Albeit, It's the last a decade or so of perpetuated Propaganda that has deluded people to think racism against Minorities is rampant , when it seriously isn't.\n\nMatter of fact, Canada over excessive Generosity and Tolerance on many levels , \nEconomically, Immigration Influx and Socialism has already Commenced Canada's inevitable downfall towards increasingly Poor Quality of life overall for most people, Now and in near coming Future. Although, most people prefer not to Acknowledge nor Prepare for it.

People in the comments who are claiming they came a long time ago and feel so good about Canada are the reason the costs of living is continually raising. They didn't understand Canadians were already making them pay more but to them it was normal now, even themselves they raise the rents of the real estate they had time to buy for low prices and feel they accomplished the dream but at the detriments of the new immigrants.

I just moved to Tomar, Portugal in December and I don't regret it. I worked out of Ottawa before, and it was starting to get really depressing. After COVID hit and I stayed working out of my basement, the isolation got to be a bit too much. It was getting to the point you couldn't even share an opinion with someone for fear of ostracizing yourself. I've already made new friends from a bunch of different countries, and the locals have been warm and welcoming. Very happy to start a new life here.

I am in Canada on an open work permit for almost 4 years and I already have a job now for 3.5 years in Canada. I am now applying for my PR. I understand I don't need an LMIA for my PR application because I was exempt on an open work permit and I've worked with my employer for over a year. Is this true? Should I submit my application without an LMIA? Secondly, once I am in the express entry pool, I can apply to PNP and update my express entry profile once I receive the PNP right?

That's so funny and true at the same time. Sadly, I was born in the falsely advertised 'Best place on Earth, 'Canada' and therefore, cannot claim asylum in any other country, so I will pass away alone in hospice with 5 other dying strangers. Luckily, I moved away just in time through the UK ancestry scheme and live my dreams with my partner I met in a home we bought in a city where I don't have to look at the price tags as I know it's already 6x cheaper than Canada! However, there's a catch in that you can only go back as far as your grandparents to use the Ancestry Escape Pod, so if your grandparents were born in Canada I wish you all the luck and who knows, maybe you'll eventually merge with the USA and freedom and happiness is yours. Life is better on the outside. I moved 15yrs ago and never look back. I calculated a week to visit my siblings in Canada costs the same as 6 months worth of mortgage payments (my share).

I just want point out the income and hate crime stats don’t necessarily prove any racism, a lot of immigrants end up making less money as there is already a lot of competition in the industry already and companies prefer experience in Canada itself, and the hate crime stats don’t prove much either as there will always be some racist people anywhere (and they are rarely race to their home country) so obviously the biggest minorities (the ones on the chart) will be more prone to hate crimes basically regardless of the amount of racism or the location\n (I’m not defending racism just pointing out facts)

Years ago, a low level employee in Indian consulate (San Francisco) deliberately kept giving me the run around. I finally hinted official complaint to Embassy in New York, including legal action. So I wanted to check with you, any idea when you applied for your parents together, did the application was approved together for your both parents? In my case, I kept my Father as primary applicant and he got approval but my mother application is still showing medical approved and hasn't even moved to Biometric received. I've lived In the US all my life. I was fortunate to come across my amazing wife who lives In Vancouver, BC. I was able to travel to Vancouver a lot since 2007 and I love the city. It's very beautiful, the people are decent, the houses are nice (yet expensive) and overall I like it up there. And you can't beat the free healthcare up there. I'm going to be moving from Chicago to Vancouver, BC in about a year cause my wife has had some medical issues and coming to the states won't work financially since she has medical issues already. I'm nervous yet excited. It's not that diverse when It comes to black people but I can get along with anybody. The tap water issue here in the U.S. is real. I already couldn't stand U.S. tap but after I got a water softner and an RO filter I can't drink regular tap outside of my house. Not to mention what that crap does to your skin and clothes. Some places are better than others but overall it's still not a good experience.

So I am originally from metro NY. I have to make that distinction because upstate is entirely different. When my husband was in the military we travelled a lot with domestically and internationally. Then we settled south. I can say that Preach is right about NY women being harder. However it is t just the women, and I will say it isn’t something we realize. I started working somewhere a good friend of mine had already settled. I was called into the office because my supervisor had gotten a complaint that they way I spoke to someone as rude. Additionally he got the same comment about my friend. While we thought we were being direct, it was being perceived as rude. That we needed to put a little more sugar in the way we spoke to people because that is what is customary there. I grew up in a more speak your mind and be clear, concise, and direct. Where my local co-workers were accustomed to a less direct and a softer approach. It’s something that I have had to really work on because I 100% never realized it about myself.

My first time in the US was in NYC and I already got mugged within a few days of staying...and got randomly racially harassed.

I used to drink water straight out of the tap (and water hose) when growing up in Connecticut. Living in the DFW area, and all the water tastes like garbage - filter 100% required! I moved from the U.S. to Canada. Some observations:\n1. It's unbelievably safe in Canada. The most dangerous places in Canada are still very safe compared to much of the U.S.\n2. Outside of DC and New York and I guess Chicago and L.A. in the U.S. and Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, you need a car. I disagree that city planning is that much better in Canada.\n3. The maternity leave in Canada is great \n4. The unemployment insurance in Canada is great too\n5. I prefer the Canadian health care system. I never experienced any long wait times. My wife had literal brain surgery and it was free whereas it would've been hundreds of thousands of dollars in the U.S.\n6. Canada is further to the left and is much more woke than the U.S. Everything here is about equity, diversity and inclusion. Even many Canadian conservatives would be moderates in the U.S. but most people know this already.\n7. There is a better work life balance in Canada. I worked a lot more when living in the U.S.\n8. Most Canadians live by the U.S. border  so the weather is not that different than most northern American states. But once you go to northern Canada, it is as cold as they say it is.\n9. The U.S. is better for making money.\n10. It is much more racially segregated in the U.S. \n11. Outside cities like Montreal and Toronto, Canada is very white.\n12. Things are much more spread out in Canada. When I lived in the U.S. driving for 1 hour to go somewhere was a long drive. In Canada, that is normal.\n13. Canada is pretty great if you like the outdoors. There's only 36 million people here and outside the major cities, you find small towns and the wilderness. \n14. Canadians are quite friendly. I know my neighbors in the country. I never knew my neighbors in the U.S.\n15. Canadian politics is boring and I like this. However, in the rural areas, it seems that people really hate Justin Trudeau.\n16. Since Canada is so similar to the U.S. it is very easy to adjust to life here.\n17. Outside of Quebec, you really don't need to speak French. \n18. The nationalism of the Quebecois is very surprising. There is no group in the U.S. this nationalistic.

Living in the city of Vienna for me, in an already safe country-with everything else that’s an advantage-I have never seen myself moving to the US: kindergarten, School, University and Healthcare is part of the national budget. The poor are housed, high minimum wage, mandated and protected leave, 14 full checks a year, very little homelessness and crime, tap water is literal spring water extracted straight form the mountains, food is so pure and organic I never gain weight, I don’t know why I’d ever leave Austria.

They're pretty good at diagnosing without even being able to see it, but pictures can be sent from what I understand.\nAnd, the pharmacist knows far more than the doctors. My wife was prescribed something by her doctor. She went to her pharmacist to fill the prescription. The pharmacist outright refused to fill that, and called the doctor asking why a prescription was made for something that will most definitely not work with another prescription she's already on.\n\nSo, go to a pharmacist and call the telehealth before going to a walk-in or ER, unless blood is spilling or person's unconscious.

Many people especially from states of Gujarat , Punjab , Andra Pradesh are desperate to move out of country because of social economic issues. The story did not end here, the Indians who are already in Canada are exploiting these poor students by increasing rent, forcing them to work illegally at a low wages. The only reason you should come live in Canada is if your FLEEING FOR YOUR LIFE or you're already rich. If you have little to no money you will have to settle in a small town. If you settle anywhere near a big city you are doomed, be ready to work 2-3 jobs and have no free time ever again. You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience.
