To the lady who is in the video pointing out all the bad stuff, where are you from? Let's talk about why you left your country. I don't get why people are so shocked we have homelessness in Canada, I guess people from other poorer countries overlook this part. Homelessness has been around for many decades now. Money doesn't grow on trees, you have to earn it my dear. I have lived in 2 cities and never had a hard time finding a doctor. My parent's immigrated here legally and they came from small mountain villages. They learned the language (not easy) they worked hard, and they never had to go on assistance. They bought their home paid it off had 3 kids and lived their life and never complained, maybe its because they came from a different generation. You have to look at the big picture.

Maybe this whole video demonstrates that all of us immigrants and immigrant children finally make all this money and get all this stuff, and yet we become unhappy because we realize all our work and worth is wasted on a land and people don't consider us a part of, I think it just creates conflict in our hearts and our heads.

You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

I live in Canada for 20 years, I volunteered in a shutter couple of times preparing and serving food, I haven't seen any black person that's homeless, Winnipeg to be a specific where I lived, where homeless is higher there, yet you showing black people in your video as homeless?! that's just tells me you are racist yourself. \nwhere I used to live, black people especially the immigrants are business owners, and they're hard working people. \nWe all know who are the homeless and why they are homeless not because they can't find job but because they have mental problems then they end up to drugs addictions. Even if the government gave them monthly allowance they used it for drugs. \n\nI wish them peace with in their souls and minds and get back into the right path.

This is the negative side to multiculturalism. No wonder why some countries have strict policies on immigrations. They don’t want to deal with this type of bs from people of a different culture.

I want to move from us to Canada, mean reason the immigration is broken in usa for Indian and I don’t want my Indian born kid to face same uncertainty . We are earning in upward of 500k and have to take massive pay cut. After reading the comments and watching videos. I’m getting so confuse. I’m okay to earn less money but Canada should at least provide better healthcare and housing. Look like lot of thing are broken in Canada. Does moving to Canada is really worth? Why haven't immigrants created their own organizations? We have Caribbean Community & West Indian Communities Events. Guys you have to pool together and create fun events with friends, friends& family, people with similar cultures or not. Organize & create a calender of fun activities for the short term as well as the long term. I think boredom is a choice. It has to do with certain mindset. Be creative. @CitImmCanada -I came to Canada in 2018 , paid my Tutiom fees working day and night offf , completed my graduation in 2020.I worked as manager in gas station from 2020-2022 during pandemic putting my life on risk , you guys first messed your immigration system during pandemic,after pandemic you got this absurd system of TR2PR , messed up your own system , in which there are Still millions of files pending , then you guys stopped the immigration for 1 year, still I thought it would get better with the time. When the immigration started back in this July the scores were so high that only PHD and people outside Canada with 0 canadian skills can only get the PR. You guys then gave visas to Afghanis , Ukrainians (the fake humanitarian help your government provides )which I don’t mind but the government should have fixed the people who are and we’re here , who came as students , who has all the details of the individuals , has all the experience needed , has all the potential needed to start the career , has 0 criminal record but no you guys keeps getting new and messed up plans. like seriously this country and system is run by this type of people. I live in a small town in Ontario with not many immigrants. I always hear people in the media or politics talking about minority groups and wonder if people from other places feel set apart. I find it a real challenge mentally to not think about it if I see someone who looks different from me…. Like it weighs on my mind, but meanwhile I just want to treat people the same… I think everyone who comes to Canada legally should feel like a part of the country. I’m tired of identity politics that separates more than brings together. I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

We can't even look after the immigrant we have now. There is housing shortage. There are no good paying jobs and rent is through the roof. What workforce he is talking about. Need more warehouse associates? There is no industry here the whole country is a giant warehouse. They want to bring in an additional 1.5 million people. The cost of living is so high that both parents need to work to live. It's hard to have kids when mom and dad are both working full time jobs, barely getting by and day care is also expensive. We need to incentivize kids to pursue trade jobs instead of dancing on tik tok. We also need to protect traditional Canadian identity. Immigration at that rate will rapidly change our demographics with people from cultures very different from Canada's. We will no longer have common holidays that all Canadians celebrate. Unity will be over. Will any mainstream politicians actually speak up about this?

Its one thing to bring in immigrants but if we don't locate them properly our cities become overloaded with people not wanting to assimilate and learn the language. Northern areas need workers and we should be able to tell these people where they will live.

But comparing those countries and Canada when it comes to standard of living the latter looks like basket case. Terribly functioning health care, high unemployment, people living on the streets and now shortages of certain food items in stores. Not to mention the housing market where it is impossible for working people to buy a place because it was left to the speculators from abroad. To make it clear, I am not against immigration, but sanity has to return in place of ideological madness and vote buying.

The past decade of immigrating 300,000 people each year has resulted in a housing crisis, healthcare crisis, poverty crisis and a chronic labor shortage. How is our health care system going to handle an extra 500k people coming to Canada every year. We have a serious health care crisis happening here. I don't even have a doctor and I expect I will never have a family doctor ever again. I also expect that the Canadian Government will make sure every Immigrant who comes to Canada will have a family doctor or some special set up for them to make sure they can get their health taken care of. While the rest of us who were born in Canada will be left on the sides for at least 40 years as it's going to take at least 40 years of making sure we train and attract as many new doctors as we can. It is going to take a long time due to the Government of Canada let this issue go without doing anything about the degradation of our health care for the past 20 years. It will soon become normal for multiple people to die every week while waiting in emergency rooms for help due to wait times of 72 hours or more on a regular basis. Its been in the news several times this year already but soon it will be in the news every week.

Why do people love to immigrate to countries like the US and Canada, \n- but never China?? ?

Those 500,000 immigrants are going to be ultra disappointed when they find out after about one year that they would have been better off staying in their home country. Word on the street is a large chunk of these people move back home after only a short while because they realize that 40% of their Canadian paychecks will be eroded due to taxes and deductions, and then another 5-12% taxed when they go to the grocery store to spend their already taxed money.

This means that they will bring more immigrants and tell them they can't work because they don't have Canadian experience. Physicians will end up working as drivers and then people will have to wait for months for a doctor or a surgery. Teachers from other countries won't find work . Let's bring in more immigrants while every place is short staffed and increase wait times for every single thing from buying a coffee to finding a family doctor. Toronto has no more capacity for people. First improve the quality of life for those who are here and then bring new people. I still don't know what a doctor, a teacher, a mechanic, a nurse, ...........with Canadian experience knows that other people doing these jobs outside of Canada cannot do. Probably just a way to keep people back so they pay for college or university education and end up thousands of dollars in debt and still not be able to find the profession that they have been trained for back home for years.

I am an immigrant myself and came here through Express Entry, before that I studied in the U.S. I am all for Immigration but with recent events, I think the government should spend more time on the cost of living crisis and housing crisis. What I am proposing is we make room and keep cost low if we are to bring in more immigrants. The hard to find workers argument is basically people not working low paying jobs, most of these immigrants will be educated, have degrees and mostly in Finance or Tech fields, the talent in these fields are saturated and it's very hard to have job mobility in these sectors. I am not for kicking the ladder down once I made it, I am just saying we should focus on cost of living and housing so that these immigrants can succeed and better contribute when they come here, instead of living in the living room because they can't afford rent in the cities and not finding work since most are in saturated fields.

How about housing bring all these immigrants at once we can't it be implemented over the next 10 years why does it have to be in the next 3 years this puts pressure on housing and drives up the cost of housing the reasons we have a mass amount of people living on the streets now because it's become unaffordable.

How can the government support 500,000 immigrants a year when statistics show immigrants haven't been able to reach a decent level of economic integration since 2003? This is especially concerning if the government wants to bring people to cover dead-end jobs with minimum wage, part-time schedules, no rights and no benefits, or programmes like the live-in care giver or seasonal workers that put vulnerable people in legal slavery. On top of that, the current population that lives under the poverty line, and those who are entering that socio-economic level as a result of housing bidding wars and inflation, think it would be more effective to create policy to eliminate poverty rather than bringing in more people to join it, which at the end, only benefit corporations.

Right now, we need fewer immigrants, not more. It is irresponsible to be opening the floodgates to immigration when we do not have enough affordable housing for them to live in. Where are they going to live? Under the current system, we have more new Canadians bidding up the prices on a limited supply of housing. To say that increased immigration will build MORE houses is just not true. Since 2000, Canada has brought in 5 956 963 immigrants; (Source Statista). During that same period that we brought in almost 6 million new immigrants, Canada’s housing situation has deteriorated to the point so that people are unable to find affordable housing. Forty-year old’s are living in their parents basements because they cannot afford a house or rent an apartment. If 6 million new Canadians only makes housing worse, what will opening the flood gates do? No, we need to fix our problems at home. Ensure that there is enough housing for people to move into before bringing them into Canada.

The problem is apparently the lack of people in Canada having kids. Some are trying, but unable (infertile for whatever reason), while others don't want children for various reasons, including the cost to raise them. So the government is resorting to ever increasing numbers of immigration to supply the economy with workers. This has been going on for quite a long time, though the numbers have increased dramatically in recent years. I wonder if the government has statistics on the success rate of those they bring into the country? And others have posted here the question of being able to deliver the services all these new comers will need. It's a valid concern.

New immigrants are what drives the economy with whatever money they bring here and spend buying cars, furniture, basic necessities and if possible houses or condos. Canada has a declining birth rate. What jobs is this guy talking about? Do a job search. There is no manufacturing in Canada. If any are kept in North America will go to Mexico. White people blame China where people are willing to work hard for less and no union formation or complaints. He does not mention the fees visa students pay which is 5 times Canadian Students pay at university or college is used to offset Canadian students so they pay low tuition fees. Knowing the real reason Canada needs visa and immigrants and how much money it generates just by the application fee, immigrants and visa students don't owe Canada nothing and other countries should adopt the same strategy to attract immigrants. Unfortunately the majority of Canadians are English, Scottish, and Irish which are racist blaming Canada's economic and job problems on immigrants. The majority think they are entitled and ignorant and arrogant. That's why they are called mange cake and Malakas and other names by immigrant groups. That is why you have China towns, Greek towns, Italian, Portuguese, INDIA , Jewish and other ethnic towns and ethnic communities don't visit small white towns or move to other provinces. Canada clean up your problem.

Why cant we meet our Paris Agreement numbers?? Because our government is bringing in more immigrants that need housing (cutting down trees), that need to get to places that cars need to be used to get to, that need to build new sewage treatment plants, that breathe in more air.\nYes! With more people coming into the country, our greenhouse gas emissions go up, so what does this government do?? Increase the carbon tax thats supposed to be used to fight climate change. Great scheme, increase carbon emissions by increasing our population so we have all the excuse in the world to increase the carbon tax at a time when energy prices are at a record high.

Immigration needs to be more inclusive but at the same time, selecting those who are like minded, ie more Christians. STOP bringing people here that don't like our way of living and are in essence trying change this country into the country they were fleeing in the first place.

Why? That's 5 million people every decade. Canada needs an immigration pause, to allow it to properly deal with the huge amount of immigration in the past 25 years. This only benefits the builders, the banks, the realtors etc., not the average Canadian. At this rate Ontario will start to look like Greater London, or Tokyo or some other metropolis - just a deeply dysfunctional one with crappy public transport. We didn't vote to lose the Canada that we love, and Trudeau doesn't have a mandate to destroy it. We can also kiss goodbye to our greenhouse gas emission targets with such a growth in population.
