It's an immigrant quota goverment tax scam. They need self sustained educated immigrants to raise tax money for the locals without being a burden for the government. Once in Canada they don't care how you do. As far as technical or high pay occupations they are controlled by unions which make gualifying degree holder immigrants pay exorbitants amounts of money and go though so much red tape that make it almost impossible for them to practice in their field. Their degree qualifies them to come to Canada, that's all. Once in the degrees even if better than Canada's standards, they are worthless. Engineering, medical fields are run by unions whose only purpose is to ensure Canadian born high payed proffesionals in those fields and others are guaranteed a lavish life through an endless pool of ever growing customers for a short list of elite board certified providers. It's a scam, a well thought one red seal approved by Ottawa. Get your foot in the country to escape the hell in your origin country, work through towards your citizenship which is always handy to have and bail out for better opportunities else where outside Canada. My two cents anyway.

Don't go outside and mingle with a yone, you will get caught up in drama,drug addicts are roaming looking for people they can victiumize,victimize, people know the only reason people try to talk to each other is to try and gain something off someone else.americans know to avoid migrants because of drama crime and scams. They all know about the emails from Nigeria scamming them out of money.

Before calling anyone racist ask your self this question. How many people get scammed every year every month every day by someone that has a Hindu accent? People is afraid now when making a phone call to any business and a person with a Hindu accent answers. Now think of how many good people out here that have an accent in their English get the short end of the stick.

Its depressing and alienating when your job sector gets flooded by more workers when it already underpays and has hard competition for decent jobs.\n\nPeople are great no matter where they come from, but the policies makes coming here quite the scam. Its better than a lot of places, but the average canadian is getting poorer and poorer and the ceiling of success is very low too.

I am international student study an advance diploma in Ottawa. I have lived in many different countries in my life and I just want to get the hell out of this frozen and boooriiingggggg place. all the jobs in this town are for the governments and the international students are been told that if they come to this town they will get a lot of opportunities in the tech sector which is a lie, because you need to have friends in the government. I see many of my friend ending up working in Walmart after paying a large sum of money for their education, this country is an scam . I am graduating soon so I will save some money and continue my studies in USA and not come back here.

There are also fake refugee scams, many people from China, USA, Africa, Middle East are not real refugees, they have decent lives in their own countries, however, they can't immigrate through legal ways, either they are too old or they don't have enough work experiences or educations, they cheated and they claimed that they are refugees. They are not real refugees, CANADA, PLEASE DO NOT GET CHEATED EASILY !

I don't get it. What do Wang's clients get out of participating in his scam? If they don't want to live in Canada, why do they go there. What am I missing?

We all know under this trudua's liberal government whole immigration system run on fake documents and scams:(.it was happening before 2014 secretly and now it is happening openly by Chinese and Indian immigrants and it is quiet visible in cities like Vancouver and Toronto. All of the businesses provide fake job letters to get them work permits and get a permanent residents.hopefully government become a bit strict on immigration and stop all of this mess.

Silly citizen people, don't you know who is really making money off of these illegals, money laundered to them from this scam that's why they only get a slap on the wrist cause they want the scam and fraud to continue so they keep getting that laundered money, same thing happening in USA. many scams happened like ex USSR citizens pretending to be of Jewish decent that went to Israel applied here under the economic refugee aspect lol 100000+ made it before the loop was closed I was told by people in the industry in the nineties and then Filipino nanny scam do 2 years apply within work for less to get past 24 months bring the entire family while educated Filipinos do not get the chance so middle agents brought thousands under the temporary worker umbrella and milked thousands of people

As a permanent resident based on merit who worked two years to get it, I feel like my work was worthless because people who simply bought their citizenship and can’t even speak English or have any basic merits to qualify for PR are all too common in Canada. The Canadian skilled migration is a scam, skilled workers are better off going somewhere they will actually be valued.

Also thousands of Chinese underage children are brought here and left with 'fake relatives' all Living together even though not related. They attend Chinese 'schools' that are in office buildings mainly in Scarborough and North York. They come here to attend these 'fake high schools' so they can eventually take the IELTS English test to get into University. Works closely with these FAKE Chinese high schools with students who are underage and entering with fake id or varying levels. the MYETC is an IELTS company that tests the Chinese High School students but doesn't follow the REAL British Council Rules and the seating is millimetres apart in dirty classrooms where these kids spend their days. This is happening in Australia but we've become a soft target ,try doing the same thing in China and you'd be locked up for life if not executed .Anyone whose visited China will know that scamming is a way of life .You get into a taxi and you receive counterfeit change back , you buy 3Kg of apples and when you get home it only weighs 2.5 kg . And if you happen to get married to a Chines citizen you cannot become one and your visa has to be renewed every 3 years or revoked and you have to leave.

I watch the border crossing show sometimes and when they come back from “vacationing “ in China and pretend that they haven’t brought anything with them and when their bags are inspected they have tons of stuff and have way exceeded the limits and they barely get a verbal reprimand. Let me see a Canadian whose family has been here for 9 generations get away with this. They are dishonest, money laundering scam artists. Yet, Canada still welcomes them with open arms. When will the Canadian government wake up? Having them take over this country is an insult to hard working Canadians and other honest immigrants. When they commit a crime of any type they should be deported. They’re always bragging about how rich their country is, then why do they want to come here? We haven’t invaded their country! where did jose get 15,000 dollars , is Jose one of the people from central america that scammed the IRS BY CLAIMING 6 KIDS IN SAN SALVADOR, They raked in millions with that scam ? Where did Jose get a SS# to work in the USA , did he steal someones I.D.

Facts much? Canada allows anyone to live in Canada for a year on the tax payers dime as long as they submit a refugee claim. The Canadian public is paying upwards of $60,000 CAD for each of these claimants living costs which is more than what many Canadians make in a year. Additionally if these claimants' claims are refused they simply leave for a day, come back and start the process all over again, again getting to live in Canada for a year on the tax payers back. What a great scam.
