I have a first cousin who lives in Manitoba and it says from the website that close relative ties can be included onto your CRS score. When I was computing my CRS, it only asks about brother/sister. Hi I applied for WES canada for eca reports and tried making through western union it asked me to printout instruction paper with this I should proceed with my bank to clear. But in that paper from western union the final recipient is bank of New York mellon .if I proceed will my money go to WES canada or wes USA. Pls let me know

I have experienced security guards walking back and forth between the aisles staring at me in London and other parts of England, much more so than in the US. I am black, and the weird thing is that some of the security guards have been black and dark-skinned like me. I got tired of it, and now when it happens I wave to them and say hello. Sometimes, when I'm feeling especially brave and frustrated, and when they walk close to me, I ask them if they're watching me and tell them, 'Don't worry. I don't steal.' It's satisfying to see the embarrassed and uncomfortable looks on their faces.

Sooo you're an illegal immigrant in the us, you then move to Canada, they ask you to show up with your papers, you run away in fear of behing deported and then, you become an illigal immigrant in Canada and you think all of this in not fair on you???????? There's cases in this episode where they assumed racism without proof like the Best Buy for example. I used to work at Best Buy for a Co-Op placement in highschool and shoplifting was a big issue for them, it became best practice at one point to just approach customers of any race and ask them what they need. You also have to realize that it's an electronics store, you're there to buy something specific or look for something in particular.. It's very suspicious to be browsing around for 15 minutes unless you're in a game or movie section. Shoplifters usually stall before attempting a theft and usually do buy one or two things as to not arouse suspicion.

Employees ask customer a question to help. The customer then 'feels' he was profiled because he was asked for help. People are so soft. Babies everywhere. Pitty me please

It's sad that we needed this kind of testing to make people admit that there is racism in Canada. If you ask every person of colour in Canada, they will tell you the truth. Just believe them. Why doubt? There's a problem right there.

I drive them nuts, Bec I go all over the store. And when. They ask, I say I'm browsing, but I move about browsing quickly, but I know they keep a check on me, esp at Best Buy, Fry's, Guitar Center, etc

By virtue of what they were asked to do they would look suspicious, spend 15 mins, walking aimlessly through the store, up and down at random stuff. Store security is trained to spot strange stuff happening and it’s highly probably that the action of go in, look normal, for 15 mins made them look suspicious.

I'm not suggesting this explains what happened in this video at Best Buy but I will say that when I'm at my local Best Buy store and I'm white, that I get asked if I need help every 5 minutes! \nAgain, not justifying this video just adding my experience at BB.

If they came in a country legally, it's fine. But if they came into a country illegally, that is of course not fine. Kinda well deserved if you ask me, the country you're in has no reason to provide you with care or asylum.

I don't mind being asked if I need help..shoot most of the time I'm lost or can't remember what I need..I call it fine customer service and it makes me mad when I'm ignored..

Shoppers Drug Mart employees are the absolute worst in my experience for racial profiling. They opened a new store so had hardly any customers, I was shopping for painkillers where there are numerous drug types, brands, strengths (mg), styles (capsules, gel cap, tablets), amounts and prices - all in small writing which takes quite a bit of time to disseminate and decide upon especially when your eyesight is poor as mine is. After a while I looked up and noticed a security guard standing in the aisle watching me. I was shocked and confronted him, asking if he was watching me, to which he quickly denied and left. Was so disturbed I quickly left the store without buying anything and refused to return to that location. Another time I was shopping for an eyebrow pencil where the colour name was printed again in small letters so was spending time to find the one I wanted amongst all the different browns. After I had chosen and started to walk past their counter, their staff member stood with her arms folded shaking her head. This was very alarming as I had shopped in that store since it had opened! So after effectively being accused of shoplifting a $3 eyebrow pencil for no reason other than being black, at the cash line, a white guy sprints out the door carrying a $50 box of diapers! Whatever they are selling at Shoppers or anywhere else is not worth my freedom. They have no right to profile me when it is never going to be me stealing. There are many, many black people who just do not do those kinds of things. We are not all criminals. I have worked in lots of stores and the majority of people stealing are the majority of people in Canada - the white people. Stop living on stereotypes, Shoppers Drug Mart and don't pooh-pooh people's experiences when they call and complain!

I am white. And I have been targetted several times as a potential theif. Including one time going to Superstore in pjs and my pic was posted as theif. And my husband worked there (he's black) and told them to take that picture down. My white girl friend worked for Superstore and had her bag of laundry to take to her mother's house after work. The security guard . Ripped open her bag and threw her laundry every where. I have been targetted by Walmart security. (they weren't white). I have been targetted at several stores who aren't white. So. I always ask for my Receipt. They ask if I want it. And I say yes cuz I don't need them thinking or accusing I stole it.

Sooo. Being asked if they need help is a bad thing/racial profiling? I am white.. I get employees coming up asking if i need help.. usually i tell them what i am looking for and it helps alot... I think you should re-examine how you define racial consumer profiling
