Canada is way tougher then the United States on immigration...in fact Trump would like to change the American system so it is more like Canada's. As a Canadian with a Honduran wife .. I tried to arrange a visit to Canada for my my wife and our small daughter and they rejected us...so I have lived in Honduras for the last 15 years.

Yes I ran into racial profiling when I wanted to ask why CBC is biased and won't report fairly. We argue sometimes about religion but mostly for the sake of discussion not a fight. But don't get fooled by the number of muslims here, we do not allow  any religious fundamentalism in our country. \nAnything that is not a part of our culture in Islam is being rejected. Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

Canada wants and needs people like that family who are here only to make a decent living and do not want to make trouble for us canadians...we are not racists but we don't like the muslims because they keep asking for special favors that are denied for us canadians and that is getting on the nerves of the population and Trudeau is the one responsible for this because he's the one who invited them over and now we are stuck with them because they are making trouble for us like they do all over the other countries who greeted them!!!But we intend to correct the situation by voting Trudeau and his liberals OUT and start cleaning up our country so it's livable again!

Canada should match the US requirements for citizenship. Live here for 10 years before you can apply. They're giving citizenships out like candies.
