Canada's Cost of living is Joke compares to here in Sri lanka an Average Srilankan Salary is 200$ per month but 1 liter petrol cost more than 1$ imagine how hard it is live here in Sri lanka not only that we import 90% things foreign Countries so Food,Electronics, etc are unimaginably Expensive for example our Government is adding 300% Tax for Vehicles .even though I'm earning 6000$ per month its still not enough for my needs I have to pay like 60000$ to get Canadian Visa But I don't wanna disrespected by some Racist scumbags I'll do anything against people who disrespected me untill they say sorry to me because to me Respect is Everything in My country we Respect Every one we still have Scumbag Human being they are like less than 1% . your Information is very useful for me I'll never come to Canada I was ready to get the Canadian Visa thank you for saving me

Two vacation and the employer also tells you you can't go in summer because the summer is peak season and you can't take two weeks together too. And just for your info US is not Black friendly. And most of people who come here are from third world and poor countries. And for them Canada is heaven. Do you think people from developed countries would come here no. So that is people get stuck here because they don't have any other option.

Of course they will go back home if the conditions in Nigeria improves. They are all saying that now because of the situation and yet there are still people going back home. If you ask the same question of citizens whose country's conditions are not favourable they will give you the same answers.

You both make valid points about Canada. I am 2nd generation Canadian. I do feel like its expensive here and Even I have a hard time landing a job. (Recently got laid off from my career job, they said I didn't have enough experience to work there). My friends who aren't single and live with their partner, have an easier time living here compared to people who are single & living by themselves. \n\nNight life is boring here. However, daytime life specially in the summer is better. I feel like Canada is more for an outdoor person. Depending where you live, there are beaches, mountains, trails, & lakes to explore. Some parts of Canada even look tropical! We have hot springs here as well!\n\nFor the leisure & work life balance, I feel like that depends on the person. I used to work 2 jobs (not because I was bored or needed the money at the time), I just wanted to save more money & help my friend out with his business. I felt like I had good balance of work & leisure. I hanged out with my friends on Friday & Saturdays then I had my 'me' days on Sundays.\n\nIf you are going to move here, do your research, also I don't think people consider their countries dollar into the equation, what I mean is, if you want to convert your money to Canadian... you might have less money then you have. Example, at this moment, 1 Mexican Peso is 0.066 Canadian dollars, therefor people coming from Mexico might have a hard time afford things in Canada compared to a person who is moving from USA. (1 USA Dollar = 1.31 Canadian Dollar).\n\n\nO btw, I love both you hair!!~

Be careful. In this video you both sound like spoiled brats. Many people in your home country would do almost anything to trade places with either of you. It sounds like you would both be happier if you went back home. When you get there please contribute some of what you learned in Canada to the people around you. But before you leave please be sure to thank the Canadian government officials and the other Canadians who helped to make it possible for you to reside in Canada legally. You should both remember that there are millions of illegal immigrants in the US and Europe who would gladly trade places with either of you. By the way, I am not Canadian. Sounds like the top priority for African countries to retain its people is politics, safety and stability.

Black is an ethnicity thing. And its the only thing us African desendants have to identify ourselves. To be honest you are not black until you are around other people. I call African's by their country or African. I never call them black. It makes no sense to me. Same race, but you guys have separate history. Like calling a Mexican yellow, despite them being close to Turks/Mongols.

It’s funny a lot of people are leaving there homeland, and even when they get a good education they never return to help their homeland. Also you complain about the healthcare yet in African countries have the worst healthcare at least you can wait for healthcare while Africa don’t have any proper health care you die waiting. Another thing is that there is racism in every country even between light skin and dark skin African there is racism. Another is that if you go to any other country in the world you still need certification from them. What you all are talking about happens in every country. Lastly I don’t think no one is forcing you to stay in their country.

Hmmmmm,what we fail to understand is that people joined hands to make Canada what it is. For some of them they cheated the Nigerian system to move to Canada and they are there behaving like Canada is heaven. If you were asked to pay tax in Nigeria most of you will evade it. I think blacks love being second class citizens and is never willing to fight for what is good. I live over sea my self but I do is what part can I play to make the country livable where my children are kings and queens in their God given land

One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

You started the video with an opinion not a fact. You can In fact gain wealth here. You have access to RRSPs and tax Free Savings accounts to help with Taxea for people earning over 6 figures. No one has tries to take your money, the policies are clear as day. You also have access to the Canadian stock market where they will allow you to keep 50% of your excess and tax the other 50%. Your statement needs way more context and a broader discussion. Stil love the video but we need to state all the facts. Also the mentality of me paying taxes and taking care of people is what causes my home country on Jamaica to be in trouble. Your little tax money ain't taking care of anyone. There are over 23 million people here trust me we are giving cents to initiatives in Canada. Quality of life, Security, Health Care, Children Support, Old Age Pension, access to great jobs if you are will to put in the work and start over. Again we can't come here and expect to just fall in. This is the all true allover western countries people are program like robot even here in Holland and Belgium, discrimination, police injustice, lack of respect for your colour and your Africa diploma's is just the same. We had been misused and missed educated till now many African heads of government officials are still blind and deaf. My advice is if you have any money with your slave certificate to start your life back home better than to relocate and register as a new slave in the Western world. Very interesting views. I don't live in Canada. My views, high taxes are unreasonable but at the same time it ensures that everyone gets a quality of life especially in terms of health care. Two weeks leave is ridiculous it is unreachable.\n\nI also think that all that glitters is not gold (in terms of leaving Canada and going elsewhere) I and a lot of people living in other countries would give all they have to leave and go somewhere else where they can work and earn money to buy what they need. I have to respectfully disagree with you girls on the tax system in Canada. You mention that you cannot be a millionaire or a billionaire. \n\nI really think that is the problem with our generation, excessive greed, everyone wants to be a millionaire/billionaire, but the reality is most of people in this world will only live an average middle class life or below, that has been the case throughout history in every country on earth. \n\nInstead of wanting to be a millionaire you should strive follow your passion and to master your craft, and if and when you do so, the end result maybe you achieving millionaire billionaire status \n\nThis how most rich people got their wealth, they worked at their craft and had passion and eventually they got the wealth that came along with it \n\nI agree with Canada's progressive tax system, the only problems we have run into since 2010 is that the government has been misallocating taxes collected and giving co-operate tax breaks. But the principle of the progressive tax system makes sense, because up until recently (2010ish) it prevented the nation's wealth from accumulating at the top and in the process increased the velocity of money.\n\n This enabled business to thrive because money was constantly changing hands instead of being concentrated at the top. \n\nThis had an overall effect of enabling most Canadians to join the middle class and in turn make Canada an attractive destination for many immigrants including your selves \n\nIf Canadian system did not have a progressive tax system, there would be gross inequality with all the associated problems (crime/drugs etc). \n\nI really think prospective immigrants should be realistic about their expectations before moving to Canada to avoid dissatisfaction. \n\nIf you could not be a millionaire in the country you were born in and of which culture you belong, but some how you believe that you can move half a world away and become a millionaire. \n\nYou know part of the reason you could not even achieve middle income statust in Africa (I am from Africa as well) let alone be a millionaire is because all the wealth in most African countries is concentrated in the hands of a few corrupt bastards in the government. \n\nThis concentration of wealth at the top is possible when there is no progressive tax system and ensures economic equilibrium in all sectors of the economy\n\nIt is the reason why there is no jobs or opportunity for young people in developing countries \n\nDo not get me wrong you can still be a millionaire in Canada, but you will have to really earn it, there is no shortcuts in life\n\nPatience, passion and perseverance is the key.

At the end of the day Canada rates among the first 5 best countries to live in in terms of security, safety for everyone, acceptance regardless of race (comparatively), lesser drugs and violence issues (public gun attacks, high drugs issues). Today is better to move to a warm country. Life to too short to be in a freezing place. Immigration in Canada is you come you spend your money and....you go back. Immigration is a business. Money coming from abroad and at the end people leave......Think twice coming in Canada.

What i understand from a lot of people I know who've come here from abroad is that for them, the attractive thing about Canada is political stability, a functioning infrastructure and a lack of massive corruption. there's some pretty disgusting countries out there :(

Life in Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) is way better. \n\n2) Weather : rain during winter is really a BC thing, the rest of the country : is SNOW and cold for 4-5 months\n\n3) Again, the cost of living is super expensive in Vancouver and Toronto. Here, in Montréal, it’s affordable.\n\n4) The more taxes you pay means you are making good money. 50% of taxes is \n\n5) Canada is beautiful, but if you don’t like our country, why did you came here in the first place ? \n\n6) Covid : Mmm it was maybe extreme, but Canada is one of the country that manages the best the pandemic in the world \n\n7) Rules ? Try coming to South America where I was born. There’s a lot more rules there and good luck for your safety \n\n8) Politic ! We are actually one of the most democratic country in the world. People fighting about politics? For me this is fear. They are afraid to relate to each other, because people do not trust anyone. To me, America is a pressure cooker waiting to burst. Canada has no culture of its own. People from all around the world gathered here to escape wars, political issues, or for economic reasons from their home country. When honeymoon period is over (around 5 years) they start realizing that leaving behind their own people, culture, festivals, food, etc was not a good idea. Life in Canada (maybe in United States too) is very monotonous and robotic. Years and years go by\nand people are doing same thing over and over. Weather is very unpredictable to plan out anything in advanced. Due to bad weather entire country is designed to be indoors. People leave their wooden houses in cars to work in buildings with no open windows. Unless you leave in core downtown you won't see people on road as everybody is either in their vehicles, in their house, or slaving away at work. To all people who are looking to relocate to Canada: If you are doing well in your home country then do not leave. Life in western countries look good from far but when you live here it's different. Loneliness and depression will be your biggest enemy. Stay in your home country around your own culture and people.

In the US thousands of people go bankrupt each year due to medical bills. I don't think that this happens in Canada. I lived in 4 EU and 2Asian countries and I found that medical services are affordable and quite good compared to the US. Is Portugal really better than the US and Canada?

I suggest you go to Philippines. It’s more fun living there because its a beautiful county and people are kind, friendly and so much hospitable and that will enjoy staying there. Lots of traveling bloggers from other countries are coming there this time and as I have seen in YouTube, they enjoyed so much specially with the beautiful scenic the Philippine has.

Honestly, I don’t know how to describe and definite my experience. I came to Canada for my university education by the end of 2013 after I finished my high school in my hometown. That was my first time to go abroad, and living in a totally strange country all alone. New surroundings. New friends. New culture. English speaking. Everything is new for me, and I cannot figure out how I feel at that time, because it’s so complex. Both excited and afraid. In the next few years, I traveled among several different cities. Winnipeg. Vancouver. Toronto. I met many people and experienced lots of things. Some were good and warm, and some were not, and the worst thing was I found I cannot get used to my life in Canada. I don’t mean bad, but I still feel I’m an outsider. I cannot get in. Neither my life nor my schoolwork. So much loneliness. I left Canada and go back to my hometown by the August of 2017. There was nothing strange for me at first 2 years. Everything looks normal, but by the flying of time, I found myself cannot stop missing the old days and experience in Canada. Even the worst part looks so beautiful. I have no idea how could that happened.
