Well the governments of Canada have made it illegal for us to express our views. As a white English Canadian I don't think most of us hate people because they came from abroad. If people came to Canada and actually became Canadians I don't think 90% of people have an issue with that. The problem is people are coming here and are not assimilating. Especially the people from Asian and African nations. But this is not surprising to me because their culture is so different from ours. I would prefer immigrants came from northern Europe especially the British Isles and France due to having a shared history, values, and culture similar to Canada. \n\nThe other issue is mass immigration mostly only benefits wealthy people because they get cheap labour. People coming from countries with a much lower standard of living are used to earning less and living with less so they depress wages for working people here. The so called skilled immigrants that our government tells us will solve all of our nations problems are not. No one recognizes their skills here so they end up taking jobs away from other Canadians. \n\nI think Canada's solution would be to stop relying on foreigners and invest in Canadian people. I would cut immigration levels by 75%. I would limit immigrant applicants to make up only 5% from one country. Also we should only allow Canadian citizens to own property. Dual citizenship should be eliminated. You should only be loyal to Canada. \n\nThe government should also stop spending money on Black lives Matter, criminals, drug addicts, and other socialist non-sense. Government spending and taxes should be cut in half and free enterprise should be encouraged. We should be using money towards infrastructure and education. We should be training Canadians to become engineers, doctors, and skilled tradesmen. I would rather invest in our own people that try to accommodate foreigners.

A very bad policy that will only serve to exacerbate the affordable housing crisis and create even more social tensions and environmental degradation. The government is increasing the number of immigrants to serve an ideology of ever increasing economic growth, which simply means ever increasing levels of production and consumption with the natural consequences of rising levels of pollution, vanishing pristine areas, shrinking wildlife populations and forest cover, etc, etc. Do we really want to be a country so committed to American style economic policies that we will give away all that is sacred and unique about our land so that the government has a larger tax base?

I would also say the big divide between English and French. In Ottawa, almost all the people in top government jobs are held by bilingual Quebecers who look down on ordinary Canadians. If you're an immigrant who plans to work for the federal government, and work really hard on your French, you still get discriminated on your accent on French.

Difficult to get decent job for immigrants. Housing is so expensive. For some reason if you face housing problem with your landlord, and got eviction, no one would accept you to rent their home, you would eventually become homeless; so to become homeless is very easy in Canada once your credit is bad.

I am so thankful to Ottawa for making Canadian immigration much easier for skilled workers. Living abroad is literally a dream for so many Indians including me.

Canada is graduating more doctors now than ever before. The problem is that the good ones leave for better salary and opportunities. What we're left with are the crappy doctors who could not land a job in the private sector if their lives depended on it. Hence the results of our present system. The thing I don't understand is that you have citizens who have been living here for generations, fought and died in wars to protect our prosperity, paid taxes, etc but yet an immigrant will get a GP before them. Something is wrong with that! Nothing against immigrants btw, it's not their fault. But on an ethical level this should not be occurring. Here in Quebec you will also be discriminated against when seeking healthcare if you are not white and French speaking. So don't come here if you don't fall under that demographic. I don't get why people are so shocked we have homelessness in Canada, I guess people from other poorer countries overlook this part. Homelessness has been around for many decades now. Money doesn't grow on trees, you have to earn it my dear. I have lived in 2 cities and never had a hard time finding a doctor. My parent's immigrated here legally and they came from small mountain villages. They learned the language (not easy) they worked hard, and they never had to go on assistance. They bought their home paid it off had 3 kids and lived their life and never complained, maybe its because they came from a different generation. You have to look at the big picture.

The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

as a Canadian of colour, I was a bit nervous about two non-visible minorities talking about racism, but you two were bang on. Good job on the video as a whole! It's very accurate. By the way, I actually haven't lived in Canada myself for about a decade now. Also - my mother was a doctor in her country, but wasn't allowed to practice medicine in Canada for almost her whole career, despite us desperately needing qualified doctors. It's just crazy. So many doctors immigrate to Canada, and yet they're not allowed to practice. They should at least allow doctors who have studied abroad to write a qualifying test to practice medicine so everyone can benefit. But most medical associations are very protective of their professional turf.

I understand. Process is not so difficult. But there are so many tiny details which is very important in your application.see it's like we all know how to cut bones and body etc. But still we go to the doctor because they are expert and they have done some studies in it. So its same thing with immigration companies.(Genuine companies) we can apply but there are chances to reject your application. And I am not an agent guys?? honest opinion.

You really cant see how its immigration trends of the last 3-4 decades that's ruining this country, can you? Our government is treating its founding citizens and their descendants as if they are living in a vassal state, and are now ramping up the flooding of cheap labour to stifle wages and wipe out the middle class to create a serf class while our resources get extracted to benefit a handful at the top. Canada has been my dream country to immigrate all my life as skilled worker, I tried severally but visa was denied, my uncle referred me to an Authorized immigration consultant, I was skeptical about immigration consultants because of there fraudulent act but I decided to give him a try, I contacted him and started my work visa processing with Mr Ethan Ray, he guided me all through luckily my visa was approved. @CitImmCanada -I came to Canada in 2018 , paid my Tutiom fees working day and night offf , completed my graduation in 2020.I worked as manager in gas station from 2020-2022 during pandemic putting my life on risk , you guys first messed your immigration system during pandemic,after pandemic you got this absurd system of TR2PR , messed up your own system , in which there are Still millions of files pending , then you guys stopped the immigration for 1 year, still I thought it would get better with the time. When the immigration started back in this July the scores were so high that only PHD and people outside Canada with 0 canadian skills can only get the PR. You guys then gave visas to Afghanis , Ukrainians (the fake humanitarian help your government provides )which I don’t mind but the government should have fixed the people who are and we’re here , who came as students , who has all the details of the individuals , has all the experience needed , has all the potential needed to start the career , has 0 criminal record but no you guys keeps getting new and messed up plans. like seriously this country and system is run by this type of people. Nope. Couldn't disagree more. As a child of immigrants I'm a first generation Canadian. My parents left everything behind in the late 60s in order to have a better life. I'm extremely proud and grateful to call myself a Canadian. I'm grateful for the freedom in this country I'm grateful for the sacrifices my parents made in order to offer us kids a better life. I've traveled to my parents home country several times\nI've traveled across the world all through my 20s and I can legit say, thank God for Canada. It's too bad you've experienced such hardship. I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. Canadians, especially professionals earn 20-30% less than Americans in the same job (with the exception of teachers and police which earn 20-30% more) and pay more incomes taxes. Prior to the election of Justin's father (Pierre), Canada had a very strong manufacturing sector, strong financial sector, we had a technology leadership position in many sectors, and a dollar that was consistently as stronger or stronger than the US dollar. Now even our resource sectors are struggling. Our economy is dependent on real estate speculation and borrowing. God help us when the 10 million baby boomers retire - bankrupt Canada!!

Thus, in the meantime, they do not work since without a work permit. And who should take care of it in the meantime? The Trudeau government is irresponsible!

Its one thing to bring in immigrants but if we don't locate them properly our cities become overloaded with people not wanting to assimilate and learn the language. Northern areas need workers and we should be able to tell these people where they will live.

But comparing those countries and Canada when it comes to standard of living the latter looks like basket case. Terribly functioning health care, high unemployment, people living on the streets and now shortages of certain food items in stores. Those 500,000 immigrants are going to be ultra disappointed when they find out after about one year that they would have been better off staying in their home country. Word on the street is a large chunk of these people move back home after only a short while because they realize that 40% of their Canadian paychecks will be eroded due to taxes and deductions, and then another 5-12% taxed when they go to the grocery store to spend their already taxed money.
