Only “luxury jobs” with a strong union like IG Metall will ensure you a fair treatment. But most of these jobs are occupied by 55+ yo people that are waiting for retirement without innovating or contributing absolutely nothing to their company. \nThe woman in the video is happy because she married a local (for love of course). With her low salary as a nurse she would be absolutely miserable and lonely. The Indian guy has a family, and well, he comes from India.

For one educated enginner or a doctor there comes 99 manual workers who benefit only factory owners who do not need to offer better salaries. Immigrants are accept lower oay cause they rent one flat with 5 other guys and dont usually do not have families here.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. I have so many Canadian friends who love me as much as I love them. immigration is the sold out left wings peoples way to please there corporate overlords. i am a hardcore union and labour guy flooding the work market with immigration workers limits our ability to negotiate for better pay meaning companies can take more.\n\ni am not against immigration in total to have growth in the west and fill in the birth shortfalls we need immigrants. but the amount the west has taken in is much greater than we can expect grow and only causes us to get homelessness and gettos while the haves struggles to raise wages. what the common man wants is reasonable figures of immigrations and due to the flood might mean the coming years 0 immigrants is on the table.

No standards in terms of who we bring into the country, it's mostly people who are here to exploit the system or don't contribute in any way. It's just the government doing this unchecked and banks and others lobbying for it because it's just untapped source of victims they can exploit as well. Then there just isn't enough housing available, that's no secret. So for people like this Daniel Bernhard guy to say it isn't the massive influx of people causing any issues is incredibly disingenuous. \nIf you increase immigration, be more selective and not all from the same country. There needs to be more control over the entire immigration system so it doesn't spiral out of control and now everyone is suffering, not just those coming to this country.

Amazing it took this long to figure it out. El Chapo was running drugs down thru Canada for decades. Heroin to Seattle and Cocaine to Chicago. What appears to be a problem is actually a solution.

The cartel guys are resourceful, they probably charge the same but less hassle to use the northern border. If I would be the cartel I would send endless amount of people and charge them when they have arrived at the destination. As NY give them money I would take 10% for the first year for example. Easy money and not illegal. As long as the money keep coming the people will turn up.

As a Canadian I’d like to say that our “Leader” and all his wisdom hasn’t only hurt you guys with this situation but he has been ruining our living conditions for nearly a decade now, we are trying to get rid of him and hopefully the new guy that’s embarrassing him will make things right. I wonder if both countries can make an arrangement after the next elections to create a secure border between Canada and America, I also agree that people coming from hot areas will definitely NOT be prepared for our Winters….I think only Russia and Nordic/Slavic countries can equal our Winters.

I was in the service Ontario office in eastern Ontario and six people out of 10 in the waiting room were non-Canadians. Most of them were coming from Brampton six hours away to come do a change of address and the guy at the counter told me they’re all being reported. These are all scammers wanting to scam our system.
